No(working) air conditioning makes it a terrible environment. The employees trained response all summer was that they have been working to fix it– yeah right! They also closed their Orleans location without notice and did not offer refunds for those with memberships. What a scam! You think they would learn after the tax fraud that caused them to lose the other gym. Try another gym! Body strong opens in Orleans soon.

Great for kids. Good price. Pool, kids area, gym, rock climbing, classes, indoor turf field, and wall ball courts! Even a spa! No food service though

I really used to look forward to coming to Willy’s when spending time down the Cape. I’ve been coming for many years and have see the facility and programs decline so rapidly. Half of the cardio equipment is broken, there are rusty weight machines, the locker rooms are shabby and despite there being TVs linked a lot of the cardio equipment, very few of them produce audio and video simultaneously. They tried to take away the group fitness classes last year at one location which are necessary when you have have too much broken equipment to accommodate your clientele. The space and the facilities are really conducive to a great gym, but the upkeep is incredibly disappointing. Money spent on things like a decrepit/ever-changing bar/café the money should be spent on maintaining what people are coming here for– the workout equipment. The fact that they’re really the only game in town is what keeps us coming back. The prices are extortionate given the quality of the space. They’re ridiculous even for a regular, nice and clean gym. Over $ 100 a month is just absurd, and if they feel comfortable charging that, they should be better at serving their clientele. Even luxury gyms with tons of perks do not charge that much. I hope Willy’s Eastham can return to their former glory. At this point, I wouldn’t recommend paying to come here unless you’ve got no other choice.

I have really, really tried to give this gym the benefit of the doubt but after leaving today because the AC and water weren’t running and the entire weight room was full of fumes from an employee spray painting a door during open hours, I had to write this review. — This is a terribly run establishment. The AC is seldom running and when it is only on low making the gym area hot and humid. The equipment is old and run down. Things are often broken(lights, running water, equipment, ect.) or missing(sanitary wipes/spray, paper towels, hand soap, ect.). There are some good people that work there but most of the best have left because there is a reputation for employees/contractors not getting paid. If it wasn’t the only gym in Eastham it would have gone under years ago.

I’ve really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but damn this place just makes me angry. I’ve been coming here every summer for about 7 years and am always a little surprised that it has continued to chug along. There is really only one reason that it continues to survive: competition — there is none. The often open late — 30 minutes late 3 times so far this week, the bathrooms in prison are more appealing then the locker rooms here, the pool is cloudy, the place is dirty, grimy, dilapidated, chronically understaffed. In the last couple yeas they have removed their pool life guard, done away with towel service, and the owner has been indicted by either local or federal authorities — google it. So why do I keep coming? Driving 30 minutes to get here? They have the only 25meter pool on the cape, and the rail trail is out the back door. That’s it. Those two reasons. I hate myself for putting up with it but as I said above, there are no other options. And that, simply stated is pretty much the only reason they survive: they have the only game in town.

Twice I won a free week at this gym at the Windmill Weekend. Ooops, could only use it in the winter when I am not there. What a prize. Would not make an exception at all. It was laughable.

Everyone who spends time on the Cape should know about Willy’s. It’s great for simple drop-ins which is a huge bonus for families with young children who need a place to romp around on non-beach days. Older kids will enjoy the indoor pool and possibly the indoor soccer field. Quite a tennis scene here too, and the crossfit/weight room/rock wall are pretty top-notch.

Waste of Time for Tennis! I drove 30 miles to visit the supposedly well stocked pro-shop only to find it ha been turned into a storage closet. The website is misleading! The person that was meant to be the expert stringer didn’t seem to care that he only had some pink over grips to offer, instead of the wide selection mentioned on their website. In addition, the SUBWAY restaurant that is prominently advertised on the outside of the building has not existed since July 2013. These two great inconsistencies make me worry about the validity of any of their offerings.

