DF Meadows

Great live band. Beautiful outdoor patio with a bar. Nice crowd and the bartender Mike was fabulous.

DF Meadows is owned and operated by Denise and Frank. The bartenders and staff are friendly and welcoming. I have been coming here for years and I’m happy to say that I’ve met some wonderful people, some I’m proud to call friends. It’s a local and friendly establishment with amazing food and drinks. If your looking for a great place to hang out and see great bands on a Friday or Saturday night, this is the place to be. For only $ 5 at the door you will receive a raffle ticket with a chance to win a free dinner. There is no other place that I know of that give out raffles when paying at the door. Not to mention, the outside bar rocks when the weather is warmer. Come on down to DF Meadows and enjoy a good meal and/​or drink.

My first time there and I was impressed. The band was great, the food was great and the atmosphere was very nice. The bar is clean and everyone there was very friendly. If you enjoy having a nice dinner and hearing a great band then DF Meadows is the perfect place.

This place is just an old outdated bar. Tap beer is warm. Tvs are old. Food is mediocre. I felt like I was in the 1990’s. This place is extremely dated. Still looks like the previous bad Callahans. Lipstick on a pig. I would NOT suggest going here.

Great food, and great bartenders… lots of talented bands on Fri and Sat nights! Recommend giving this place a try,

As a musician this is a great place to play for any band. New owner Frank does the right thing doesnt play games. Great renovations have really improved this place. Food is so much better than it used to be.

Ended up back here oddly enough, to see Carman Ave band. Didn’t order a beer, figured owner hasn’t fixed coolers. SAVING GRACE to this bar is bartender, Elaine. Told her we kinda liked screwdrivers and she made us thee best pineapple version of a screwdriver we ever had. THEN… band stops and ASSHOLE OWNER, screamed at her in front of entire place. Don’t even know what the poor girl did, cuz she was hustling all night! unfortunately for him, this started the crowd around us chattering, about how they hate the new owner. I believe his name is Frank. Being nosy, I had to ask and whoa… NOBODY likes this guy. people were talking to him then ripping him apart and laughing at him when he walked away. A) he rips bands off (see other posts) B) he belittles his staff in front of guests and C) can’t offer a cold beer? so the whole reason df meadows sucks is completely because of the owner. Great bands, great bartenders but still I will not go back and support an ignorant, know it all owner. Especially since I’m a bartender. I tried to give it another shot, was having a great time until he yelled at his employee in front of everyone, and changed the crowds mood in an instant. This piece of shit has no future in the bar business. I suggest you rethink your options if u are thinking about spending a laughable $ 125 for New Year’s Eve.(is this guy kidding???). DONT GO HERE!
PS… THE PICTURES ON THE WEBSITE ARE NOT OF ACTUAL BAR. THEY ARE STOCK IMAGES. THIS GUY EVEN USES FAKE PICTURES ON HIS WEBSITE TO LURE U IN. WHO DOES THAT???

This place has potential so I give it 3 stars as it is now but with the chance it gets 4 in the future.
Place has been redone. Nice new bathrooms big dining room and new kitchen.
Went this Sunday and me and my buddy were the only 2 in there and that’s y it only gets 3 stars. They have the nfl package but There was no football crowd to chat with.
The burger was surprisingly good. Thick & juicy fresh meat. Not a fatty prefrozen patty. A pile of fries comes with it
They have 9 taps, blue point, goose island, Sam, Stella, a ginger beer, and then the usual crap.
And the beers were a reasonable price not 7 or 8 like other places around
I would come back again.

Formerly Callahans, pretty bad food and service was inexperienced and inattentive. Band was pretty good, but they charge $ 5 just to walk in. It’s not a music venue, it’s just a dated, old bar. Would never go back.
