Just your average family restaurant. The décor is mostly signs with corny little sayings like«I got a new set of golf clubs for my husband — best trade I ever made!» My friend really enjoyed his veggie omelette, even though they were out of two of the veggies it was supposed to include(artichoke hearts and broccoli). I ordered the«lumberjack special» — three eggs, three pancakes, your choice of meat, and home fries. The sausage links and home fries were just fine. The pancakes were serviceable — definitely on the heavy/dense side, but OK. My eggs, however, were not good. I ordered them«over medium» and they came out *barely* over easy — the whites were just set, and not cooked through at all. I can’t handle runny egg whites. Blechhh! Making eggs is Diner Cooking 101, and the place wasn’t busy, so really no excuse for this. The waitress was very pleasant, and when she heard about the eggs she offered to have them replaced, but I was already full(turns out I am not a lumberjack after all). I might go back, but wouldn’t go out of my way.

I was in the area and stopped in for breakfast. I enjoyed a good diner breakfast of fried eggs, well done home fries and rye toast. My breakfast came piping hot and was mostly to my liking. The home fries, though a bit greasy, were prepared with onions. Yum ! The coffee was plentiful. Service was friendly. Lots of regulars were chatting. It felt quaint and old-fashioned. The price was reasonable. I will be back the next time I am in the neighborhood.

Great breakfasts at reasonable prices. Still have glass ketchup bottles which is nice but pretty annoying at times and the manager often wears a short sleeve button down shirt with a tie. That looses them a star but I still eat here every week.