I am reviewing the cardio, weight area, and locker room only. This is a very dirty gym with very old equipment. Also, I think I was the only person wiping down the equipment after I finished using it. The reason being that the white wipes they provide turned black. I purchased a two week membership and lasted a week. Just terrible.

When I travel to the Cape, this is my workout sanctuary! Hot tubs in the locker room are magnificent, and the pool is beautiful. The variety of activities they offer is really impressive: tennis, indoor turf field, climbing wall, raquet ball, squash, tons of machines and free weights. You can even have a drink and a massage after your workout. It’s the best.

I was at Willys Gym last week, what a cool place. This place has just about everything you could want. Even rock climbing and an indoor turf area. The weight and cardio section have everything you could imagine. I will be going back when I am traveling that way next time.

This Willy’s Gym health club is wonky! [sorry to make fun of Willy Wonka, one of my fav childhood movies] Dirty locker rooms, unresponsive management/owner, swimming pool that’s been without a heater for almost 2 weeks(if I wanted my daughter to swim in cold water, we’d be swimming in the bay – and it just might be warmer there!), and it’s costly. They’ve discontinued towel service(just what I need, transporting towels back and forth and more laundry), and yet they’ve decided to tack on a yearly«maintenance fee» on top of the monthly charges. Geeze, give your members a break! If this wasn’t the only full club in the area, they’d never make it. Go if you must, but just know what you’re getting.(hopefully not athlete’s foot!)

A review from someone who use to work there. First the good(trying to keep it positive before we nose-dive) The facility is absolutely huge and has everything you can imagine. They’re they only gym with a salt water pool(which is also huge), and if your kid is having a birthday party, it’s probably a good pick(keep reading)… And here we go… Willy’s Gym is one of the most poorly run businesses I’ve ever seen. In my current job I work with tons of businesses(literally close to 300) and get to know how they work from the front and back end. Willy’s is a disaster waiting to implode. They do not pay their employees and several businesses near Willy’s actually post signs saying they do not accept checks from Willy’s Gym. There is a major problem at WIlly’s when it comes to cleanliness. This is likely not the falt of the staff, but the fact that there is a lack of staff. When a business fails, whether it literally closes its doors or just simply slugs along; responsibility always comes back to the owner. I do not know Barbara as a person and have been told by many that she is very kind. As a business person, however, she really needs to accept that people have strengths and weaknesses… and business is not her strength. This is not a dig, it’s a reality. Sometimes a CEO’s biggest asset is their ability to identify their own weakness. I hate writing bad reviews and try to end on a positive note, but Willy’s needs a massive makeover which would require the owner to put control into the hands of a magician. The other reality the business needs to wake-up to is that when you buy a massive SUV, get your logo plastered all over it, and then bounce your employees paychecks week after week… that is NOT cool. Finally, I have to say that in the beginning of this review I mentioned it would be a great place for birthday parties. It disturbes me to say I know a few customers who complained of smells of urine and well… let’s just call it etc. coming from the kids play room. I hope Willy’s is able to make an amazing come-back, but right now that seems near impossible.

Willy’s used to be a great place, but in the last few years it’s gone downhill. Last year you had to bring your own lock for the lockers now no towels unless you pay by the year, which means people that only pay for a couple of months during the summer have to bring their own. At over $ 90 a month, that seems a bit ridiculous. Also, they haven’t upgraded their equipment in 3 years. If you are in Orleans, try Fitness Revolution. It’s a much better gym for the price

My enormous muscles were getting atrophied over the Thanksgiving weekend so I decided to get a day pass to Willy’s. It’s in a very quaint little town in Cape Cod called Eastham. I was totally expecting some little rinky-dink weightroom with a couple of treadmills, but this place was bigger and had more machines than almost any gym I’ve been to. They have a pool, rock climbing wall, a restaurant and a BAR! Yes, you can do some bench presses and have a cocktail in between. $ 20 for a day pass is a little steep, but it’s a pretty nice facility. PS. Ice cream cake and cookies are not the best pre-workout food, I found out.
