KFC

We went to KFC to takeout a couple of orders. We don’t go here often, because the service is ALWAYS super slow, the people behind the counter are like zombies, and the last 3 times we have gone here they forgot to put something on the order. They NEVER forget to charge you for everything! Then… you have to drive back 3 miles to get what they forgot. KFC = fast food? Are you kidding me? You can see the food, you can be the only person in line. But… you can’t get out of there fast. It’s crazy. This happens at all KFC now. Worthless chain, it is.

On a whim I decided to drive-​thru this KFC for a bite to eat at dinner-​time. Unfortunately, it was far from the highlight of my evening.
I pulled around this very small location, placed my order with no problem and pulled ahead for my food. The car in front of me received their order within what seemed like a reasonable amount of time but then sat there… unable to pull forward. Why was this? There was a mini-​van dead ahead, waiting for its order that had yet to be fulfilled. Because the parking lot is so small, there was really no where for anyone to go. The car in front of me decided to drive over the curb, scraping their front and rear end in order to manage their escape. I pulled forward… wondering what I would do when it was my turn to leave.
The transaction began by paying for the order. Then I sat… and sat… and sat, waiting for any sign of my food. After some time, the drive-​thru attendant returned to the window to explain that they were out of the Original Recipe chicken I ordered. Not really wanting the Extra Crispy or Grilled options that were available (but feeling like it’d be more of a hassle to get my money back at this point) I chose the Grilled. I then proceeded to wait for several more minutes before my food was packaged and handed over. Fortunately by this point, the minivan in front of me was pulling out as well.
The meal itself was decent… the chicken was hot, potato wedges crispy, and corn steaming.
This location really has to work on their efficiency and speed with night-​time orders. It was clear that the employees here were in no rush to fulfill the orders for the three cars in the drive-​thru and it left me feeling frustrated and annoyed once I finally got to pull out of their establishment.

This is the littlest KFC I’ve ever been to. With that said, it’s probably the fastest. With a line of about 10 people we got our food in about 5 minutes and were off to get all Doublicious up in there.
Issues… Maybe they got my order wrong, but I ordered the hot wings and they weren’t an ounce of hot. Got home and threw some habanero sauce on them and all was well.
