After being seated, we ordered drinks and an app. I opened the the napkin roll to use the utensils, it was so gross there was a big piece of food stuck to the knife and fork. I had to wait about 10 minutes to request new ones. The hostess was hard of earring, she past our table several times and no luck getting her attention. The food was not as good as it used to be in prior years. We will not be going back!

So I have changed my mind about this steakhouse after some recent visits. Someone in the kitchen is making all the right moves now, and I hope it continues. We always sit at the bar, and service there is always swift and friendly. The last two visits I decided to indulge and get their prime rib which is offered in four different sizes. For $ 22.75, I got a perfectly roasted 12 oz piece of medium rare beef served on top of a puddle of au jus. As expected, the slice had some fat and a tiny bit of gristle, but nothing like I often get at other establishments. Meat was king here. It was so juicy and tender, and had a ton of beefy flavor. The crust was well seasoned, with just the right pow from some black pepper. I added both fresh horseradish and horseradish sauce which resulted in the perfect bite. Lots of time, the au jus served in restaurants doesn’t seem like it actually came from the slow roasting of a prime rib. It often lacks in depth and richness. Not the case here. I could have slurped the stuff down like soup. The price is crazy for such an indulgence especially when it comes with two sides and bread. I usually go for the all American Salad which is a sizable portion comprised of greens, cucumbers, bacon, cheese and tomatoes. For a starch, I get the fully loaded baked potato which is always perfectly tender but not mushy. Last night’s Prime Rib was probably the best I have had in a long long time. I barely ate my sides as I wanted to save all the room for the main star. I even managed to bring a nice chunk home for future nibbles. If you love this cut of meat and haven’t tried it yet, you must. The best and worst part is that it is available every day after 3:00 pm. Considering I usually only eat prime rib once or twice a year, I’m afraid this indulgence is going to go up a notch or two, knowing I can get this any time I want. Yikes.

I absolutely love this restaurant! My family and I go here all the time. It is run by a great management staff(Kelly is AWESOME!) and they have the best Prime Rib and surprisingly the ribs are amazing! The last time we were there last week we had a great waiter named Zack that was totally on point and made sure that everything was perfect and kept the drinks coming! EXCELLENT service!!!

Fantastic service. Really a model of how a restaurant should be run. You are greeted by many friendly people from the moment you walk in the front door until you are seated. Your server comes over immediately and gets your drink order and continues to provide great service throughout your meal. I’m talking about you, Nick! We came here after walking out of another local restaurant where we sat for 20 minutes and still hadn’t been greeted by our server. So glad we decided to come here instead. It was phenomenal.

When coming to an establishment that is labeled a STEAKHOUSE one would expect to find higher prices with well cut-well cooked steaks. This was my second chance retry for this place. Still not convinced that this is worthy of the Steakhouse moniker. T-bone first go was thin. And had the texture of suede. This time around the filet portion was all but missing and a lot gristle. Cheese fries looked like McDs fries with a splash of sour cream and a little bacon and a little cheese hurriedly warmed and brought to the table. Diner food quality — steakhouse prices.

I love this place, by far the best American food place around. Chicken tenders are fantastic… beer is always cold. Great place to watch a game.

This restaurant use to be really good, I ordered a filet med rare my wife ordered a steak and it came out rare she cut it up a few places and the server took it to get a new one they returned the same steak peices cut in half and chard black. I was fixing my my potato when they came and took my wife steak and noticed mine was well done I waited a while for the server but he didn’t come for a while he returned with my wife’s steak and asked how mine was I told him it was over done and was tough like chewing leather. He wanted to take it back but I didn’t wanted wait for the steak to cook so I said I would just eat it. The manager came over offered end to rebook our food he did take my steak off the bill and gave us a $ 5 certificate which we won’t use.

