Unscrupulous manager, broken PS3 controllers obviously not «tested» as promised. Manager references «fine print» of returns policy, which clearly states return for refund within 7 days. Portions of the sign are actually obstructed by merchandise purposely stacked betwixt the registers and the sign itself. Manager DAN insulted me in front of my kids, a total coward with no expertise to reference. Buyer beware! Pawn America in Eau Claire has no problem selling you broken merchandise– and then– their manager will refuse to refund your money– despite their policy of refund within 7 days!

Its okay. Probably the best pawn store in Eau Claire. Just check the prices on ebay/​amazon before buying here. Video games are not cataloged, simply put on the shelf. Be sure to look, you could find one game for $ 35 and the exact same game for $ 20. I bought a PSP from the store a few years back and it had some cosmetic damage, but worked great. Then bought a PS Vita, which also worked great. I would recommend stopping in and looking at what they have if your bored. But like I said, check online first.
One of my biggest complaints was I called asking if they had a Xbox 360 hard drive converter, the lady said they did not. Went to Best Buy and bought a new one. Went into the store, had a much cheaper used one sitting on the shelf. Like I said, they don’t catalog some of there products, so you really have to look for yourself.

Overpriced, overpriced, overpriced. Need I say more. Camera lens selling at PA for $ 1350was missing $ 300 of normally included accessories (hood and mounting ring). The salesperson was willing to give me $ 75.00 off for the missing parts so I wandered to the camera store down the street and bought the same lens for $ 1250 brand new. Used Apple laptops selling for $ 100 less than new, used watches selling for more than they cost new from Sam’s club, and the list can go on, and on, and on.
Someone could make a good living by opening up an actual Pawn shop at that location with prices comensurate with used items that they are selling. In the time they have been here in EC, I have gone there at least once a month looking, but only made one small purchase. I don’t make enough money to buy the used items available in this shop.

Eh. If you are selling something, be prepared to wait. and wait. It’s funny how they have lots of staff wondering around. but they don’t seem to be in a hurry to help the customers. I go here because its big and new, but NOT for the fast pace or good customer service.

Many many over priced items (I.E $ 130 Nintendo game Selling on ebay for $ 75 all day.) Used tools selling for $ 5 cheaper then new.
Prices on video games are nonnegotiable
You need a key to use the bathroom
Parking lot is off another old Parking lot FULL of HUGE pot holes. Pawn America parking lot is nice/​new.
