The Admiralty Inn & Suites

There were bugs in the breakfast room Plus the overall experience was very cheap and the hotel was not in the best location. There was very few activities to do near the hotel. The staff was always in the back office and never at the front desk. Also it was very outdated and old which led to many rooms being dirty, disgusting and u comfortable.

Despite all of the poor reviews, I have no complaints. You get what you pay and plan for. It was a last minute trip for my family and I, so I didn’t expect a five star or even a four star hotel. Yes, it is a little dated, but the room, as well as the bathroom is very spacious, and the pool is directly out back. The beds are comfortable to my preference, and I did not find any bugs. Believe me, I checked. They also offer breakfast, although we took advantage of the neat places within a short driving distance. Room 109.

If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. Rude, dirty and awful service.
My wife and I stayed here recently booked a non smoking room we checked in and our room smelled of cigarets. We called the front desk. Told the girl what the problem was she moved us to another room Right down the hall. We get into new room this one not only smells like smoke but there are burn holes in the comforters and on the only chair cushion .
I called the front desk spoke to the same girl told her that this is unacceptable my wife is pregnant and we can’t sleep in a smoking room.
Her response was sir what do you expect me to do. There isn’t anything I can do.
I said you can find me another room she said there weren’t any. So I called around to other hotels there were no vacancies anywhere in the vicinity as we were in town for a wedding.
I called front desk again spoke to same girl and I asked to speak to the manager. She said he wasn’t coming back until monday. I said I want a refund I showed her the cigaret burn holes in the comforter and chair.
She said we could get a full refund and her manager would call us first thing monday morning. I said that’s fine I gave her my name address and cell number.
Monday came my card was charged I never herd from the manger.
Tuesday morning I called the hotel first thing spoke with the manager. He said there were no notes left for him to call us.
He also informed me that there policy is no refund.
This place is awful. Don’t stay here.

Upon registration I stood at the desk for 10 minutes, with 3 people gossiping in the office and one in the phone until someone acknowledged me. The staff was rude and when I asked simple questions. Of course our keys did not work. But the outdoor pool is pretty decent for a motel along a strip mall. I guess you get what you pay for.

NOT impressed. I was looking for somewhere to stay while traveling for business. I would not come back again. The décor was from the early 1990’s, the bedspread was dirty with hair on it, the walls look like they were just painted white over red but you could still see the red. The bathtub still had hair in it from the last person, and the room smelt like old smoke. I felt uncomfortable the whole time! I’m usually very easy to please but this place just didn’t do it for me. Stay somewhere else.

Don’t stay at this hotel. We stayed there for a family wedding. We had to flee our room at midnight after my daughter got bit by bedbugs. I had to pick one star, but I should pick minus stars. They moved us to a new room that was a smoking room and stunk of cigarettes. The staff did nothing but refer us to Expedia where we booked. Other people came in behind us to complain of mold in the showers and on the ceilings.

My wife and I stayed her the weekend after Labor Day for 4 nights. The rooms are dated, but clean. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, but we’ve slept on worse. The bathroom had loose tiles on the floor. The TVs are old and really should be upgraded.
The main reasons we chose the Admiraty was that it had both indoor and outdoor pools and although we stayed in a non-​smoking room, it is a smoker friendly property. Our room was ground level and the back door opened onto a nice little patio where we could smoke, and it was about 10 steps to the pool. The courtyard has a plush green lawn, lots of flowers and plants. The pool was clean and the water was a perfect temperature. The lounge chairs around the pool need to be upgraded.
The location is convenient and it is easy to get to the local attractions; Falmouth Harbor, Woods Hole, and the Town Center. There are lots of good restaurants nearby also, upper end dining, dive bars, and everything in between.
They had 3 different WIFI connections available and we had no problems staying connected. The complimentary breakfast wasn’t anything special, but they do have waffle batter and an iron available which was great.
We will probably stay there again next year. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at the admiralty this summer for the only vacation we get every summer. we left 1 day early due to the hotels horrible vibe. The 1^st room we went into was dirty, outdated and unsafe for our toddler to be in (broken electrical wires hanging from the wall).Not to mention a urine/​throwup smell… When we asked to move to another room we were accommodated. the 2^nd room was a little better but just not nice. It just wasn’t a place we felt comfortable relaxing in. There was a dinosaur TV, dirty rugs, and an over all ‘yuck’ factor. also the wi fi was spotty at best
We left a day early, much to our dismay.
I recommend not staying at this hotel. Dont waste your money!

