Beats out Subway by a mile
Looking for something after 8 in the evening when in town on business
(Or as my stepson thinks visiting one of my many families I have across the country)
Found this via Unilocal and it was great
Had a steak sandwich with Cheese Whiz
The only thing that makes things better than Cheese Whiz is bacon
Maybe Jim can add bacon to the Whiz
Food was piping hot even after a 10 minute ride back to the hotel
Tim if you are ever in the Buffalo area give this place a try!!!

Jims has a fabulous stinger sub and prices are fair for the portions you are served. Their salads are pretty good too, huge portions. My plan is to try them all over time. The sub of the month is a great deal (just be sure to remind the cashier I’ve been charged full price before). The only downside is consistency in portion sizes. I tried their 3 taco special and was totally impressed with them, the next time and several times after I ordered the large pack and ate more she’ll than filling. I stopped by again last night and asked the server the difference between small and large and he started out telling me about the shell size. I asked if there is a difference in meat portion he said it was double. I got them home and still started out with first 3 bites being shell only. I wouldn’t expect too much from their tacos, but like I said stinger is the best and their french fries are super good too. 5 stars on the fries!

THis is a great place to get something to eat. THe monthly subs were always great. This is the first place I ever had a stinger (philly cheese steak with chicken tenders) and it changed my life (not really but it was kool).
The service has always been good. The food is always hot and exactly what you ordered. I would stay away from the sides because I never liked any of their sides (fries, funnel cake, doritto bag).

I have never found a philly cheesesteak outside of Philly that was very good. And certainly never in a chain product.
Until now. Absolutely outstanding cheesesteaks, and I don’t just mean ‘outstanding-because it’s-two-in-the-morning’ good. I mean daytime good. And that’s hard to do with any cheesesteak, let alone a chain cheesesteak.
This is a franchise to watch.
