This is a dive bar for real! Great people watching at night. Plus you really can’t beat the view of Sloans lake and the city at night. SUPER cheap drinks, but it’s cash only! Bring your ATM card or cash to this spot!

Worst place ever. They have a horrible owner. And the worst customer service ever. It’s dirty and the people are rude! Avoid at all costs!!!

Checked Lakeview lounge out last week with my good friend. We had a awesome time we went in thinking we were only gunna have a beer and then ended up chillin there for a couple hours. The service and deals on drinks are awesome, the locals are very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is perfect if ur just hanging with some friends looking to chill out and have some cheap drinks. This is one of the better dive bars I been too for sure!

Nice dive. Friendly service, decent selection. Nice crowd. Great view (too bad that they tinted the windows though). I’ll be back when I’m in the mood someday.

Great little dive bar with cheap beer, a juke box, Tornado foosball and a couple of pool tables. Get here while you can… these types of places are disappearing rapidly in the area to make room for gentrification. This could be a hipster book/​bicycle/​barber/​PBR bar in no time.

Wound up here last night for the first time when we realized we were going to miss last call at Sloan’s. My friends weren’t feelin the Providence, so we walked down to the Lakeview Lounge instead.
This place is a dive, plain and simple. But it’s a pretty good one. They have outdoor seating and you can see Sloan’s Lake from the bar. They open at 7am each day, so if you’re so inclined, you can head over here to get drunk and watch the sun rise. No matter what time of day you wind up here though, I can promise you that the drinks will be cheap. As you might expect, draft options are limited but they do offer Fat Tire which I was happy to see. And a big ol’ glass of it was around 2.50, so I’m certainly not going to complain about that. They also offer «mystery shots» for 2.50– 5 different bottles of liquor (no tequila) covered in paper bags, so not even the bartender knows what you’re going to get. I wasn’t brave enough to try one, but I’m intrigued, so maybe next time.
There are a couple pool tables, a foosball table, a pinball machine, and a jukebox. There’s even a fireplace. I’m very curious to know if it ever gets used. Cash only, but the drinks are so incredibly cheap it’s hardly an issue.

On a recent trip back to Denver we decided to re visit the good olé Lakeview Lounge. Holy Hell this place is as awesome as a dive as I remember. First, they have mystery shots wrapped in brown paper bags. Second, a pretty neat outdoor seating area that looks over several lanes of the lovely Sheridan Blvd, and Third a completely dumpy bathroom full of shit smells and peeling paint. Overall, I say this dumper is a okay in my book. The cleanest part of the place is the front windows that allows you to look past the traffic as mentioned before and into Sloans Lake and the Denver skyline. One of these years I’ll have to saddle up and watch the sunrise in this gloomy dive. I’ll put it on my bucket list.

The best dive bar in Edgewater, hands down. The staff is nice (unless you’re a dick), they allow dogs, and most of the people who hang out there know each other.
In fact, if not for the Lakeview Lounge, I’d still be miserable and single. I met my boyfriend there two years ago, and we now have an adorable little girl.
The only down side to the Lakeview is that they are a CASH ONLY bar. There is an ATM inside, however, and the fee is $ 2.00.