This is the place to go for great wings! They stack them on top of Freedom Fries and they are almost a meal in themselves if you grab some of that delicious bread with it

Great Food. Awesome atmosphere. Nicest bunch of people we’ve come across in a restaurant in a long time, maybe ever. We HIGHLY recommend this place. We are picky eaters and they had a solution for all of us. I would give 10 stars.

My family and I went to dinner about a week ago. We waited about half an hour to be seated. When we were seated, we were sat in the bar area. It was very loud. We sat for over 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. We placed our drink orders and 10 minutes later the drinks still weren’t there. I could have walked 3 feet away to the bar and gotten our sodas. Our waitress informed us that she was sorry we didn’t get our sodas. She asked someone else to bring them out and they must have forgotten. I have been here 3 times. Every time my steak has come out cooked improperly. This time was no different. I asked for a medium rare prime rib char grilled. I know how I like my steaks. I even said«have them cut a rare prime rib. Season it and char it for just 2 minutes each side. I want it brown on the outside but still just warm on the inside». Our waitress said she understood. After waiting another 45 minutes for our food to arrive of course my steak wasn’t char grilled. It was plain old prime rib. She obviously didn’t remember to order my steak the way I wanted because she placed it in front of me. I reminded her that I asked for it to be char grilled. It was taken back to the kitchen. Another 15 minutes later it comes out burnt. Like crispy crunchy burnt but this time it was char grilled. I was just done. I gave this place one more chance against my better judgement and it was such a disappointment. Obviously our waitress thought she wasn’t getting a tip from us(we left $ 20 even after the horrible service) cause she only came back to the table one more time. She did ask if everything was ok and she knew it wasn’t. I’m not sending my steak back for a 3rd time so they can mess with my food. When she dropped off our check she was sure to mention that we were not charged for our sodas because they took so long. Oh. And we asked about a military discount. Apparently they offer one but only if you are in uniform. My husband is in the army and doesn’t wear his uniform unless he is working. She said«do you have a hat or something you could wear?» No ma’am. He has an ID(I think it’s called a CAT card) showing is active status and rank. Anyone can grab a hat from Good Will. The ID makes him official. I don’t know any service member that wears a uniform unless they have to and would never wear part of one. I don’t know why this military discount thing bothers me so much. Maybe because it doesn’t make any sense. I have a lot of friends that swear by this place. They love it. I am a waitress at a steak house so I know how picky people are about their steaks. I like to think I give other restaurants many chances but after this meal I will not be back.

Absolutely love this place. Huge portions and great value for what you pay. We usually split the largest prime rib and we each get salads and a baked potato. Plenty of food and around $ 45 to stuff two people. My only complaint/advice is they charge a lot for random things– like $ 3 for a mug of hot water with lemons, no tea bag. Otherwise a great place, one of our favorites in edgewater!

I had never even heard of this place until my coworker mentioned it. Based on how my first trip went, I owe that guy a few drinks. The overall experience was outstanding. The food was really good. The service and attentiveness from our waitress was the best I’ve had in a restaurant in quite some time. The amibiance was pretty loud, but with two kids it was perfect for us. I’m usually very conscious about my kids singing, making noise or just doing ‘kid things’ in a restaurant. But here, the TV’s were on, folks were having general convos and there were a lot of other families there with kids, so we fit right in. Appetizers: Bread: Soft & sweet. With the added butter, they kind of reminded me of Hawaiian rolls. Old Bay Wings — Seasoning was perfect & wings were fried hard as we like them. The serving of wings in the basket could’ve been an entrée. BBQ Chicken Potato Skins — I don’t know who came up with the bright idea to throw BBQ chicken on potato skins, but these were on point. Potato skins were just right, not to soft but not too hard. Entrees: Filet Kabob w/loaded baked potato & house salad — The chunks of fillet mignon were tender and cooked exactly as I asked(medium well). The entire skewer of meat and vegetables was seasoned quite well and perfectly grilled. Crab stuffed flounder w/baked sweet potato & steamed broccoli —(Menu Special that night) I didn’t taste it, but I know that she was especially pleased with the flounder and the baked potato which had cinnamon & butter. Dessert: Strawberry Shortcake —(Menu Special that night) This was a little bit different. I wasn’t what I’d classify as a strawberry shortcake. It was more of a cake with layers of strawberry filling, but it was really good. I kind of missed having some fresh strawberries on top or part of the filling however. There weren’t even any on the side. Oh well. I’ll say one thing though, the slice was huge!!! Like I said, I really enjoyed my experience here and definitely going back in the very near future.

