Enjoyed a Saturday late lunch there. Not a lot folks at the time, food and drinks came pretty quickly. $ 3 bloodies were okay. but they were only $ 3. Overall typical pub quality food.

Just ordered for pick-up at bar, so, can’t truly assess the environment, although, looked like fun and if I lived closer would likely go back more. They forgot one crab cake for my order, but, when I called after getting home a half hour later, they said they credited my account(I was too far to come back to pick it up). The crab cakes were just ok. I’d prefer to go to Edgewater Inn in the future for those. The wings were really good. Also got the salmon with pasta, which was also very tasty. I rated it a 4, based on the friendly and good-energy environment and good food — besides the crab cakes.

Stan & Joe’s Edgewater location is a great place to grab a beer and watch the game. Their Ruben is the best and the live music is a big plus. All and all one of my favorite sports bars!

It was kinda dead Sunday brunch, but the servicer is not dead in service. She was attentive and fast. The food is something you would not die for but if you could kill the time, Stan and Joe will be lively open for a good old day of drinking and watching sports TV for those who have appetite at the middle of the day get together with your friendly neighbors go– meet– me at the bar before church or skip the church for prayers and let’s get drunkenly happily ever after. Stoagies is a fried wrap of meat or some stuffing.

I have had a couple of really fantastic nights at the Annapolis location. That being said… this place is definitely was DOA. My bestie and I dropped in on a weekend afternoon for lunch. The barren parking lot yelled«turn around!», but she and I were hungry, and I’m not too picky. The joint was dead. Bartender was very bubbly and attentive. My grilled chicken sandwich with ‘crab dip’ was just ok. My friend ordered the crab pretzel. Their crab dip is really just melted cream cheese with a faint hint of crab and old bay. Such a bummer b/c crab dip is something any MD restaurant should ace! Stick to S&J’s for night time fun; skip the daylight dining.

Went here on several occasions. Was willing to give them a chance or two or three because they were right down the street, despite the fact that that the first night I had their crab dip and it tasted like cream cheese with a few strands of crab meat in it… They didn’t even have the decency to throw some Old Bay on the stuff. The last time I was there, they turned a blind eye to a blatantly trashed man harassing each and every single one of their female patrons — simply because he was supposedly a former employee. I desperately tried to get them to do something and was only met with apologetic stares while said man assaulted me with sexual remark after sexual remark. I had to run out. NEVERAGAIN.

I tasted Stan and Joe’s cream of crab at the Maryland Seafood Festival Soup cook off contest after the owner said my experience was not the norm. Well, Stan or Joe really need to get a new chef because that cream of crab was the same disgusting can of condensed milk with a few lumps of crab thrown in that they served me at the restaurant. Annapolis should run this restaurant out of town for serving such a vile cream of crab in a seafood town such as Annapolis. I definitely will not taste or eat any of Stan and Joe’s food in the future, since it’s HORRIBLE! You can guess Stan Joe’s would have gotten my worst soup award and that’s saying something when a Doubletree by Hilton had the best soup in the contest.

Bands on Friday nights = can’t hear yourself think let alone have a conversation. Food is pretty decent, but don’t count on anyone answering the phone for carryout, ever. A bit pricey for bar food and service could use some help. Overall, there are much better places in Edgewater for bar food and I have given up on Stan and Joe’s.

I’ve never been to Stan and Joe’s before — either the original saloon on West Street in Annapolis or the new«saloon» in Edgewater. Maybe they are better at live music than food but we went at 6PM on a Saturday for dinner. The bar was crowded and stayed that way — although the bachelorette party that came in only stayed for one drink. The restaurant was not crowded — we should have known then. Two of us ordered burgers and were satisfied. One of us ordered Irish pasta — whatever that is. The special was prime rib and three of us ordered it. To say it was underwhelming would be kind. My two friends really couldn’t even decide if they had been served beef — they thought it might be a porkchop. It was dry and tasteless. The waitress was totally confused by a request for«au jus». I’m pretty sure my food was beef but I’m really bad at cooking and could have done better. It was served with a vegetable medley(green beans, broccoli, and really big carrot disks and a salad(iceberg lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, onion, cheese. I don’t think I’ve ever been served a prime rib with no potato. The waitress pretty much disappeared when she figured out we weren’t going to order lots of alcohol — never asked if things were alright and refills of the drinks we had were non-existent. We were there to celebrate a birthday and not only did they have no cake there were no desserts at all. We left as the band started setting up. I’m not a real noise person and the volume of the music before the band geared up was uncomfortable for me. The building this business is in is only about five years old and still the bathroom was decrepit and could have used a good cleaning. Maybe for a sports bar(13 TVs) and music its good but don’t go for the food.
