The Art Bar Cafe

Unfortunately, this place is closed! We walked around the building following the signs for the bar only to find a staff person at the massage school wondering who was walking through the otherwise empty building.

Awesome space inside the massage school! Great food and drink selection. Head down on a Friday night with friends and have a good time!

This place is a hidden gem. It’s tucked away in the back of a beautiful civil war era brick schoolhouse. Excellent music, played at a reasonable level, fresh creative cocktails that use premium booze at very reasonable prices, and best of all their organic rice bowls and fresh baked focaccia panninis. (Seriously questioning my spelling of those last 2 words). Also, their beer is local, High and Mighty Brewery apparently from down the street. A really nice place for when you want to go out and have a drink, but you want to be civilized about it. The only negative is that they’re only open Friday and Saturday nights. Too bad, I could live on the rice bowls.

Great beer and wine … some cocktails too. Yummy bread for dipping too. Nice energy … bring a few friends or just that special one! but def check it out… nice addition to the options in Easthampton!

Very cool spot in the same building as the Northampton School of Massage. The building itself is really amazing, built during the civil war, you can really feel the history, and soul of the space. Upon entering the Art Bar I was greeted by one of the owners Valerie, who is amazingly sweet. Making tasty panini’s, fresh focaccia and rice bowls everyday. They also have a great selection of baked goods, making the Art Bar a great spot for desert. Many of the wines, beers, and liquors are local and very affordable. Seating is limited, but very comfortable. The Art Bar is a great addition to Easthampton, and will surely be a spot for locals to hang out, catch up and enjoy a cocktail.
