This was the second time that I’ve been to this location. First, the manager was extremely pushy and basically harassed us the second that we walked in the door about being ready to order. Then, to top off the experience, I ended the night with food poisoning. Definitely not going back anytime soon! Unless you would like to endure a painful sickness, I’d suggest you pass on this one and go somewhere else.

Located between Tilted Kilt and Ruby Tuesdays in Brunswick Square Mall. Enter from storefront or from mall interior. Order from one of three touch-screen kiosks(or order from an employee if you’re lonely), grab a pager, enter pager number, swipe MyPanera rewards card, and wait with pager at table of your choosing. Despite being smaller than standalone Panera stores, this location seems to have better ambient lighting than others I’ve been to because its narrow layout and glass walls expose it to either natural light from outside or to lighting from inside the mall. I suppose this feature makes it a slightly better I waited for my order at a booth for about 5 minutes, and the friendly food runner who delivered the All-Natural Turkey Chili Bread Bowl I ordered made a second trip when he saw that my Blueberry Scone had not been delivered yet. As expected, the sourdough bread bowl tasted fresh and chewy and had the right amount of sour; the turkey chili had a slight kick and was refreshing on a cold December afternoon. $ 6.62 for the bread bowl was a bit pricey IMO, considering the bread bowl was mostly bread and only about 30% chili. The floor outside the men’s room was sticky, but the men’s room itself was relatively clean and well-stocked.

UPDATE: I placed an order early Sunday afternoon for a cinnamon — raisin bread to be ready by 5pm. I got to the location and, at their pick-up area for online orders, my order wasn’t prepared. I spoke to a young lady at the counted re: my order and she told me that it hadn’t been prepared because they had sold out of what I had ordered. I think that she could tell I was a bit frustrated and she told me that I could pick any other bread, regardless of price, as a substitute because of the problem. I ended up getting a fantastic semolina bread, sliced to my preference, and left very happy. I wish I had caught her name because she was absolutely fantastic and friendly.

Food is comparable to other Paneras but it can get pretty busy during peak meal times. During those times tables are hoarded by people doing«work» for hours and not really eating a meal at the moment. Thus tables for groups greater than two are hard to come by. The lines can get pretty long too. Thank goodness there are multiple kiosks where you can order your food without getting on line. The kiosks let you easily customize your order as well(additions and omissions to sandwiches or salads). Once you place your order they can locate you via tracker and bring the food to your table. Unfortunately, sometimes a table is hard to come by.

Ok so after a call from the store manager, who asked for a chance to redeem themselves, I came back. I will say that the food was much better and served fast and hot. This visit was much more along the lines of what I expect from panera. Thanks and we will stop back.

Wife and I both got the turkey flatbread and soup. The turkey flatbread was really small and had 2 small chunks of turkey on it. Soup was below average. What really gets me is the cost!!! way way overpriced for what u get!!!

Black bean soup was so watery. They forgot to toast my bread for sandwhich. Slow service. Waitstaff was nice but seemed like it was everyone’s 1st day.

I generally do not like going to Panera because they do such a sloppy job of food preparation particularly in «sandwich construction». However, this Panera did an excellent job of making my chipotle chicken sandwich correctly. In other words, the two halves of the sandwich were identical. At other locations, I have found that the simple task of making a sandwich and cutting it in half so that both halves are essentially the same, never works out. My compliments to this location for getting it right. I also liked that they bring the food to table instead of having to wait on a line to pick it up. Counterperson needs to speak a little more slowly or clearly for these old ears. Nice seating both inside the restaurant and at some tables set up in the mall’s lobby. Please note that if you switch tables before your food arrives, you should notify them since the tracking device they give you for your food remains«attached electronically» to the first table you place it on.

Panera Bread is usually my go-to fast food with more of a sit-down restaurant feel. When I’m in the mood for starchy wonderfulness, Panera and I converge. I like that I know what to expect from the food and have never been too disappointed with the dances done on my tastebuds. Good«hit the spot» flavor. I am from out of town and really wanted to be impressed with a new Panera bread but this one didn’t make the cut. Usually people don’t think that the bathroom should be sparkling clean in order for a restaurant to be exceptional, but it was about 3 pm in the afternoon and the woman’s bathroom smelled like a straight up urinal, unfortunately it made my brand-new hot foot waiting on the table for me look a little less than appetizing. I know I’m starting to sound like your Mother, and you should probably be cleaning your room or something right now, but I think it’s downright absurd that I willingly paid $ 4.50 for a half of a grilled cheese sandwich today. I couldn’t afford that $ 7 whole sandwich. In case you don’t know, a grilled cheese is 2 pieces of bread, one slice of cheese. Ok, good talk. On the flip side, two pros about this Panera that I appreciated. 1. Super delicious green tea infused with something wonderful 2. Food delivered right to my table. 2 stars for 2 great characteristics.

Bathroom disaster. Note to restaurants — we rate your food and your bathrooms. At 1 pm I did not expect the bathroom to smell like stale pee, sorry

I’ve gone back many more times since my boyfriend is obsessed with Panera and the other mall food options aren’t great, and I haven’t experienced any issues. food has been good, no lack of bread, soup, etc… not sure if they made efforts to improve this location or what, but zero complaints after my more recent visits.

