We looked for days for some unique, handmade, non-​mass-​produced pottery and we finally found it at Sheepscot River Pottery. Every piece of pottery is made in the studio next to the store and yet they have many different styles, colors and glazes. We bought porcelain coffee mugs with a blue-​green iridescent glaze that feel great in your hand for only $ 22. They also have a good selection of handmade-​in-​Maine jewelry, furniture and glassware.
Sheepscot River Pottery has a much better selection and better prices than Edgecomb Potters (down Route 27) and is well worth a visit.
