One of the pizza places that i come to alot. Their buffalo chicken pizza is one of their best pizzas and the garlic knots are amazing. The ziti slices are also very good. I like trying different types of specialty toppings but the mac and cheese slice was nasty. It tastes like they dumped boxed mac and cheese on it. My friend got their wings and they were a very big disappointment, but i usually just stick to pizza when i come here.

This was probably the worst pizza I have ever eaten. I grew up in Brooklyn, NY and have eaten A LOT of pizza in my life. I have eaten pizza from more pizzerias than an average New Yorker, I can honestly say. The crust was soo dry and it literally was cracking apart. The cheese was horrible and I honestly don’t know what kind of sauce was inside my pizza, but it definitely did not belong inside of it. I can confidently say this place should not be called a pizzeria since what I ate and was charged an extremely high price for was NOT pizza. Well of course this is just my opinion on the pizza I ate and on the bright side, the slices I ate were larger than average size.

Decent pizza. Decent spot in general. Probably the 2nd best pizza in town behind Via. Definitely better than Joe’s and Station tho. Best delivery pizza in Setauket for sure. Basic in every way tho. It’s average pizza. 3 stars.

I grew up in the area — used to frequent this place when it was Anthony’s pizzeria back in the day. Luigi’s is nothing short of a great local Italian pizzeria. We come here often with our boys for an end-of-week slice. The pizza is a great rendition of NY/LI tradition; sauce is savory, crust is crisp, cheese is ample. They have the new CocaCola machines where you can choose your own soda flavor. The garlic knots are absurdly delicious with tons of fresh garlic. Jamie and the staff are the best. Everyone is SONICE! If you’re looking for a «go-to» local pizzeria, Luigi’s is the best in the three villages. Give it a try!

this place has been around for a while. i remember coming here after soccer practice back in the 90s– when they had a smoking and non smoking section in the restaurant area. but all nostalgia aside, this place has always just been«ok», I never remember it being particularly good. got two pies here recently, and luigi’s legendary mediocrity has been reestablished.

Ordered chicken cutlet Parmesan entrée. It came with a salad. Salad was medium sized with fresh, crisp vegetables. House Italian dressing was mild, not too potent. No complimentary bread included. Entrée had two crispy breaded, tasty fresh thin chicken cutlets. Sauce was very flavorful, no big chunks of tomatoes. Mozzarella cheese was of fine quality, not processed. Restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Music was on, but it was at a nice level, it wasn’t blasting loud like some restaurants. Wait staff was OK. Prices were typical. $ 15 – 20 for an entrée. I’d definitely return.

The pizza is great! Fresh crust. Tasty toppings. But when I have a big party I have to order a tray of the Greek salad. It is a huge hit and there is never any leftovers.

This place has gone down hill in a hurry. The crust tasted like it was from a chain. The toppings lacked flavor as did the sauce. On a margarita pizza they don’t even use real buffalo mozzarella. The sausage had little to no flavor. Too many solid pizza choices in the area to go here.

Must say probably one of the worst pizza places I have had the opportunity to visit. Ordered the Luigi salad and some chicken noodle soup. I am pretty sure the salad was premade and the lettuce treated like dirt. The artichoke hearts were mushy and tasted like they were rotten. This salad got thrown in the garbage. The soup was OK but a little salty

This has been my go to place for pizza for over 20 years… maybe the owners have changed over the years, but it’s still the best pizza around in my opinion.

Good pizza place close to sbu. Garlic knot slice & roni wheel slice are unique and awesome. you might wonder why youre paying over $ 4 a slice for this but trust me 1 slice and you’ll be good. Grandma and sicilian are a must also. Plus they have beer!

Every time i go here, the pizza is so bland& charred, its burning fire lava hot and burnt brown on the bottom. I fold my slice in half and it just cracks in pieces. No bueno. I dont recommend eating here.

Have only ordered pizza from this place so far but what an introduction! The meatlover’s pizza pie may be expensive(~21 dollars) but it’s hefty and will fill you and your friends up very easily, possibly for more than just a single night.

The pizza is good. Nothing extraordinary but pretty good. The slices are very large and they accept credit cards without a minimum. My favorite is the garlic knot slice. The garlic knots in the crust give it a little extra kick of flavor, get it with a side of sauce and dip away.

I’ve been a Luigi’s customer for a few years now, and although I enjoy their pizza, and their catering, I was disappointed with my visit the other night. It was about 6:30pm and business was VERY slow. Although there were quite a few employees behind the counter, I was unhappy with the condition of the dining area. Our table had soda spilled all over it, and there were lots of crumbs, napkins & straw wrappers on the floor. I had a hard time not approaching one of the teenagers behind the counter and asking them to pick up a broom. A message to Luigi’s: You have a good product, but you’re not the only place in town. It’s pricer to dine with you, and in order to keep your customers, you should put a little more effort into catering to them. Pun intended. You might want to consider visiting O Sole Mio and find out why they are so busy that they can’t keep their doors closed.

This is our go to pizza place for the kids. They like it here but its not my wifes favorite place. We’ll buy the kids their pizza here on a Friday night before going out to the movies. Its not a bad pizza, my wife & I like the pizza around the corner from our house. Sorri Luigi!

Eh. I decided to order a hero for lunch since it was mad prom season and couldn’t break from the work counter. Meatball hero was very disappointing in looks. Taste was eh. The bread was not toasted making the hero soggy from internal contents. To top it all off the cheese was no fully melted. You can still see the shredded cheese clumped together in a poor attempt in reheating the food. There was no peeling of the cheese off the wrapper or stretchy goodness from hero to mouth. Just«WTH is this this»? — «this» not a typo but an anagram.

This was our local pizza/pasta joint when we lived in the neighborhood. No complaints about the food. My wife loves the buffalo chicken pizza. Counter staff is courteous and efficient.

Decent pizza, avoid going after 6pm — that’s when they stop making individual slices. Their remaining slices gets ultra cold and not really edible. Otherwise a very comfy interior and wooden seating. Good place to bring your family. Now that Mario’s pizza(not far away) is in limbo status, many come here instead. Check out Luigi’s menu — they have a varied menu including a buffet. Haven’t tried it yet before. I just order individual slices. Try their buffalo chicken, and eggplant.