The ambiance is nice. There are plenty of booths and chairs. It isn’t always quiet but it is nice. The food tastes good but it is pretty pricey. I always spend $ 10 without beverage for food and I don’t think it’s worth the price. I tried the southwest flatbread and it tasted good but not filling enough. The salads are always good.

I don’t go to Panera very often because they don’t have a ton of vegan options, but my friend and I went to this location for breakfast this morning. I’m really surprised to read all the bad reviews here because I had a great experience. In fact, I kept remarking to my friend how nice/helpful everyone was to us. The cashier, first of all, was warm and welcoming. She checked with the kitchen staff to get me an answer I asked about whether or not the oatmeal is made with milk(it’s not and is vegan as far as I can tell). Also she just had a great, happy spirit and was making friendly conversation and jokes with us. She seemed like she enjoys her job. I ordered the steel-cut oatmeal with strawberries and pecans, and my friend chose the turkey sausage and egg white sandwich and a granola parfait. Next, the woman who expedites the food to the pick-up area happily got me extra items that I requested. She went out of her way to get my friend a spoon when there were none to be found. Also, just before I walked away, she asked, «Would you like more strawberries for your oatmeal?» Of course I want more strawberries. She just seemed happy to go out of her way for the customers. I have to admit that my friend’s sandwich looked good and like it had been made with care. This Panera location was clean and has ample seating. I can imagine it must get pretty crowded and chaotic for lunch and later in the day. However, it was a peaceful and pleasant place to eat breakfast on a Saturday morning.

I love Panera. I really do. You can never go wrong with a Pick 2. The mac and cheese, broccoli cheddar soup and the smokehouse turkey panini are always my go to. Unfortunately, my lunch yesterday was missing my panini. I usually always check my to go orders… but I was in a rush and did not check until I got back to work… and was missing food. I was unable to go back(my office is 20 minutes away — I was headed to the mall for other errands during my lunch break) So, I was very hungry when I returned to work, and remained hungry until dinner time. Usually I have a good experience at Panera — food is always good and service is great, but yesterday I was sad :( Side note — Other good items include — Caramel latte and the asiago bagel. Yum :)

Gross, gross, gross. I don’t know what has happened to Panera. Unless it’s just this location? Haven’t been anywhere but this location for sometime, but it has gone downhill. I normally order the Chopped Chicken Cobb salad with Avocado. That’s always good, but the sandwiches are pathetic. On a visit with my boyfriend, who has never had Panera before, compared his Turkey sandwich to that of prison food. Comparison is totally legit, since he in fact works at a prison. It was two slices of bread, nasty looking turkey, one piece of lettuce and a tomato, thrown together. Also, there was mustard on his plate from the last customer… BARF! Lastly, it came with a room temperature bowl of mop water with unmelted cheese sprinkled on top that was supposed to be French Onion soup. I went again last week and got a Tuna sandwich, to go. Tuna was always my go to before the Cobb salad. It was gross!!! When I unwrapped it, it looked like it had been prepackaged and sitting for at least a day. You know when a sandwich is made fresh, this was not. The bread was cold, so it had been refrigerated. Went again just the other day. My sister got a turkey and cranberry pita concoction. Same set up as my boyfriend. Slapped together and just the bare essentials of what was listed on the menu. Such a let down! It’s sad when you can get a better meal in prison.

Located next to the Tilted Kilt in the Brunswick Square Mall, you can enter in from the outside to go or hang in the mall with a toasty sandwich. Similar to other Panera’s, only difference I noticed as they have a GPS device that they give you if you choose a table where they can find where your sitting with and bring the food directly to the table so you don’t have to get up and wait for your named to be called which was very convenient. Beyond that business as usual, toasty sandwiches and salads like normal.

One of the newer stores within Brunswick Square Mall, this sandwich shop/bakery is an OK place to grab a bite either while shopping or waiting for your movie to start. I would not go out of my way to eat here otherwise but, considering many of the other choices in this mall, you could do far worse. I went with the half Turkey and Avocado sandwich with an apple and iced green tea. I wasn’t very hungry but, after getting shut out of an earlier showing of a movie I wanted to see(because now you pay to select your seat and we couldn’t get three together), but it was a good way to kill time. The ingredients in the sandwich were good and fresh, and their breads really stand out, but the Iced Green Tea tasted more like Green Apple than anything else. Yes, they say it’s infused with papaya and passion fruit, but that’s not what it tasted like. Also, it was way too sweet. I don’t know if I’d return on purpose but, as I said above, it’s a good option if you want something quicker than one of the mall’s sit-down restaurants but not necessarily fast food.

The food is standard across the board, so no complaints from me. As for the service, at the register or even the people bringing the food and taking away the plates, they’re younger in general, but also efficient and friendly for the most part. I like there is a little outdoor seating area, and since it’s connected to the mall, it’s convenient to go browsing or there are tables outside the establishment, near an entrance, plus WIFI. In general, this mall is central to a bunch of local central towns, so you get A LOTOF teens here, rowdy or otherwise, especially on Friday nights when they have nothing else to do than roam the somewhat small mall aimlessly, or weekends, and summer time. It’s a bit annoying, but what can ya do?