Two stars because the room was clean, however in much need of an update. Rooms were large but way overpriced. A short drive to downtown Falmouth and the beach. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I waited till last minute to make a reservation and this hotel was the only one with rooms.

This place needs major updating! There were burn holes in the curtains, all the furniture and counters were beat up, most of the outlets in the room wouldn’t work, the blow dryer didn’t work and the toilet wouldn’t flush unless you held the handle down for like minute straight and even then it wouldn’t always work! I could go on and on but you get the point! The location is good though.

I stayed here at The Admiralty Inn & Suites for two nights from ¹⁰⁄₂₆ & ¹⁰⁄₂₇ for the 2013 Cape Cod marathon weekend. While I did not book this property myself, I was sharing this room with a friend of mine, also doing the marathon as well. While the reviews on Unilocal seemed unfair and outdated, I guess this property have been under a recent management change and a renovation, since I saw a nice improvement from what I see in the photos posted by other Unilocal users.
The price point per night was about $ 80, so it was definitely affordable for 2 persons. The property itself was broken up by multiple buildings, which was interesting. I counted at least 3. There was plenty of parking on property and we got a spot right next to the entrance to the building where our room was. We were staying in #416. Hotel amenities included an outdoor swimming pool and a heated indoor pool, both of which I didn’t get to use. The check in process was fast and convenient. The lobby area was clean and spacious. They also had a business center, which was basically a stand alone computer terminal on the far corner of the lobby. A lot of properties do that nowadays. It’s just a good thing to do. They also have wifi, but it was password protected and I didn’t use it much at all anyway.
The Admiralty Inn and Suites is located on Teaticket Highway, which is about 2 miles from Falmouth town center. Getting here from either Boston or Providence takes about 1 ½ hour of driving, which isn’t that bad of a drive. The room itself seemed to have better days. I agree that the room could use a bit of freshening up, but it worked out perfectly with what my friend and I came to Falmouth to do. The room amenities included a microwave, a mini fridge, and of course, the TV. We got a room with a stand up shower and not a bath tub. I was a bit disappointed, but what can you do? It wasn’t my reservation, but oh well. The bed I slept on was more or less comfortable. Got about 6 – 7 hours of good sleep on both nights and I am happy with it. Wish I got more in, but that’s how it goes when you are sleeping in unfamiliar surroundings for the first time — let alone time zone changes too.
The room itself was nice and comfortable. Clean and good. There was maid service here at the Admiralty Inn and Suites, but we elected not to use them, with exception for discarding trash and getting new towels. Everything was working properly, so that was great. I would really recommend this property to those who would like to stay in Falmouth and not be charged extra for comfort and luxury. These are comfortable digs at an affordable prices. Service is good and dependable. The Admiralty Inn and suites also serves up complimentary breakfast each day, although I did not partake in that amenity. That part of it sucked. Hoping you would find it most satisfactory as I did. Located near shopping areas and places to eat. Have fun in Cape Cod /​Falmouth!

Walking in to the hotel you can tell it needs an update, but other than the look I have no complaints. The room was very spacious. they do not have a full kitchen but they did have mini fridges, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. What I found a bit unorthodox was they have a Jacuzzi in the bedroom not the bathroom. It turned out to be really nice. I was able to relax in the tub and watch TV. They offered a hot breakfast, have an indoor pool and hot tub, and free wifi. Overall this is not a five star hotel, but I would stay here again.

While the rooms are not terrible the building is very old and tired. Good location and has a pool. Over priced at $ 159 during the summer. This place is okay if you want a central location but it’s not pretty!

I used to stay here often in the 90’s for romantic weekend getaways. It was a nice place and the breakfast was awesome. Those days for the Admiralty are long over. My room this weekend had broken light switches, holes in the wall, old tube TVs, broken jets in the Jacuzzi, etc.
The breakfast is now a continental style. The coffee creamer is powdered. The waffle machine is barely functional. The breads were old. The bagels were the little kind and they were like hockey pucks.
Don’t be fooled by the pictures on the web site, they are from a long bygone era. Even the hallways were littered with broken furniture.
If you are looking for a clean place to sleep it will suffice but as a home base for a great Cape vacation avoid the Admiralty inn.

It’s obvious that the Admiralty Inn had a heyday and that 2009 is not it. You can tell that it was once a very nice place, but now everything is extremely run down. The reason I give it three stars in spite of that, though, is that the room was still very clean even though it desperately needed updating. It also had a nice warm indoor pool, an outdoor pool, and free breakfast. (The free breakfast was just things like cereal and toast, but it’s still nice to have it!)
