ALLSTON, MA
much improved on the location that it once was. previous one burnt down. this one was rebuilt. transfer of ownership. They spruced it up some. It offers the general things you’d find in general stores, at higher prices. there are other options such as Eastham General. They make subs and other offerings, and they are pretty lackluster and the basic minimal inspired subs you’d find anywhere else. The location is sort of a bummer for this store. You have Ben and Jerry’s next door, which will fulfill your sweet and Sam’s Deli on your left. Basically this place is totally outranked

Truro, MA
Always come in for the sausage egg and cheese sandwich. While it’s nothing to rave about, it’s quick (already made), cheap ($ 2.50), and they taste pretty darn good. They’ve always got some nice deals on gatorades which is nice as well after a workout or practice. They also make regular sandwiches there, which are also pretty good, though I haven’t ordered them often. Overall, if you’re looking for a quick breakfast bite, this isn’t a terrible way to go. As Unilocal says, A-​OK.

Not so good sandwiches, overpriced, not a great selection, my friend got food poisoning twice from there soups, and some staff are rude…

West Newton, MA
Before going to one of the local beaches for the day stop into the Village Green general store for one of their take out sandwiches. The store has everything you will need for a day at the beach or supplies when renting a vacation cottage. The place is small but it’s right off route six and they are not that expensive. They also sell great cuts of meat for a BBQ. The store itself has been there for many years and I’m glad to see they are still there.

Village Green is great for the people of Eastham and Wellfleet. It definitely carries the basics that you’re looking for, like milk and snacks. They have a pretty good beverage selection, as well. Lastly, they also carry personal items you might have forgotten, like lotion or shampoo. Overall a friendly bunch and very convenient.

A very cute little general store. Has a good selection of grocery items that you’ll need so you don’t have to drag yourself to the big supermarkets. Very high quality selection of deli meats. Very tasty. Very friendly staff, I believe it’s family owned, which is a plus. Love coming here when me and the BF come down to the Cape
