Tomatoe’s Pizza and Sports Bar

The pizza is good in this place. I tried the buffalo chicken pizza and the chicken is like the breaded one and it tastes good. These guys deliver as quick as possible. I would definitely love to eat food from this place.

Ordered a special pizza to go. Not bad NY style pizza. Would recommend and will go back.

I came across this place accidentally and cannot say enough good things about the food. The garlic knots are extremely fresh and tasty. The dry rub bone-​in wings are so much better than Buffalo Wild Wings (no lie). My only criticism is they don’t have Amstel Light (the beer drinker’s light beer), but I’m hoping if I frequent the joint enough times I will be able to change that! Although I didn’t have a salad, I did see one and it looked very fresh and delicious. I’m hoping to try one tomorrow night as I believe Sunday nights are trivia night. If you are looking for a casual place with fresh food (not frozen) and friendly service, then I highly recommend Tomatoes. You will not be disappointed.

Checked out this place and was very pleased. The outside and inside was very aesthetically pleasing and no matter the time people seemed to be inside. The staff was very welcoming and acknowledged me immediately. Service was fast with places to sit and wait as well as many tvs and a great sports bar section. Thought it was cool that the bar was separated from the restaurant side to serve any demographic appropriately and simultaneously. I had a classic cheeseburger and chicken fingers and it was delicious. :)

If you’re looking for a place to watch a game this is the spot. Plenty of TV’s with every sports package you can imagine. Golden Tee for the vidiots and a friendly staff serving cold drinks and great bar food.

Stopped in today after visiting u son and daughter in law, who just moved to SW. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, portions and service. I had manicotti and my husband had the sausage parmigiana. We ended up taking ½ home due to the large servings. They’re bread is all freshly made each day and their garlic knots were to die for! Prices were very reasonable;meals were $ 11.99 including salads. I know they’re newly opened July this year, but well worth the visit! Felt badly that more people don’t know of this place which is under new management. Give it a try!

A rare find in this part of Connecticut. Good New York style thin crust pizza. Picked up a couple of slices for lunch and was very satisfied. Staff was friendly and service was fast. I will definitely be back.

First time here since renovations and I really enjoyed my time here. Very clean, nice staff, good drink selection, and last, but not least great food. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area and/​or looking for somewhere new to go!

My wife and I just finished trying out Tomatoe’s, a new pizza/​sports bar in East Windsor. After taking over the location of the former Riverview Pizza, we were hoping the new place would have similarly good pizza. Not quite.
First, a bit on the atmosphere. The bar was fine, it’s a sports bar with TV’s and Juke Box, Golf game, etc.
Next, the bartender was likely on crack and actually did a bow and a «Thank You very much» upon leaving for the day — we had to close out right after ordering. This was after he overcharged me $ 4 for my pizza and couldn’t figure out how to credit me back… so I got a «free» beer. My wife ordered a pizza with Bacon, it came with ham. So we asked for bacon… they came back and asked «do you mind if we just take off the ham and put the bacon on there»… I know restaruants do that and it’s not a big deal… but we’ve never been asked. Just seemed like they are still figuring things out.
As for the pizza, the cheese was extremely thick and I did almost choke on chunks of cheese… twice. I think most pizza restaurants use a blend of cheese to keep it from being so chunky. After looking at the menu, we thought, hey this looks like they have a good thing going here. We were wrong, don’t make the same mistake we did.

What they did in here is truly amazing! Beautiful bar great food and the friendliest staff EVER. Will be coming here every Friday night! Amazing!
