This place is horrible. Horrible service, horrible nickel and dining, this is not worth the trip.

I was not a fan of this East Meadow night club. The crowd, I hate to say, is 65 and older and the DJ mostly played disco music. Kept the seniors dancing the night away but for us, we were waiting for some more contemporary tunes so we too could dance. Finally, a half hour of danceable music than back to the 70s. We asked the DJ for a couple requests but that never happened. Price at the door is cheap but drinks aren’t. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here seeing as I was cougar bait.

Aura nestled in a strip mall location. Truthfully speaking if you’re not paying attention you will literally drive right by it. Stopped in last night to celebrate my girlfriend 35th birthday. Atmosphere is captivating but their décor in Aura is simply magnificent when the lights begin it’s just magical. Love the way they station there three bars. One on the dance floor. The other two located on each side of the room. Wonderful section for VIP., or red rope privileges. Shay was our bartenders and she served us well.

Yeah, so no. I think Abelle N’s review covered it perfectly. Super young once the afterwork party is done and much older when that party is on(nothing wrong with that, cuz hey, ill be old pretty soon and ill want places to party, too.) DJ was just terrible and switched music around too much. Drinks are Manhattan expensive. Selection is limited. Girls super young(though, I’ll admit three or four were still worth the jail sentence.) If I was driving that night, I’d have left within an hour or so. Won’t be here again.

I don’t know lol I didn’t have fun here for so many reasons lol 1) they don’t know how to make any fruity drinks beside sea breeze that was disappointing! 2) the crowed looked really young like under 18 3) I don’t like how people stated to leave at one thirty when the place was suppose to close at four am 4) the house music was not really to my liking 5) more girls then guys .that’s a good thing but still people touching… so no! Lol 6) they let people smoke anything 7) people had drinks in there hands and kept on dancing while spilling there drinks everywhere and on people wtf ?!? 8) I step on gum about three times and no it’s not the same gum. Next Time if I do come here again… going to lay some gum on the other side of the dance floor have a drink and watch them complain how they stepped on gum the whole night … Cause I was pretty pissed! Stepping on gym and not just one!!! Ughhh !!! The good things about this place is the atmosphere… they redecorate this place top notch… larger dance floor and seatings near the dance floor and on the sides… And I like the lighting as well… other then that… I will never come back to to place ever! Lol

SO… I will keep this short. It was… nice. Wasn’t really my scene. A lot of young college kids and im used to partying with the grown and sexy. The Dj was OK, and i liked the mixed crown. I wont be going back here again though.

Came here yesterday night(Saturday) with some of my girlfriends. Had a great time, good atmosphere, good music. It had a good size crowd not packed like sardines compared to other places I’ve been to.

Went here for a bachelorette party on a Saturday. Got there around 10:30 and it was pretty much empty until about 11:00. The bachelorette didn’t have to pay for her entry fee. 10 bucks to get in for the rest of us. I had been to this place once before, but didn’t realize that drinks were 10 bucks. 10 bucks for a gin and tonic? Give me a break. To top it off, sucky music. I can’t stand the constant thump thump of repetitive music with no lyrics. We ended up leaving and going to Black Thorns in RVC, which we knew had some more reasonable prices. If I’m going to pay 10 bucks for everything all around, I might as well have gone to the city and get a better experience.

Do you follow the latest dance craze? Do you, like, still, like, use the word like in, like, every sentence? Do your shoes not really fit your feet but totally match the short dress you’re wearing? Do you always wear Air Force 1’s with your suit? Is you’re idea of «getting dressed up» include a fedora, tiara or vintage snapback? COMEONDOWN! Coat check, cover charge and cheap drinks. You’re already out $ 15 – 20 walking in the door. No prob-emo. The crowd is so very mixed. Very young(like still doing calculus homework young) all the way up to Jaguar status(50 plus lady looking to hook up with a younger, muscular frat boy). Do not be fooled! That girl at the bar may look 29… until she flashes her bus pass and college ID to the bartender. If she looks young… subtract 3 years. If she looks more mature… add 8 years. Music ranges from fist bumping electronica to hip hop and house. The early, after work happy hour crowd is older but fun. They want to pack all their fun in the next 2 hours. So work fast. After 11PM, the crowd turns Hofstra freshman young quickly. Take your time… wait for«their» song and pounce. This goes for guys and girls. Not you… old creeper. At some point in time, dance circles will break out and battle dancing will commence. Jump in and get your Dance Central on! The place has a couple of bars to chose from and super hot bartenders to keep you staring… and ordering… and staring some more. Drinks are less than $ 10 unless you go LI Iced Tea. But be warned! Police watch this place like a hawk. You stumble outta here and try to drive, you might as well just put the cuffs on yourself. OVERALL Fun place. Loud tunes. Close to the highway and a 24 hour diner across the street. Can be pretentious depending on the time you go but worth stopping in for a few drinks and some booty shaking.

Happy Hour drink specials are very good. I’m used to drinking in the city where one drink is $ 10 and up. I had two cocktails, my boyfriend two beers and we only paid $ 18. Also the food they have at happy hour was mediocre however it was free. Not a bad deal for a weeknight. Free food & drink specials. Music was pretty much Top 40 which is what I would expect for Long Island, wasn’t too crazy about the crowd but that’s not what I went for. Service was a little on the slow side from the bartenders. They seemed pretty lax it took me awhile to get their attention so that I could order more drinks.

the renovation from«Savannah» is very good. The place looks great. The bartenders and door men are polite. The drinks are good and reasonably priced. The bartender, «Matty» was awesome. Very professional, attentive, and welcoming. Now the crowd… I’m on the fence. Maybe I just went on an off night but a lot of the people who were there seemed to have a false sense of importance about them. I really can’t fault the nightclub for this BUT, I will say that I has to be included as part of the review hence the reason for only 3 stars. I would go back one more time.
