Nice little store with some standard camping/hiking supplies. One of the workers here is super annoying and always tries to keep long conversations going while customers are trying to shop. Dude, I just want to try on fleeces and browse stuff without explaining what netflix shows I’m watching, what music I’ve been into lately, or which sushi roll I just ate. The other employees know what to leave ya’ alone.

This is located right on Grand River so it’s nice and easy to find. There is parking in nearby structures and on the street as well as behind the store in lots. It’s right near the campus too so easy for people to get to if they are on campus or are coming onto campus by bus.
I have 2 Nalgene bottles from here and I still have them after 3 – 4 years in good condition. This place has sales and a very popular place on MSU’s campus even without sales. The staff doesn’t burden you and let’s you shop but can answer questions you have. My friends have bought sweatshirts and tshirts from here and they still have them in good quality. The sweatshirts are on the more expensive side but come in so many colors that they are preeeeety. :) If you’re into North Face, they have a ton of NF apparel.

I don’t think I ever actually bought anything here, but my friends and I would go to Moosejaw at least once a semester just to browse. They always have so much North Face apparel on hand in addition to the famous Nalgene bottles. If I was rich and outdoorsy, I would shop here all the time.

I always stop at Moosejaw on the way out to Grand Ledge to climb. The staff is fun and friendly and they are always having a good time. The last time I went in there a customer was singing a duet with one of the employees. They also have a great rewards program where you get 10% of your purchases back in rewards points and the whole program is FREE.

they have great stuff for the outdoorsy types…
being a small location, they have a minimal amount of inventory on hand, but what they don’t have they will get shipped in from another location.
they staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. they are always having fun.
great business with good people behind it. 5 stars.
