My group visited on New Year’s Eve as we have in the past years. The menu seemed to reflect a different less that exciting selection. Two of us ordered the prime rib, when it arrived it was a very slim English cut and grilled. We evidently didn’t read the menu closely, even though the meal was not well presented, nor was it very tender. The chicken was very dry and the shrimp meal was limited to 3 small shrimp, quite sparse. Looking for a new place to celebrate.

I have never had a bad meal. When I eat at the Inn I find myself checking out the meals being delivered to the other patrons, with envy. Tim and Bobby really know what they’re doing. Check the activities the Inn supports and offer. The Opera Nights are fun, entertaining. Monty will greet you when you arrive. The love begins.

Cute little Inn in the middle of New Hampshire. My partner and I arrived on Saturday and were warmly greeted by the owner Tim. He gave us a short little tour of the Inn and made us feel right at home. Our dog was with us and she was warmly welcomed foo. The chef came outside to greet us as well. We were taken to our room and settled in. I grabbed our dog who met up with the Inn dog Monty. We decided to go for a short hike around the corner from the Inn. Breath-taking views of Mt. Washington and the vast land below. There is a cute little white church across the street from the Inn that is the most photographed church in New England. Not a lot to do in this community but ideal if you just want to get away. We went to dinner. Being that we are from Boston it is best to know that dinner is served early such as 6:00 pm instead of Boston time which is generally 8:00 pm. The staff were wonderful and made us feel right at home.

I really wasn’t expecting much from a pub in the middle of nowhere in New Hampshire. After having eaten there over the weekend I can’t wait to go back! We were staying up in Conway and our friends found the Palmer House Pub and decided to give it a try. We sat downstairs, not in the pub, and I thought the décor was great. Not really my style but it fit the Inn so I have no reason to complain. I had the haddock, my fiancée had the special — a bacon wrapped filet. I tried hers and left nothing behind of mine. Both dishes were excellent. Well worth the price we paid. Excellent wine options as well. The service was great, we were greeted by the owner at the door, and they happily accommodated our party of 13. Great experience. My first time in Conway and we will be back next Summer, and hope to enjoy another great meal at the Inn At Crystal Lake. As far as the dog goes, we did notice him when we came in and thought it was strange, but he stayed upstairs so it didn’t bother us. We love dogs as well so again, no complaints.

We have a nearby vacation home and been visiting the area for 20 plus years. My wife’s family for several generations. This is quaint New England at its best! Cozy little pub — totally off the grid. Monty the dog is awesome! I am a dog lover but Monty even charmed my wife(a cat person). The food was good an the service fine. Not a cheap steak but not over priced. Go when u aren’t pressed for time an u want to kick back and relax.

I was in the area for a wedding and ate at the restaurant here the night before. Food descriptions on the menu looked pretty good, but the food was very underwhelming. The salad I received with my meal was warm and wilted — something that is unacceptable at a restaurant that charges $ 25-$ 30 for an entrée. I ordered the shrimp provencal and was very underwhelmed. When I go to a restaurant, I expect to get something that is much better than what I could cook at home. I could have easily made a better meal myself, and at $ 24 I should have received more than four measly shrimp in my pasta.

We call this«the hidden treasure» and always go when visiting family in New Hampshire. The food and atmosphere in the pub is delicious. Try the macaroni & cheese. I always like to see Monty, but do understand that some people may not like eating near a dog.

We came here two nights in a row! Sat in the dining room the first night and the pub the second night. The food was great – much better than the options in Conway. The dining room décor was a little stiff and too quiet. We liked the pub area better – plus Monty the dog greets you and will visit your table in the pub. I could see some people being turned off by this but we are dog people so we didn’t mind at all.
