I go to the one in Gary on Grant St. When you walk in you can smell the food and it smells great. Where you order is noisy from other customers waiting and talking unbelievably loud. I always get the jerk chicken ½ chicken and fries for $ 9… And it is so good. Order ahead but definitely go.

Passing through moving cross country, saw the 2277 grant st location in gary, stopped for some food. Very reasonable prices and very flavorful food. We were not disappointed.
Gyro combo for $ 6 is a great deal, the sauce and veggies were very fresh and flavorful. The French fries were great too. My wife got a jerk chicken wrap combo, also a killer price. The jerk chicken was nice and spicy but doesn’t melt your face off, and it had excellent flavor.
There wasn’t much room to sit inside and eat, but all the magic happens in the kitchen anyway.
Plan on eating at home or in your car, but definitely stop by.

Don’t ever run game on someone. The old, «I don’t have any change is that fine.» –_​_​– (hell no it’s not fine but go one girl) –_​_​– really… that’s what we’re running in 2015. You knew my meal was $ 17 n some change and placed your bet that I’d have 20 in cash.
I ordered the curry goat, rice and beans, mac and cheese, cornbread. 17 n change — delivery. The menu clearly says, «served with one drink and 2 sides.» I asked about the drink adter my order was read back to me and was told that my dinner order doesn’t come with a drink.
The Curry was salty but still edible.
The rice n peas were topped with the curry goat and they were so so.
The goat meat was not bad, was tender.
Now… Here’s were it gets wild.
As many none splinters as there were, It’s as if they found the goat as road kill and dumped it In he pot. Every bite… EVERY BITE had rice sized bone splinters/​fragments. Remember this goat is atop of my rice n beans.
The mac n cheese… Forget about it.
You could sprinkle more cheese on it and it would still be bad.
Cornbread./… Well you get the point right.
Jerk 2 Go needs to better than this, especially as a black business. You don’t just represent yourself, your represent all black business.

Great place that is difficult to get to because of road closures in the area. Ordered a full dark with extra sauce and was very pleased with both the sauce and chicken. Great flavor profile, while still maintaining a very juicy moisture. The service was prompt and friendly and the place has a seating area for those choosing to dine-​in. They also deliver, so you can avoid the weird traffic patterns. The ONLY reason I’m giving it 3 stars is due to the fact that the bread had mold on it. That is very disappointing and should have been seen by the staff before it was placed on top of my chicken.

MashaAllah the food is amazing. If you like fish, try the the Escovitch Fish. Jerk chicken and oxtail are also on point. Vibes are excellent, they have inspirational quotes on the wall and the service is great.

I checked into the Gary, In location. The ppl were very nice. The service was fast. They answered all my questions. The food was delicious, plentiful and piping hot fresh. I would definitely recommend this place and go back, because I really enjoy jerk food.

Best jerk chicken in the area. I had the 6 piece wings with a side of fried plantains. I’ve never had plantains and they were great. They were the perfect thing to cool down the hot flavor of my chicken. My girlfriend had the ½ chicken all white meat with fries and potato salad. The fries are the best I’ve had in a long time. The potato salad was great too. The manager’s name is Tofiq (I think that’s how it’s spelled.) I recommend the Sky Juice from the juice bar.