Pros: –The steaks, obviously. Oh my goodness. The best is definitely the T-Bone– get it medium rare. The meat on the aged steaks is so tender you don’t really need a knife. –The wings are good– especially love the sweet and spicy ones. –the bread rolls are awesome. Sweet and soft and warm and fluffy, made in-house. — the service! The staff are SO friendly– you walk in and literally every employee you pass between the door and your table says hi, genuinely friendly. –delicious, hearty sides –awesome sports bar section, with massive screens covering every inch of the walls showing basketball, golf, hockey, football, and soccer. Last night I was able to watch a World Cup match at the same time as a Stanley Cup finals game: D Cons: –this is my fault for ordering it in a steak house, but their grilled mesquite shrimp left something to be desired. To be fair though, I don’t know what I was thinking ordering one of the only non-beef things on the menu, so that’s more on me.

When it comes to chain steakhouses, Ruth Chris is among the best. But on the other hand, you need to pay an arm and a leg to eat at Ruth. This place is more casual and offers aged steaks, just like some of the other high end places. The steaks are reasonably priced due to the fact they are aged. Better than Longhorn but maybe on par when compared to Outback. I asked for a medium rare ribeye, my favorite cut, and it was medium. But it was tasty and tender. I won’t turn down this chain but also wouldn’t go out of my way either.

The pros: Food was great. My wife’s ribeye was seasoned perfectly, and my burger was seared well and juicy. Our server was distracted by a table behind us where a woman was so unhapppy with her dish that she sent it back 3 times, and they actually had to bring the head chef our to talk to her. I felt horrible for both the server and that lady’s husband. The server held it together pretty well though, and got backup fron the other staff. They did not miss a beat. The cons: Price to substitute a salad out for fries is 3 dollars. No wonder there is an obesity problem in this country. That is a bit extreme, especially when you spend 16 dollars on a burger. Steak price was reasonable. Also there was cheese on the salad which I did not like, but I will share the blame for not asking. Unlike the lady behind me I did not send it back. Had the brownie sundae for dessert. Brownie was too cake like to truly call it a brownie, kind of felt like false advertising, and left me unsatisfied. The skinny: I like places thar have a wait. They have one for a reason. All and all very good– atmosphere was nice, wait staff was attentive, even with the issues they were dealing with, and even though I got my drink after my salad. That was a first for me. A few tweaks on the food and it will get that 5th star from me.

Went for lunch, had a burger and some soup. Solid. Was in the area and figured that burgers are often the unsung heroes of steakhouses, and being lunch, that’s what I wanted. Sat at the bar and ordered a cheeseburger and a crock of the french onion in place of fries. The french onion was good. Delivered a classic on point, not bad, not epic, but was as expected. Burger was the same way. Completely satisfied me. I didn’t leave any on the plate, but it wasn’t one of those restaurant burgers that you’ll go out of your way to come back for. You like burgers, you want a burger, this is just fine. But, its not the gourmet burger experience that seems to be cropping up these days. Just a restaurant burger. Roll was very good. Meat was flavorful. Lettuce was iceburg, pickle was crisp, onions were easily removed. I think the next time I’m in the mall for a burger, I’ll try Stan & Joes across the street or run over to the Green Turtle. The restaurant is EXTREMELY dark inside. I sat at the bar and though there must be storm clouds overhead. Came out to find a bright day. The bar area is surrounded by big screens so it looks like a great place to watch a game. And the next time I want a steak, I’ll definitely come back here to try out their namesake!
