Such a fun experience coming here. Have found everything we needed and the highest quality foods. And good value! When you have more than one pet the «friends of Chuck» program really saves money. Wanted to take a minute to mention the amazing customer service at this store too.

Over the top customer service! I am visiting for the weekend and brought my dog with me, but accidentally left his dog food at home. Stopped by Chuck & Dons to snag a small bag of food for the weekend.
They were out of the small bag I needed and only had the large bag, which was way more than I needed for 4 days. The manager told me to sit tight and he was going to look to see if he had any sample sizes. 2 minutes later he returned with 2 sample size bags (12oz’s each– perfect to get me through the weekend) and handed them to me– no charge. Very unexpected and excellent customer service.
I will definitely be back next time I’m in town (holidays) and be sure to spread the word to friends and family that live here.

My experience here was fantastic! The employee that helped me today was extremely knowledgable and personable, she made sure I was walking out with the product (s) that best suited my needs. She also explained that they have a pet whisperer who comes in every quarter to help with your pets problem (which I thought was pretty neat). They have a huge selection of pet related items (more than I thought they would have); I walked in expecting a tiny little store with barely any product, but was I wrong. Their pricing was extremely competitive and overall, this store is a great alternative to big box stores (like petco/​petsmart).

This new Chuck & Don’s is great! The closest to our house used to be near Lake Calhoun and now it is just a short drive away. They have everything we need to outfit our dog with food, toys, and winter gear.
Also, the carry the best cat litter boxes in existence, the ‘Clever Cat’ top entry box. Easy to clean and it basically eliminates litter mess outside the box! The only gripe I have is that they currently do not carry the specific type of litter and cat food that we use. Thankfully, they are both stocked at the Target nearby. If they begin to carry these brands I will never go anywhere else for pet supplies.
