A great place to get coffee! We buy a pound of either highlander grogg(which is very good), Carmel Nut Cream or Nutcracker coffee every week. All are great choices!

I like going to this place when I’m in this town. You know what? It’s the best place to get coffee in Eaton, OH. What does that mean? Not very much. The coffee is good, though. I think they have music and stuff sometimes, too. I’ve never been. As if. That’s going a little too far. Plus they serve alcohol. I don’t care, because I don’t drink. I like to go there during the day and eavesdrop, though. People talk real funny in the country. You know what? It’s probably a three star place, but just because there’s nothing else around, it seems really amazing. And there are ghosts. Like that’s why I went there, actually. I’ll go to any haunted business. Three stars overall. Like plus one star for where it is. What a real dump of a town, unless you like Walmart and guns. Plus one more star for being haunted. Nothing ghastly happened to me here, but it could and that’s enough for me! That makes five stars.

In the cultural wasteland known as Preble County, Ohio, Taffy’s stands alone as a shining star. It’s nationally recognized as one of the longest running independent coffee shop pub venues for music. Lots of craft brews and imports. Free wifi. Good people. No wonder I work out of there a lot. I can get an Irish coffee! Great music entertainment with a solid regional following.

Love Taffy’s. We stop every time we travel from Chicago to West Virginia to visit family. Worth it! The coffee is great and chocolate muffins bomb as hell.

As a working musician, I travel a lot, and see a lot of venues. Taffy’s is unique, and awesome. A small, intimate venue that really allows you to be up close and personal to the performers. The sound is great, and the vibe is very comfortable, in sort of a hippy kind of way. The owner is an interesting sort of fellow, and I can see how he’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I liked him quite a lot. They have a GREAT local/regional selection of beer and wine, as well as a lot of coffee and tea, all high quality. Their food menu is VERY limited, so for a full evening out, you might want to have dinner out beforehand and then head to Taffy’s for drinks and music. It’s well worth a visit.
