Food was horrible. It was either cold, under cooked or just didn’t taste right. There was a thick layer of dust on top of the buffet. We were pretty disappointed. Looking for a nice night out with the family and ended up getting crappy food that definitely wasn’t worth the price. Won’t be returning there anytime soon.

Unfortunately you can’t offer less than one star. Terrible food! Everything has a strange flavor permeating it that matches whether the item is fried or not and wether it is meat or not. They even screwed up egg drop soup somehow. The waitress was a nice enough woman who came more frequently to remove unwanted plates moe often than you might see at other Asian buffets. I’m quite certain that had I opted to drink anything other than water I would have been charged for it. Hope the dangerous choices I’ve made today don’t impact me to badly in the near future.

A friend gave us a free dinner gift certificate to try it out. So glad I didn’t have to pay because it was really bad in so many ways. Food was only luke warm at best and looked like it had been out for days. What we did try tasted very mediocre and in the case of the fried rice absolutely gross. In this case free is not a good price! Beware.

This is the absolute worst Chinese buffet I ever been to!!! And just now the waitress was being Hella rude to my brother. It amazes me that there are people here because the food isn’t even warm. It’s cold gross Chinese food with cold temperature to add… we also had to get our own refill for the sodas. Like what is the point of tipping them if we have to do everything ourselves.

Atmosphere is cold and uninviting. Hispanic music playing as background. Limited salad choices, good selection of main dishes, we tried broccoli chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and fried rice. Very bland, generic, and cold. Almost no desert choices. We didn’t want seconds, so at $ 11 per person, which didn’t include soft drinks, we dropped $ 30 for a light lunch.

Why, oh why, did I not consult trusty Unilocal before eating at this place? I truly wish Unilocal allowed zero stars bc one star is very generous! Where to start? There is a fishy smell when you enter the restaurant-should have clued us in to leave. The food is so bland. I’m pretty sure that it is all frozen food that has been reheated and then set out on the buffet to die. Many items were cold(that should have been hot) and/or soggy(that should have been crisp). I’m seriously concerned that I may get food poisoning from here! Lastly, the whole place could use a thorough clean. The carpet is filthy and the buffet was quite dusty. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like! Fingers crossed I’m not puking rivers in the next few hours. Thank God my toddler decided he didn’t want lunch today! In summation: stay away; this place is beyond awful!

DISGUSTING! UNDERCOOKEDANDCOLD! Came in to find an unpleasant odor lurking at the door. After being«seated» we found 7 food bars! 3 were made up of deserts and snacks, 2 were bbq that costs extra $$, and the last 2 had the«Chinese». The sticky rice had been sitting around for several hours. The sweet and sour chicken was FRIED and discolored as well as a distinct the sauce being cold. Teriyaki chicken was rubbery and raw. One of the workers comped the food but not the drinks, only to have the manager come out to the parking lot screaming as we are about to pull out. I’ll be reporting them to the health department shortly. Tldr– cold uncooked food & rude management.

I have eaten here before, but it has been a couple of years. This place has really slipped. Everything tastes the same and the place smells of old cooking oil. When I wrote movie reviews 30 years ago as a cub reporter, I was told good reviews can be long but bad reviews should be short. So I’m done.

I’ve never been a fan of Super China Star Buffet, nor do I recommend it to anyone. So, what’s the deal? I’m glad you asked! Just like every other Super China Star Buffet experience, I’m notorious for being watched. I mean, I know I’m good lookin’ and all, but please, not while I’m eating. It’s important for me to have a Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez relationship with my food(minus the paparazzi). Advertisement: Your review will begin in 0:02 seconds. «Real people. Real reviews.» — Unilocal Of course, Super China Star Buffet isn’t Iron Chef material. However, it well overqualifies as a runner-up for season 3 of Food Network’s: Worst Cooks in America. Basically, it’s pretty obvious Super China Star Buffet doesn’t care ’bout quality, but insisted on makin’ money. Y’know, Chinese is a complicated language. I should look into Rosetta Stone, so that I can understand what is being said in front of me next time. I suppose I’ll never know what, «Wo xiwàng you yigè mòxige dàn juan.» means.

Has general Chinese Buffet items, nothing too special except for the Mongolian grill, when it’s actually manned by a human being. I never got to try the Mongolian grill that day… It must have also been a really slow day the day my hubby MJ and I went… everything just looked really old and unappetizing. ugh. I think that may be the last time I come here.

If you want to eat a ton of food for 10 bucks, this is the place to go. They have a «Mongolian grill» open most days. Which is by far the only reason I ever eat there. The rest of the food is over done, too greasy, and well pretty plain jane Chinese food. My wife loves it, but I love the grill, because I get my fill on that, she gets her fill on Sweet and Sour Chicken that I choke on, but heck. What did I say. 10 Bucks. All you can eat! Sweet. oh and they have soft serve at the end. Well worth it.

Super China Star is a pretty average Chinese buffet. The food is the standard Chinese buffet fare. You’ve got your sweet and sour pork, chow mein, a take on General Tso’s Chicken, fried rice, and so on. Like many buffets, temperature control can be an issue, so try and look for pans of food that have been recently placed as the old stuff tends to get cold and nasty. Overall, service is quite friendly and the prices are pretty low for all-you-can-eat.
