Sonic

To fairly rate Sonic, I feel like I would have to split it in half.
On one hand, their hot food isn’t very good. You can get a better burger at most other places. This Sonic has fast service and, unlike most fast food places in the area, their servers are notably friendly… But, if you’re looking for a lunch or dinner spot, good service can’t outweigh the mediocre-​at-​best meal.
On the other hand, in addition to good service, they have great ice cream, and an all around good menu of frozen desserts. So, it’s a great place for dessert, especially on warm days when you can use their outdoor seating.

We had an issue with the milkshakes purchased from Sonics on 5÷31÷14. The cups must have been defective because the shakes were all over my car rug even with it in the cardboard cup holder. I spoke with the Manager, Kyle, who advised me to speak with their General Manager, Kim. After four days, the General Manager still hasn’t returned my call. If a business doesn’t think it’s important enough to address a patron’s concerns, then I will not patronize that business. We also ordered a toaster hamburger and fries that night. Unfortunately, the food was poorly made and tasteless. The milkshake all over my car, terrible food and non-​existent customer service just added insult to injury. Total FAIL. So if you really like poor food and even worse customer service, go to this place.

I’m only writing this for the shakes and drinks. I have never eaten here.
The shakes are super and the price makes me wonder ho they do it. My summer drink has become the coconut pie cream shake. Every time I get it I always smile after my first sip. It really tastes like a coconut cream pie. I took one star off because they do not have any fat free or reduced calorie option for the shakes. In a way that is good so I don’t go everyday.

I don’t usually go out of my way to visit fast food establishments, but all those damn Sonic commercials convinced me to seek it out. Sonic’s marketing department says «Winning!»
I have visited Sonic a handful of times over the last decade, mainly when traveling in other states, so it was fun to be able to visit a location (relatively) close to home.
What I liked about the East Norriton Sonic is that there is an indoor dining room. Generally, I don’t like to eat in cars. I’ll do it if I have to, but it was nice to be able to eat my Sonic meal at an actual table. They have a decent number of outdoor tables for when it gets nice out. Not sure if other Sonics have this as well, but this location gets props for having it nonetheless!
As for the food, Sonic is pretty generic fast food. I got a small hot dog and a small hamburger. Both were pretty good, especially for the low price. They also have a wide range of fun beverages and sides. If go between 2 and 4 pm, you can get discounted drinks and sides.
Service was super quick. Probably cause they are riding around on those roller blades/​roller skates. Makes me wish they had Sonics around when I was a teen– I would have worked here in a heartbeat just for that reason!
Overall Sonic is a pretty fun option if you are going the fast food route.

Best Sonic I’ve ever been to!
I was there earlier this evening and I received quick and friendly service and the food was pretty good (as far as fast food goes). Their chilli cheese fries are bangin’…Just thought I’d throw that out there.
Also, there is sweet indoor restaurant portion of the drive-​in with a gorgeous fireplace and nice plushy chairs nearby. Who knew?! Sonic is now a spot to be for all seasons. Very nice, Sonic. :)

Decent Sonic, they’re pretty quick in comparison to any Sonic that I’ve been! Blue Coconut Chocolate Slush… try it and weep. You’re welcome!

Clean, fast, and friendly service!
Their food is better than the other Sonic’s I’ve tried in the area.

Having come here for the 5^th time last night, I feel this place is now due for a review. Two things stick out about this place, first the sheer breadth of ways to order your food is astounding, you can go inside, go through a drive though, or just pull up and park at one of the ordering machines. The other is the inconsistency of the product, some days it’s 4 star good and others it’s 2 star bad. I have come at all times of the day too, there is just no excuse for breaded chicken to be soggy or fries to be cold. The service is friendly and fast however and being that they are only a few months in the game and in a prime location the food should get better I hope. Other tid bits, get the tots, breakfast served all day, so many options when it comes to drinks it’s mind boggling.

Service is slightly faster than the Bensalem location but still kinda slow and it took 15 min to get my coconut slush and tots. At least my pizza was ready for pick-​up by the time I got my drink and side…

Good fast food. They mixed up our order a bit, but they’re still settling in and it was super busy. The location, while relatively convenient, was a bit awkward since the one set of stalls has you facing the southbound Dekalb traffic stopped at the light.
But it’s a welcomed addition to the area since we would normally drive to the Limerick location when we gave in to our fast food cravings and didn’t feel like having Chick-​Fil-​A (which is our go-​to fast food restaurant.)
Anyway, we’ll be back and hopefully they’ll smooth things out.
