Key to getting it not so pink, is to eat it well done. Makes a huge difference. Love the bun, it’s so buttery and soft. The meat is plentiful and is well cooked when asked(well done), my preference. The fries are probably the best. So crispy and so fresh. Crinkle cut is one of the best ways to do it.

My decision on what eatery to partake il was a hard one. After surfing through Unilocal for suggestions, I came to the conclusion to try out millers Roast Beef right here in my small town of east providence. I always pass the restaurant when I’m on my way home, but never indulged. I usually only order chicken when I dine out but this time it was roast beef. I ordered a «regular all the way» and pastrami Reuben, when I got there, I was delighted with the hospitality. I mentioned that I was a newbie & was given free homemade barbecue sauce, pickles & cherry peppers. The hostess also told me what her«Top picks» where. The aroma of the food in the car was delicious I knew I made the right choice. I returned home, took one look at the sandwiched and was overwhelmed, it was too good to be true and the fries were outstanding. I understand now why Miller’s roast beef is always flooded with customers. Never underestimate the small restaurants around your way. I ate my meal so fast, I forgot to take pictures for Unilocal. That’s how good it was. Miller’s roast beef is my new fav.

Forgive me Unilocal, for I have sinned. It’s been almost a year since I visited Miller’s Roast Beef, and I’m only now getting to the review. What can I tell you, there’s been a little bit of a backlog. Chalk this one up to another great success with the Unilocal mobile app. There I was in East Providence, totally unfamiliar with my surroundings. I was hungry and short of time. Could I quickly find something delicious and filling? Unilocal pointed me to Miller’s Roast Beef. When you go to a place that has roast beef in the name, you get the roast beef. I got mine with cheese. And damn, was that good. Places like this are few and far between. I hope Miller’s Roast Beef is here with us for generations to come.

Millers is by far the best roast beef place around! Everything there is good though including their chicken sandwiches and I absolutely LOVE their crinkle fries. Also their BBQ sauce is by far the best Ive ever had. I would put it on anything and everything and I don’t like BBQ sauce… thats how good it is! I will be definitely be a lifelong customer!

Should have read the tips on Unilocal first! I ordered a roast beef sandwich and fries, but I didn’t say what I wAnted on it. The girl at the counter considered it done and handed it in. Fortunately I realized it quickly and asked her to add a couple of things but I had no idea it came with nothing. The sandwich was just ok, but the fires were great!

Best Roast Beef Sandwiches ever. This particular review is about their East Providence location although their Attleboro location is pretty kickass as well. Millers is one of Rhode Islands best kept secrets. Its on a corner of a main road in East Providence and to stumble upon it is like finding treasure. That being said it’s a little hole in the wall-counter service type of space. Nothing fancy, really simple and very clean. The staff is all very nice and friendly, and they always make suggestions if you’re a little indecisive on what to order. I usually order a regular roast beef all the way with all the fixings, lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese and sometimes I ask for some homemade bbq sauce on the side. The bread is nice and fresh, and if you hit up Millers at just the right time, the roast beef is pulled right out of the oven so it’s nice and warm upon the first bite… Absolutely delish. I pair this with an order of fries. They also offer an order of onion rings and fries for those who want the best of both worlds. Which I do occasionally, but usually it’s just a large fry. The fries are nice and crispy and you can tell the oil in their deep fryers are changed regularly because you don’t get that dirty oil taste. For those who are feeling extra hungry, please order the Casserla. It is a Portuguese pulled smokey pork with a nice little kick. Your stomach will not regret it!

This is hands down the best roast beef sandwich in the new England area. I have had Mikes and Kellys roast beef. They just don’t compare. And wants roast beef is just nasty.

Great spot. I got there early(11:30) as I’ve seen a long line there around noon. The lady at the counter was super friendly and the quality of the beef was very good. Their bbq sauce is also very nice. Will definitely go back!

Great selection of options for a lunch run. Personally I am not a big roast beef person and usually go with either the crispy chicken sandwich or the thanksgiving sandwich(turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and mayo — yum!) They have the best crinkle cut fries around — nice and crispy! Hectic at lunch time but calling ahead cuts your wait…

The best item on the menu is the crinkle fries. Absolute best fries around. The roast beef is good, but sometimes on the dry side. On busy days parking can be a challenge.

I’m from EP, so I don’t think I could say anything bad about Miller’s. It’s against code or something isn’t it?! Miller’s has been there since I was a kid, and it’s been the same as long as I can remember. I still love the same roast beef with cheese and mayo… I won’t say there is nothing better out there, because I haven’t tried every roast beef sandwich out there — but for a good hometown roast beef place close to home– Miller’s is my go to.

As far as the roast beef sandwich shops go, this is no Kelly’s of Revere Beach fame outside Boston. That said, for your options in RI, Miller’s is much better than Walt’s. Not that Walt’s is bad, but Miller’s just has more of a homemade quality thing going on. They also offer a damn good pastrami, which is not something you can find that often — even in some of the better deli’s.
