It is always interesting to see how other stores operate and are laid out. The produce dept is huge offering decent pricing and their bakery selections are varied and offer choices for people on a budget. Their deli is understaffed. Their seafood dept is amazing, great presentation and nice choices of premium seafood. Their aisles are well laid out. Things I don’t like about this store: The cashier didn’t greet me or ask if i found everything ok. Neither did she say have a good day. I know that they are paid to do their job and if corporate audits the customer service dept, they will find it flawed and pathetic. You pay for the atmosphere while you shop, their quality is good and their employees are trained. I would have rather a self-check out. The people who work here are a pathetic excuse for the hannaford name. Nothing like the stores in ME, NH or central ma.

This is one of the better Hannaford supermarkets. It seems kind of snobby though. I wouldn’t go singing Footloose in there.

I’ve always shopped at either Roche Bros. or Shaw’s until this past year, when we moved and decided that the trip to Hannaford was much more convenient and way less expensive than Roche Bros. I’ve never had any problems with employees not being helpful here… being a grocery store novice, every time I go, I wind up asking a question or two, and the staff kindly points me in the right direction. We really like the Hannaford brand products and the layout of the store. The cashiers pack all of my items in the reusable bags I bring and the turnstile to pick them up is way better than the end of a dirty belt. Hannaford has become my go-to grocery mart in town.

Once I discovered Hannaford a few weeks ago, I feel like no other grocery comes close to it’s service, upscale aesthetics, and price. I’ve started driving out of my way from Mansfield to Easton(Mansfield has 2 major grocery stores) just to go to Hannafords! They have a beautiful produce department with unique fruits and vegetables such as aloe leaf plants and dark colored bananas(description said they tasted like raspberry-bananas). They have a large selection of healthy items and gluten free items as well. I especially enjoy the deli/meat department. Lots of yummy unique deli-meat flavors behind the counter and fresh hot prepared food as well. They have everything from your typical cole-slaw to asian inspired creations already hot and ready to go for a perfect lunch or snack. And the prices are cheap! I love it. And you don’t need a preferred shoppers card to shop here which is even better because I tend to forget mine whenever I go out or change my wallet.

I’ve just come back from my maiden voyage of shopping at this Hannaford’s. Being located in dear sweet Easton, I was hoping that there would be a higher class of shoppers; and yes, they were better dressed. But just as oblivious as any other market. People twirl their shopping carts without looking first –so what if you’re in the way and get banged in to?; And, I saw many instances where people just plop their cart in the middle of an aisle like they were the only one in the store. So what if nobody else can get by? Actually, these situations are made worse at this Hannaford’s because the aisles are narrower, and there are tons of display things clustered in the way everywhere throughout the store.

I used to shop exclusively at Shaws, but not anymore. I go to this Hannaford every Sunday afternoon, and I love it. Prices are quite low– I left with 9 bags of groceries, enough to feed me and my cat for the next two weeks, and I only spent $ 76. They have a large selection of store brands, and these products are quite good in addition to being a great value. I’d say at least 60%-70% of the items I buy are store brand. I especially like the Hannaford cold cuts, such as sliced ham and roast beef– they taste just as good as the name brand versions yet are over a dollar less. This is almost a 25% savings! The employees are friendly, the store is usually very clean, and even though they seem to be always busy there is plenty of parking.

Great selection of organic products. The meat counter is great for fresh meats & the desert aisle is fantastic… everyone raves about the fresh fruit pie & chocolate bomb cake! Clean and well maintained.

I’m at a client down on Warner and this is pretty much the only place we go for lunch. I can’t comment on the groceries(besides the fact I’ve bought a couple boxes of Wheat Thins), but they DO have peach citrus flavored Fresca by the box, so that’s AWESOME. My review is for the deli section. I’ve had a variety of pretty much every grill panini sandwich they have, and they are all really really good, great portion, and even better price. You can even take a cold pre-made panini out of the fridge area and they will grill it hot for you. I reccomend the meatball and provolone, or the chicken and bacon caesar. The staff is all really really nice. While waiting for our food, we were asked three times by different people if we needed help or needed anything else. On top of that, ym panini grill was just 4.95, a bag of kettle chips(sea salt + vinegar) 99cents, and a vitamin water 1.25. That’s a really great deal for great customer service. 100% agree with Jim W.

Nice Grocery, independently rated as second cheapest grocery in New England(behind Market Basket). Good selection, good prices. Friendliest employees, meat counter, seafood counter. When all the employees you chat with are friendly and in a good mood, that speaks volumes for a business or company. I’d rather spend my hard-earned money at a business that treats it’s people well. Recommended.
