I am so sad and never thought I would ever make a negative review about this restaurant. And this is actually the 1st time I have ever posted a review. Before Saturday, I would have been raving. We have gone here for years and love there food. To make a long story short. My husband found a LIVE Beetle in his salad. We were very upset and a little grossed out. We know that this really could happen at any restaurant so my husband kindly went up to them to let them know and they were playing it off that it was nothing. Then the owner or manager(not sure who) walks over and is laughing saying«so I heard you ate a little extra protein» and went on to say that they buy all their lettuce pre packaged clean so it could still happen.(Then why was the bug still moving — I would think it would be dead). He denied that it was moving which means he didn’t even see the bug. I also started thinking that I buy pre packaged clean lettuce and I still clean it. And to go further, why wouldn’t he just apologize and say maybe we will begin to pre wash it again next time. I think we are more upset on how he handled the situation than even having the bug in our food. He did give us a free meal but that really didn’t change our mind and sadly they lost us as customers.

I’ve been here maybe ten times before last night. Over those times I’d have to say maybe two meals were good. All others were mediocre or worse. You may ask why would I return all those times if the food isn’t all that hot. I join a group of high school friends that insist on going to Illianos. Rather than not attend, I go despite their track record. Last night I joined my group at Illianos. We ordered calamari and a cold antipasto for the table. The antipasto was good with kalamata olives, mozzarella, provolone, prosciutto, & tomatoes. The group ate most of the calamari but there was a bunch left over. I didn’t ask them if they liked it but I thought it was just«ok». I ordered a scallop dish with tomatoes & asparagus over spinach fettuccine. Totally underwhelming. Very bland with no specific flavor jumping out at me although the scallops were juicy. I got to pay $ 30 for this entreé. This isn’t an isolated incident. Other times I had the lobster ravioli that was also bland. Their filet mignon dish is smothered with cheese and the fillets are about a quarter of an inch thick. This was anything but bland but was like a cheese drenched burger. The service was decent although there were only two or three other tables occupied during that Wednesday night. I will be suggesting other places for our next meeting because I feel the cost is way high for the quality of food you get.

Go for the lunch service which is fast, reasonable and good selection of italian favorites. My absolute go to dish is the calamari marinara which they can make without the pasta. They have chunks of nicely sauteed garlic which really makes the sauce. Service is fast and attentive during the lunch but I have tried their dinner service which was very slow. They had one server and a bus help but there was no attention to checking back with me and I constantly had to flag the server down for anything I needed. Stick to the lunch service here.

We had my mother in law’s 90th birthday celebration at Illiano’s. The antipasto, penne vodka and grilled salmon were delicious. The service was outstanding and the ambiance was very, very nice with a huge parking area. They are closed on Sunday, and only open for private parties. It was great to have the entire place to ourselves. We will certainly return when we are in the area. This place is a real hidden treasure.

The food here is simply amazing. The prices are good and the atmosphere is simply great. Only tried a couple of items on the menu but they are all good. Can’t wait to try more.

Excellent, professional service, nice family atmosphere. The salmon florentine was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The antipasto misto was also very yummy. There are a lot of good options on the menu, in particular the specials. There are also a lot of safe and somewhat boring choices on the menu that I would avoid.

I have to say that I was expecting much more from this eatery from all the good reviews I read here, but I was quite disappointed. The atmosphere is cafeteria/pizza without much charm or atmosphere. I would be OK with that but the prices reflect a fine dining establishment. Way overpriced dishes nearing the $ 30 mark — Salmon $ 28.00 ?? really??? that’s the least expensive fish item in most restaurants. Yes the portion was large, but the quality wasn’t. The roasted potatoes that came with some of the entrees were very bland as was the salad. I was hoping for a diamond in the rough, but all I got was a hit to my wallet.

We had a large group and needed dinner before an early evening event. We originally called for take out, but since they didn’t have a driver we went to the restaurant. They seated our party of 8(including 4 children) very quickly and were able to get the order in, feed us send us on our way with time to spare. Probably faster than we could’ve done it at the hotel. Servers were fantastic and the pizza was the same excellent crispy thin-crust pizza that New York and New Jersey are known for. I recommend eating in there if possible for the hottest and freshest pizza possible.

My family and I are frequent customers of this place for years. We used to get pizza just about every week from here, but now that everyone’s older and our schedules are all different, it usually turns out to be about once every three weeks to a month. The regular pizza is delicious; I have had better around here, but it is still REALLY good. The deep dish pan pizza, however, is second to none. It is legitimately some of the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life, ESPECIALLY with pepperoni on top. We will definitely be getting out pizza from here for a while down the road. As for the actual restaurant, my family and I also frequent there. We’ve gone to dinner there for countless graduations, birthdays, and so on. It could use some redecorating — lots of pastels, outdated furniture, and paintings. But to be honest, that isn’t that big of a deal for me because the food is still great. You start with some fresh, warm bread, right out of the oven. It has the slightest crunch on the outside, and then it’s soft and fluffy inside. Then you get complimentary bruschetta, usually one per person at the table. I kid you not, this is one of my favorite things to eat INTHEWORLD. I don’t know what they do to it, but it is SOGOOD. We always pick up some of tomato mixture on December 23rd to serve on top of bruschetta on Christmas. The rest of the food is really delicious. I’ve never had something I didn’t enjoy whenever we’ve eaten there, and that’s a lot of times! I’ve had better food at some places, but the food is still really great here. Pair that with excellent and friendly service, and that’s why it gets five stars from me. It’s BYOB by the way!

This place is pretty much a cafeteria for the surrounding office buildings. There is nothing attractive about this place really. The food is good if you stick to their staple items. We made the mistake of ordering a fancy seafood lobster ravioli dish and it was so awful we couldn’t eat it. No offer to take it off the bill, we ended up paying 60 bucks for sodas.

You’d never know such a good place was hiding in a drab building surrounded by office parks! The chef and some of the servers are family and will welcome you warmly… and inside, the place is cozy and bright. The pizza is great, but we usually go all-out and have a real dinner there. Do the Jersey thing and bring a bottle of wine; enjoy it while you munch on some complimentary bruschetta, then a nice salad. Then maybe some warm bread from the pizza oven. We *always* get the Linguine with White Clam Sauce: a generous portion of FRESH littlenecks in the shell, in a silky-rich sauce. Hubby has to get the Flounder Francese(this may be an off-menu item); it’s big and fresh and buttery and — hey, wait, I’m starting to get full! But, no, we need a third dish! Shrimp(fra) Diavolo! Spicy, tomato-saucy big shrimp over pasta; a perfect counterpoint to the other two dishes. Italian-American heaven! Fuhgettabout dessert, just bring me that doggy bag!

Had to change my rating… our office hadn’t been there for a while because they are a little pricey for lunch(usually $ 15 per person once you factor in a drink, tax and tip — if you don’t get pizza) and the 6 of us all left kind of disappointed. I for one ordered a dish that didn’t taste fresh and was very displeased since it was my favorite dish there. I had given some of it to my coworkers to try and left the other half on my plate, I ate about 4 bites of it… but when I told the waitress, who told the owner, he didn’t so much as apologize or even offer me a free slice of pizza –and it was a $ 16 lunch special so I paid over $ 20 bucks for a bad lunch. We probably won’t be going back. Too bad, was one of our favorite spots.

We loved this little café. The food is awesome and if you come without a bottle of wine, the wonderful waitress will direct you to a local liquor store and hold your table. We stop here EVERYTIME we are in town.
