Dive bar. You have to walk down steps to get in just like ‘Cheers’. Strong drinks, great service, typical dive bar atmosphere. However, everyone here has always been nice… including the patrons, which is hard to find nowadays. It’s a dive without being a dump, if that makes sense. No frills kind of place, but you will feel at home. Nothing hipster or annoying about Calendo’s, and I will head back again when I want a drink or three without drama and BS.

No food served, but a cozy establishment. It is like going to a bar in someones basement.

Let me say, I like dive bars. I really hate bar culture that involves terrible loud music and $ 13.00 martinis. This place is small, not overly decorated, and the drinks are STRONG and affordable.

Small little bar in Dundee next to a bike trail. You can bike and rollerblade and get wasted during the day. I talked to the owner and this nice classic place use to be several types of establishments way back. This place is really old and was a place where gangsters in the twenties went. The beer is resoanably priced and I think they have a fair menu selection. You can smell the beer, , and history of this place

One of the many bars in Dundee that one must go to. I’m not sure there is a better town suited for a pub crawl than Dundee. Many many choices and all withing walking distance. They’ve put some money into this place and you can tell they actually care about their customers. The place is perfect now that you can’t smoke in there! No doubt the BEST frozen pizza you will have at any bar!
