Kodiak Jacks

I’ve eaten here countless times. Tuesday’s special is 2 for 1 wings. Highly recommend their Char-​B-​Que or hot char-​b-​que. So good. They also have homemade blue cheese. The other food I’ve seen there looks great. I’ll be back. The ambiance is great as well.

Here for the 2014 restaurant week… to start the night off a four spot table and squeezed the five of us in! The selection seemed great BUT why ask how you want your burger cooked when it comes out well done, the well drink included… ordered rum and coke terrible!!! Watered down and undrinkable! And to top it off paid extra for sweet potato fries that came out cold! Overall will be a very long time before this local returns!!!

Good food, casual atmosphere, lots of locals but welcoming to newbees. Great to stop in after volleyball in Wednesday night or
Taking your wife out on Saturday night. You’ll like the wings. I had the shaved steak sandwich, awesome.

Well, i have reviewed this place before but my review has magically disappeared, so I’m going to do it again. My first review was a great review. We patronize this restaurant often and usually they give us reason to want to return but unfortunately our last two experiences were not so, which is incredibly disappointing as it used to be the go-​to for us on a Friday night.
The last two times that we have eaten here we have gotten the same waitress, and that is where our biggest complaint lies. The first time we were told by a regular waitress (who is always fantastic) that our waitress was new, which doesn’t excuse how much she was ignoring our table, but we tried to just let it slide. The second time however, it was the same deal, she ignored our table, seemed to get irritated when we would ask for refills on drinks, or more dressing, etc. She chose to socialize with other employees (right next to our table) instead of checking in on our table, and the interesting thing is that I did not see her ignore other tables as much as ours. What’s the deal???
However, I try to not give a restaurant a poor review solely on customer service, because while it can make or break an experience, it’s the food that should be the bigger focus.
Our last meal here was shockingly disappointing. the salad I got had chicken on it that tasted fishy and soapy, the fish that another member of our party got was so incredibly salty it was almost impossible for them to eat, and they normally load on the salt. Usually the food here is spot on.
Our experience was so disappointing that it provoked us to leave a comment in their comment box. That was over a month ago and we have heard no response at all. I think that is what puts us off the most. Some sort of contact would have been appreciated!
I hope that Kodiak’s is just experiencing some hiccups and that one day again, I will be writing a better review!

Just enjoyed good Tuesday night wing night and great live music with Chris Maloney, playing on the outside patio. Buy one, get one free wings included such styles as Cattleman Gold (a mustard honey style that was sweet), Cajun hot which wasn’t too hot with a different flavor than traditional, garlic parmesan’s, but I really enjoyed the Jamaican Jerk which were dry and oh so tasty. All were very good. Tap selection was limited, but had good variety. I will definitely come back again.

Service is always with a smile… food is always delicious… bands in the grove during summer is awesome! Cant go wrong

This is a neat little place. It has separate bar and restaurant areas, friendly service, and a great out-​door venue in the back for live music. The food is pretty good, and there are a variety of daily specials as well.
