Family owned seafood market. They sell fresh codfish, swordfish, clams, scallops and lobsters. They could also steam 2 lb littlenecks or clams. Prices are fair and a must seafood place to visit.

This review refers to the takeout menu, not the fresh fish. It’s seriously the best seafood I’ve had on MV. The fish and chips platter is amazing, as are the scallops. It’s definitely a bit on the pricier side, like most food on the island. But at least it’s worth it.

Loved this place! We were in Edgartown, came here to pick up lunch to eat by the water. All the food was super fresh and prices were much better than the places closer to the water. Guys were super nice! Food was delicious! !

We own a home in Edgartown and are seasonal residents from Boston. This seafood market is the best on island and should be understood as having the freshest fish you can imagine. Their lobster rolls are the most generous on island and are filled with meat. Their other take out items are great as well. This is a family business that is a pleasure to frequent. Deborah

Love me some fresh fish! Wild salmon at $ 22 a pound today. Hard to find and at a great price. They have an amazing selection. if you need fresh fish on MV come here.

You get what you pay for here! You pay a lot but you get the freshest fish available in the area unless you go 10 miles up the road to the boats. Good steamed lobsters, you can order ahead and pick them up. Also had day boat scallops, the freshest local tuna, the flounder, some wild salmon, and the clam chowder which was brothy but excellent. Again the fish varies in price and can go up to 30 $ a lb for some, but its worth it to get the best. Went here everyday on my last visit and i will return for sure!

FRESH, FRESH, FRESH. We definitely spent a lot of money here, for 2 pound lobsters and oysters — but nothing out of the ordinary for the freshness and quality. Everything was local to the vineyard! Our first time cooking lobster and shucking oysters, and OHMAN, the best we have ever had. I also LOVE the Menemsha Fish Market, but heard these two are related? Either way, both incredible. I will definitely be back here for more.

This place has the freshest fist in town, no doubt. They only put out what’s caught that morning, so you know if it isn’t there, it’s not work having. I love their smoked bluefish –the dip or the filet. That stuff is just delicious — smoky, briny, of-the-sea. Love it. Their bounty is always labeled well, with prices and where it was caught. Prices are pretty fair, considering the area and level of quality. I also love that this is just a no-frills market that caters to the locals and tourists alike. The service is efficient, helpful, and while I can’t say it’s ‘friendly’, I can say they’re genuine.

My hubby and I stayed in Edgartown last weekend but didn’t take our car to the island. I was looking forward to a trip to Menemsha to go to Larsen’s for oysters, but the bus ride would’ve added 2−½ hours to our Saturday(after transfers, etc.). We decided to try out Edgartown Seafood Market in the hopes of receiving the same quality of oysters that I am addicted to that are served up at Larsen’s. As we walked up to the entrance I was delighted to see that Edgartown Seafood is owned by the Larsen family — rejoice!!! I have been dreaming about Larsen’s oysters since discovering them in May and was SO pleased that I was able to get the same fresh, salty and delicious oysters from Edgartown Seafood. Yum! Service was great. I also tried the jambalya which was pretty good. Husband had stuffed clams which were also yummy. Since our family’s house is in Edgartown I will surely be back to Edgartown Seafood on my next visit!

Edgartown Seafood(ESF). Freshest seafood around. The Net Result gets all the writeups but IMOESF is better. Great lobster rolls and other prepared seafood as well. The spicey crab dip is well worth the trip.
