Every time I exit in Edgerton I make a stop here. Seriously, it’s delicious. The place is always spotless(which tops my list for any fast food chain) and I’ve never had bad service here, knock on wood! The prices are good and they have a small dine in area if you don’t want to eat on the run. I recommend this stop during your travels to fuel up your car and appetite.

I admit, I was hesitant to eat here because it’s attached to a Shell gas station. I generally dislike any restaurant/chain located next to a gas station. Taco John’s is fast food, but good fast food! The nachos were quite large and had healthy toppings of ground beef, sour cream, guacamole, tomatoes, and black olives. They even mixed in red and green chips for the holidays. The tacos were decent, as were the mexi-rolls(but those were a little greasy). Not a stellar lunch, but good for a quick, on-the-go meal.

A great Taco Johns next to a gas station off 94 expressway. I had the stuffed burrito and it was way better than any kind you would get at Taco Bell. The only problem I have with this rare franchise taco option is that they have little side options just tots. I would rather just have fries. Still can’t beat taco johns

Worse service I have ever had at a fast food restaurant. Took 20 minutes to get our food and then we didn’t even get what we had ordered. I’m not normally not a picky person when it comes to good service but this was a horrible experience!

Good food, decent prices. Friendly service. I’ve stopped here several times heading into Wisconsin. Can’t beat the food for the price.

I ordered 10 tacos, I received 9. I even dug through the trash to double count my wrappers. Oh well, it was still only like $ 6 for 9 tacos and I ended up only eating 8 and throwing one away anyway.

I’m sorry… throw stones if you must, but I love Potato Oles. How can disk-like tater tots with seasoned salt be wrong??? That’s right, they can’t. Well…unless they’re soft and not crispy, which happened once. I nearly cried.

No service. I could have walked off with all the tables and chairs before anyone noticed. They weren’t nice so I did not. Didn’t even get the opportunity to eat there.

So, wtf is Taco John’s? Taco Johns is West-Mex, what’s the difference? I’m not really sure but I do know that they have their own way of serving up Mexican food. The restaurant itself kind of like TacoBell and I would think hits up the same target audience. They have their own little combos of whatever entrée you order, potatoe olé’s and a drink. The potatoe olé’s are like Burger King’s breakfast hashbrowns. Taco Johns also has a little salsa side bar with fresh tomatos, jalapenos, green and red salsa and hot sauce. On my way in, I had saw a sign of the burrito showdown. It involved the steak and rice burrito vs. the steak and potato burrito. Of course, I had to have both to see who was the top burrito. The steak and rice burrito was pretty good, though the rice was a bit undercooked, minor set back. However the steak and potato burrito failed to deliver. The showdown was over as quickly as it began. Steak and rice, ftw. Oh and don’t forget the churros. High five Taco Johns!
