Way overpriced! Basically nothing is in the sandwich when you open it up. sometimes when I order the chicken salad /grilled chicken — the chicken is very chewy and sometimes pink(not fully cooked!)

We just catered a bagel breakfast for about 200 people at Bagel Express. Our condo wanted an «Open the season» breakfast. The food was fabulous. The bagels were delicious and so were the giant bialys. We ordered all kinds of cream cheese. Try the vanilla raisin cream cheese for a real treat. The cinnamon cream cheese, veggie, scallion were also wonderful. Can’t say enough for the compliments we received from the people stuffing their faces!

Best bagels! I always get a bagel with just butter or cream cheese because they are so good! Sunflower seed bagel is my fave but they are all amazing! Lots of good cream cheese flavors too!

One of the best Bagels I have had in Long Island. Also, it’s quite cheap. I would say its totally worth a try(and that’s all it takes to be addicted to it! ;P).

Worst bagel store on Long Island. Everyone is rude. It’s overpriced. How does a bagel store not know how to make over-easy eggs for a bacon egg and cheese!?? For something on the sandwich every time. They don’t listen when you speak. The owner who is usually at the register doesn’t look you in the eyes when he’s taking your money. Just keeps his eyes down… Unless you’re a cute college girl. Then he’ll make conversation. I’ve continued to give them second, third, fourth chances, problems every time. Strathmore Bagels next to Ace hardware is a million times better and they are very nice people! Boycott rude, overpriced, low quality, conniving Bagel Express.

Wildly overpriced. Spent $ 15 on 2 breakfast sandwiches and when we asked the woman who rang us up how that could be she went through this whole big display to show us how our breakfast really should have cost $ 17and that she was actually helping us. If I had opened my breakfast there I would have asked for my money back, there was almost nothing on the sandwiches. Defiantly lost patronage. Bring back one if. This place is a rip!

Amazing food, quick service, and live music when I was there that was really good and gave a coffee shop feel. Tons of choices. I went with the French toast bagel with chocolate chip cream cheese and best decision of the day!

This place is ok, the bagels are really doughy and they don’t take debit cards. I’ll come here when the line at the other bagel place is long. Over the winter, I got into a scuffle on line. I’m standing on a long line waiting my turn. The counter girl says who’s next and the guy behind me starts rattling off his order. I politely corrected him and said, excuse me I’m next. He says in the most sarcastic tone, Well excuuuuuuse me. You’re next. If you act like this in Setauket, people have manners and won’t offer resistance. Try that tone in Brooklyn. Even better? Try that tone with me. I kinda snapped online and got in his face. Friggin’ rude hoser. Fratelli’s Bagel Express. Do me a favor and don’t express the bagels. Let them cook a little bit longer, don’t be in such a rush. And always be polite on line.

Very overpriced. They got greedy and upped the prices on what they sell, but the menu they have at the counter doesn’t reflect what they charge. I shouldn’t have to pay $ 3 with tax for a bagel with plain cream cheese, especially when an individual bagel costs $ 1. I’m extremely disappointed.

This bagel joint is one of the better one I’ve been to and I looove mah bagels! The biggest thing that sets this bagel shop apart from other bagel slingers in town is that Fratelli’s BAKES their bagels instead of boiling them. If you never knew that bagels could be made differently well now you know! Boiled bagels are usually smaller, very tough on the outside and the inside isn’t very fluffy. That ain’t the case here though! You get big big pumped up bagels that looks like they’re gonna fly away! Very good! Around the corner from the counter is a nice seating area with about 10 tables. Outdoor seating when the weather is nice also! Now you might laugh at me for pointing this out but it something you don’t think about until your already sitting down. They place napkins, salt & pepper and ketchup on the table! Score! They offer a self serve coffee area and a self serve soup area as well. The two stars I docked: They don’t take cards. It’s kind of REALLY annoying and they don’t have an ATM either! What the heck? I know lots of delis and bagel stores usually stick to just cash but they always at least have an ATM. The food can get a little pricey. I just get a buttered bagel and a drink and it’s usually around $ 3-$ 4. My friend gets an egg sandwich with the works and a drink and it’s usually upwards of $ 10 — $ 12. That’s kind of a big deal! Other than that I really enjoy the food, the staff and the atmosphere here.

The place was jumping but there was alot of staff and super fast service on a weekend morning. Pretty good bagels. Not perfect. My qualms 1) the everything mix was a little onion heavy, light on salt and garlic. 2) a little on the sweet side, perhaps a nod to the Montréal style? It’s still got the shape and texture of a NY Bagel but I thought there was a little sweetness in the dough. Still pretty good though. Going to have to try some more, in the name of research.

Bagels and egg sandwiches are on point! Bagel express was the bagel spot for my years at stony Brook. You see the same people working every time you go in and they know you by name. The bagels are so flavorful and have the perfect density. Top one with bacon, egg, and cheese and its pure breakfast bliss. You also get a free coffee or oj with your breakfast sandwich. I would go there every morning and it would never get old! They are also extremely involved with stony brook. It’s nice to see a company who supports its community!

terrible customer transaction. food was good but when you call them when obviously theres a problem with the order they sound like a rude defensive mob. Not even one employee would take my issue seriously. It does not take 4 employees with bad attitudes to find a sausage patty. OVERALLUNPLEASANTEXPERIENCE.

I got the bacon cheddar bagel and it tasted like the smell of play-doh. I had to throw it out. couldn’t even eat the eggs off of it, it tasted so bad. I also got cream cheese to go and it was better than the bagel but that is because it had no taste whatsoever

Bagels were ok and good cream cheese selection. Most expensive bagel place I’ve ever been to. Decent sitting area. Biggest drawback was the staff’s attitude

Great place This place is a short detour off my morning commute so very convenient. The staff is very friendly and energetic and the bagels are excellent. They have some good varieties of cream cheese. They work to cater to the local community which is something you don’t always get in this area. Personally I just get the bagels since they are star of the show, but I’ve seen people eating omelets etc on site.

This is first bagel with egg salad and rice pudding I tried. The bagel is so soft and hard. It is huge and amazing. I spent around $ 10. I like it.

Amazing and huge bagels. We love their veggie cream cheese. They say it is «lite» but come on. It tastes so good. Yes right. Haven’t had anything else there because friends say the bagels are the best, so I stick with that! Get em while they are hot!
