I’ve been here twice and don’t think I’m going to try again, as my experience was the same both times. Have not tried their coffee, so can’t comment on that. Pros: The service is polite and friendly, the place is really cute, very quiet, very clean, plenty of seating, and apparently has free wifi(I didn’t check). Prices are decent. Cons: EXCRUCIATINGLY slow service to make a mediocre sandwich. I got the brie and apple panini which could have been great, but it was meh. There were 2 very thin slices of apple which included apple core, and a very small amount of cheese, which was only evident if I looked inside. This meant the middle part of the sandwich had a little bit of substance and flavor, but the majority of the sandwich was dry toasted bread. The bag of chips were delicious. Cheesecake is pretty but is only ok in flavor and is tiny. I think this place could be great, but it’s not. I don’t know why it takes soooo loooong to make a sandwich which isn’t even very good. The first time my service was super slow I thought it was because it was the first week they were open, but by now at LUNCHTIME when there’s virtually NOONE in the place you should be able to expediently make a sandwich. There isn’t an excuse for this.

Stopped by today. Service was devastating slow. When the sandwich arrived, it was just not that great. Not going back again.

Joe and the rest of the staff are so friendly. Things might take a little longer sometimes, but it’s worth the wait. The pastries are all great… from the rich flavor of even the plain bagels to the buttery crust on the muffins, it’s all first-rate. There’s plenty of seating and free wifi. A fantastic alternative the chain coffee places. The soups are tasty and the sandwiches are made from in-house baked bread. Don’t forget Cakes by Rachel sharing the same location… everything from cake pops up to full sized party cakes. Many portable offerings are available to grab and go along side Kahve’s normal selection of scones, croissants, brownies, cookies, etc. Kahve has replaced my regular Starbucks stops completely. Haven’t been to ‘Bucks in ages now and I’m ok with that.

Looking for a new place, for breakfast, we found a review for Kahve Café, and decided to try it. The small coffee shop is nicely decorated, very clean, with several tables, some booths and a comfortable couch and Chiat. They make all their baked goods, including bagels, have breakfast sandwiches, and many other items, for breakfast and lunch. Service was cheerful, coffee was very good. Very nice place to try, lots of parking also.

I tried these guys today for the first time thanks to a voucher. First off — wow! the prices are ridiculously reasonable. I’ve never had such a hard time spending $ 15 on lunch. I ended up ordering a panini, drink, then 2 desserts to go to do so! Definitely a cost effective place for a quick bite. The décor is light and fresh. I love the brown and green especially. Staff was prompt and friendly, although I was the only person present most of my visit. Onto the food — I gave the apple and brie panini a try and LOVED it! Its a yummy grilled cheese with a sweet/tangy twist. They offer adequate side options as well: fruit, chips, or potato salad. I also ordered a cheesecake for me and a key lime pie to take home to my hubby. The cheesecake was excellent — might be my new favorite. I’m sure hubby will love the key lime if my dessert is any indication. They just released some living social deals which I think I will grab as I can definitely see myself returning!

Finally a coffee shop that found a way to make it work in this little shopping center(the shopping center where businesses go to die) and it is a welcome respite. Breakfast, lunch, and now some dinners and occasional live entertainment. Quiet place, friendly staff, reliable, free wifi, and good affordable food. I particularly like the breakfast sandwiches on a bagel. They are made here and the bagels are fluffy and not really dense with dough – different and great. Bonus, the owner sub lets(?) space to Cakes By Rachael and she privides the baked goodies and operates a dessert catering business from here. Congrats for finally finding the recipe for coffee shop success here!

When I first walked into Kahve I was blown away by the décor. The walls featured paintings in green and purple. And the chairs were all green as well. It has a much lighter feel than say a Starbucks. I ordered a Egg, Bacon and Cheddar on a bagel and a large dark roast coffee. The service was fast; taking only about 4 mins. The sandwich itself was really small but the bagel was probably the best I had ever had. The eggs and bacon are prepared on a CuisineArt Griddler. The bacon turned out great but the eggs were a little lackluster. I think the sandwiches would be better if they were just a bit bigger. Perhaps made with two eggs instead of one. Though, after having the amazing bagel with it, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to make those larger as well. Seriously, the bagel rocked. The coffee is definitely one of the better choices in the area. I haven’t tried a specialty drink but I will in the future. Overall I enjoyed Kahve. Huge fan of how eco conscious they are. You can see all the eco friendly aspects throughout the café. If you live in the Edgewater area make sure to visit. The coffee is amazing and the bagels are to die for. Not to mention you’d be supporting a local establishment. Always a plus. Happy Eating, Jace

I had lunch here today and this is also my first(but certainly not my last) visit. I had the turkey club and coffee(bold). The turkey club was great. The bread was fresh and soft. I later learned Kahve makes their own bread on and even wholesales some to others. The coffee was also very good. The food was prepared and delivered to our table quickly. Kahve Café is a hidden gem tucked away in the small shopping center off of Stepney’s Lane. The address can be fooling as it says 155 Michael’s Chance which is actually and address in the shopping center. Best directions: Going east on Davidsonville road, turn left onto Stephney’s lane then another left to the shopping center. Turn 1st right into the center go up two crossings then U — Turn and it is on your right. DONOT follow the current Google Map as it will put you at the opposite ended of shopping center.

Really was hoping this was going to be a good bakery. We need more artisan places in the Annapolis area delivering quality baked goods and breads. I didn’t have the coffee, so I can’t comment but the scones, bagels and some pastry were so forgettable, I may as well been getting them from Food Lion.

I went here to use a Living Social voucher, and I was excited to try a little bit of hole-in-the-wall coffee shop/café food. Unfortunately, my hopes were quickly dashed. Service: I went in on a Saturday, and while they had a fair number of customers in the café, it wasn’t slammed. Several people who ordered after me got their food first, and even though I don’t normally mind that(especially if they only have one or two quick items), I do start to mind when my food takes nearly a half hour to come out. Now, keep in mind that I only had two sandwiches and a cookie on my order. AND they forgot my cookie :(They were nice and apologetic that it took so long, but it really wasn’t worth it. On that note… Food: I got a tuna melt and a club sandwich; neither were fantastic. The bread on both of them was too overwhelming. It was almost like having a little bit of(name the topping here) with a TON of bread. Neither of the sandwiches used different bread, which is kind of disappointing. The flavors should complement each other, not just be tossed on the single bread du jour! As for the cookie, I can’t even comment on that, since they forgot it :(((( Overall: It’s okay if you have nowhere else to go, but it’s not one of those places that you should go out of your way to try.

I love the coffee and service here. I love the white chocolate mocha, in my opinion it is better then the same mocha that Starbucks makes. Further more they have started selling homemade bagels.
