Panera has always been my go to study spot, wherever I’d be in San Diego or here. So… this review is more about«is it a good place to get things done?(And some food)» type of review. The Panera here has a little area where there is a counter(seats 5), a small booth(seats 2) and a table(seats 3). I’m always at the counter either studying or what not. It seats 5, but I would say that’ll be a quite a squeeze. There are outlets at the counter which is awesome. The tables unfortunately don’t :(Overall, the area is a good. If you can concentrate with noise and people talking, this isn’t the best place for you. Once in a while you get those loud talkers or people who watch shows on their lap top… without head phones! Rare occasions, but it happens. Obviously, you’re more than welcome to sit at the other tables to do work but this place gets pretty packed in the afternoon so avoid I avoid the main area so I won’t get the«ugh we could be sitting and actually EATING at that table» glares.lol. Now onto the food… In the mornings, I go straight for the steel cut oatmeal. I love it! I substitute the pecan for apple chips and it’s the bomb. Today I went for«extra apple chips» and boy did they give me extra! lol. On afternoons I go for their chicken noodle soup with an apple. I’m a fan. I wished they brought back their chicken tortilla soup I had during my college days.(**I order at the kiosk and if you press«customize» a lot of different options pop up. You can also write specific instructions too). But the biggest plus… unlimited(dark roast) coffee!!! I’ve sat at panera for hours upon hours and none of the staff have given me attitude. Ever. Service can be a bit slow at times but friendly people none the less.

We went to Panera Bread for dinner on May 19 around 8pm and the attendant, Cecilia, was very rude and careless when we were ordering, I didn’t have a good experience ordering food. However, the food was delicious.

The lack of freshness food on this location was very disappointing. I have never tried Panera but my friend was bragging about the Mediterranean Quinoa so I decided to give it a try and decided to trow a black bean soup(overly seasoned with cumin) on my order.. Common Panera don’t try so hard to make simple food taste good and fresh. It doesn’t take much consciousness to do so. Shame on you.

Good family lunch spot! I ordered chicken noodles with stake arugula sandwich and was pretty good. I will come back more often!

Panera bread was one of my favorite places until it became way too crowded to get seating. The lines are too long too(good for them). This is true of any Panera location. Their sandwiches are amazing, the potato chips remind me of the cholesterol-inducing crunchy chips I used to eat back home in India and the soups are very filling. This specific location is also super great — it’s close home and also to the cinemas. What’s not to like?

This panera is a joke. I ordered a bagel which first they had gotten my order wrong and waited an extra 5 mins after receiving my order I received two completely burnt bagels. Since I work in the area I’m a frequent customer but I don’t have other food options. Management is very unapologetic for their mistakes. Do not recommend this location to anyone. Employees are rude, on their phones while working, and even though you are waiting they will look at you and ignore you.

The bus-buy, or waiter, or whoever he is(guy with the glasses) that brings the food outside is great!!! He was so quick and awesome!!! Made my experience much better! Had the chicken sandwich and broccoli cheddar soup. Oh man!!! I miss this place! Delicious! The dark roast coffee is good as well. Will be back.

We ordered food from this Panera location for a breakfast at work(about 30 people). The bagels, spreads, and pastries were nicely presented in an easy-to-carry box, and the bagels were all cut through. The quality was spot on and the service was very good. We ended our day with dinner at this location as well because, well, we’ve been eating a lot on a business trip this week, and we wanted something light. I got a soup and salad special with a chicken soup and tasty salad that hit the spot without being overly filling(okay so I snuck a roll and butter in there too). The ingredients were fresh and the food tasty. My colleague got a salad and half sandwich, and was equally satisfied. This is a good alternative for a reasonably healthy bite and the service at this location rocks.

Generally, Panera offers good and tasty food options(maybe a tad overpriced) with efficient service, and provides nutritional data so that customers may make informed choices, all in a cheerful and friendly atmosphere. This Panera location is the exception. Although the food quality seems similar to that found at other locations, staff and management seem to be lacking in efficiency and professionalism, as well as in cheerfulness and friendliness. After picking up food ordered online tonight, I returned home only to find that half the order was missing. I tried calling but they hung up on me twice. I returned to the location and drove around for a very long time before finding parking. I spoke to a manager about the missing items and, although reluctantly, he said he would correct the order. He did offer a feeble and snide excuse that they got very busy tonight. Prior visits here indicate that they are commonly this busy in the evenings, so the unsolicited excuse sounds hollow. You forget half an order and you run out of baguette? So, no efficient service, lack of quality contols, poor management, lacking in professionalism, and missing the cheerful and friendly atmosphere. Two stars for the food and one-half star for the staff and management.

I love you Panera but you need to do something about the people smoking while sitting in the outside seating. People are smoking despite the signs. And if you are a smoker reading this who smokes in the outside seating, CANYOUPLEASENOTSMOKE where people and children are sitting and eating.

For a quick bite to eat this place is great. They updated all their buzzers and come to the table with your food now. They have great healthy options. The service is great and everyone is super friendly! Sign up for a perks card you get free stuff! Their green tea infused with passion fruit is really good! They have great combos to pick from.

I am not a huge fan of Panera Bread when it comes to lunch. For the most part, if I am on the go and want quality bread with coffee this is the place for me over Starbucks. Recently, I walked into this location and my first thought was” Wow, what very busy location. Service must be great. ” It was indeed except for one thing. They ran out of coffee! What?! How does this happen? I was told to wait a few minutes and a fresh pot will be coming soon. Every customer after me also ordered coffee and 15 minutes later there was a crowd and an antsy crowd at that! The manager was aware of the situation because i saw she was helping the employee brew new coffee. Did I expect an apology from the employee or manager? Yes, I did! Neither of us received an apology. Finally at minute 18, we all had coffee! Panera, never run out of coffee again. Especially in the morning.

A chain, I know. I try not to frequent chains too much, but I had a meeting and this was the spot. With that, this Panera is not my favorite chain. The salad I had was decent, nothing I’d ever recommend and nothing I’d ever want again. It wasn’t cheap either. I had a meeting and decided to stay and work for a bit after and utilize the free wifi. The place is always crowded. Crazy. Barely any table space crowded. The coffee was nothing to speak of and overall, I really can’t get behind this Panera.
