Went to Sears A&H Store to purchase a washer,
Dryer and refrigerator. .while talking to the sales person about these appliances (features, benefits, exterior dimensions for location fit, etc.) A guy walks up and says he needs a water heater… sales person walks away and starts working with this guy… initially I thought the sales person was just showing the guy where thewater heaters were located.
I left and went to the Lowes in Easton on Birkland… purchased all 3 units… delivered for free… Sears was going to charge me a delivery fee… and i purchased identical units to those I looked at, at Sears, for less at Lowes.
This along with the terrible service i received or rather never received from Sears on my in warranty Kenmore Elite refrigerator is why I
No longer shop at Sears

This Sears Hardware location is a bit larger than most, with a decent sized appliance department. We went in to pick up an online purchase; they found the box quickly and had us out the door in minutes. Can’t beat that!
We did browse through the tool sections earlier. It’s what you’d expect. Sears is having some crazy deals on Saturday mornings that mimic what they will have for Black Friday. So that’ll help you up until Thanksgiving 2009 — but otherwise it’ll be the standard Sears sales.
