Cute German fest! My husband is into the limburger cheese sandwiches. Once you get past the smell, they’re not terrible. The beer is good. A lot of German music and dirndls. We will definitely be back.

A wonderful festival in the hinterland of East Aurora that celebrates everything to love about Bavaria: outdoor drinking, German pilsners and Hefeweisens, cured pork, potato salad and debauchery. This yearly festival, complete with dancing and music, is 21 and older only, which is partly why I think it’s so… pleasant. I know, I’m a terrible person, but when I see children running around a venue where ADULTS are acting like children, I start getting very nervous. So I’m glad that this element isn’t a part of this. Honestly, this festival is pretty much about merry-making, hanging out with your friends, listening to the German national anthem, singing«prost» and generally setting yourself up for feeling like crap the next day. Which is where I am now. But hey, it’s fun!
