I will never return to jersey mikes in East Hanover, the first time I went our order was all wrong because they were not listening. We were passing by and decided to try again, I felt like I was in line at the DMV the man in front of me apologized to the workers because he didn’t know how to order, kinda of like the soup Nazi, NOSUBFORYOU! We were being yelled at it was very uncomfortable and the turkey was so salty so no thanks! Really really bad

I was reluctant to try Jersey Mike’s, with so many local sub shops around the area why go to a chain? However, they’ve perfected the conveyor belt method of preparing sandwiches, ingredients– including bread– always seem fresh, prices are good, and staff always friendly. As a creature of habit, and someone who enjoys the comforts of home, I am curious to find out how Jersey Mike’s does outside of New Jersey where sub sandwiches may not be as much a staple in local diets!

The unprofessionalism of the East Hanover store is unbelievable. I had walked in to order a «Giant #13» for a kids birthday party. She took the order and said«Pay first” – I did and told the employees that while they were making it «Mike’s Way», I was going to run next door and get a balloon at Party City. As I was leaving, the employee had her co-worker take an order and ring up someone she knew personally. When I came back in 10 minutes later, the employee looked at me and said she completely forgot about my order and walked into the back. She had a male colleague start my sandwich and she came back in to finish it. While she was making the sandwich, she asked if I had paid for it(I had). In any other Jersey Mike’s I have been to, they waited until the order was complete before asking for payment. This employee(who was not wearing a name tag) seemed to be only concerned about getting payments and hooking up her friends. Don’t waste your time dealing with the unprofessionalism of the East Hanover Jersey Mike’s. You are better off going up the road to the one in Whippany or Parsippany – those two know how to treat their customers right.

This place over jimmy Johns, subway, etc any day period. The food is fresh. Fairly priced and the staff always engages in conversation with customers. I eat here about 3 times a week for lunch and I’ve never witnessed anything negative while eating or ordering here. The lunch lines grow quickly but Rich and his team stay focused and keep the service fast, efficient and friendly. Love you guys keep up the great work and happy 1 year ! Sincerely, Mike and James

This place should be called salty mikes. Everything is crazy salty. Even the bread is over salted.

This Jersey Mike’s Subs is located right next to Party City on Rt 10. I finally got to try it out and it was so good! The difference is that the ingredients are fresh and the workers will go above and beyond to make it extra good. For example, they made my grilled chicken fresh on the grill and then even offered to sauté the jalapeños and banana peppers to make it even more tastier. The most important thing is the workers, specifically the supervisor Keisha and Milli(I hope I remembered their names correctly) who were so friendly and had a big smile on their faces. They are the ones who really made the dining experience fun and enjoyable.

Recommend the Jersey Mike’s Famous Chicken Philly Cheese Steak. We shared a regular size which was a perfect portion for us. Fresh ingredients that are plentiful and well proportioned to the sandwich. Definitely would recommend a Jersey Mike’s over Subways any day.

We went in around 8.40pm looking to pick up a couple of sandwiches for dinner. The lady behind the counter could not have looked more bored or annoyed at our arrival(no other customers when we went in). She then proceeded to make my sandwich with white bread without even asking first. When I asked for wheat bread she gave me major attitude as if to say I was really holding her up and it was unreasonable of me to want wheat bread. Our sandwiches were good but expensive for their size. Even though this location is convenient for me, next time I will go somewhere else. I don’t want to deal with her again.

Solid sub joint. Real, fresh ingredients. Staff was friendly and fast. Place was clean and bright. They have grew hours and are easily accessible from rt 10(both sides!) and river road. Huge parking lot. I rolled in starving after work to grab a sub before running some errands on 10 and I was glad this place was easy to get to(and I didn’t have to succumb to any dark awful fast food cravings, or settle for chipotle-which I am SO sick of).

The best Sub chain, hands down! No matter what location, you will always have a great Sub. Glad to see them expanding to more areas in NNJ.

Excellent subs! I went there while they were doing a four day fundraiser doing sandwiches for $ 2.00. The place was packed and I still didnt wait more than ten minutes for my order which means they move fast during lunch time. I went two days in a row and had the roast beef special and The Jersey Shore special and both were excellent. The sandwich meat is sliced to order and are made right In front if you. Free refills in your drinks. Staff was friendly and remembered us from the day before.
