Dr. Patel is a wonderful doctor. I became a patient soon after he opened this office in Edgewater. He is professional, kinda, friendly, intelligent, and truly cares about his patients. Anytime I’ve been to his office I’ve walked away feeling better just from having been there an interacting with him and his staff.
Unfortunately, it seems many people have also figured this out. The past three times I’ve tried to get an appointment when I’ve woken up not feeling well I’ve been unable to do so despite calling the office as soon as it opens. With a general care doctor, I think there is some expectation of being able to get day-​of appointments in the case that something happens and you start to not feel well throughout the day. I wish they saved a few slots each day for these types of situations as I end up having to go elsewhere.

I was able to get an appointment quickly and I didn’t have to wait in the waiting room for endless hours. Dr. Patel is wonderful. The assistant, I’m sorry, I didn’t get his name, he was wonderful as well. They are very friendly and professional. I recently moved in to the area and needed to find a general practitioner. One Hudson Medical Associates is it.
