We stopped in here to eat our sandwiches from the famous place down the road. There is no more lake since the dam failed a decade ago. It’s more like Sherman marsh than lake but it’s a quiet respite on the road between Wiscasset and Bar Harbor. Have a picnic here and enjoy the green surroundings.
