Sam W. and I have this accidental mutual obsession about subs, and how there are no real ones here. Does it have to do with East coast snobbery? Possibly. But a good sub is like porn, can’t describe it, but you know it when you see it. I spotted this place when I was at the Queen of Cakes. It’s the weird industrial part of Edina. People won’t bug you, no reason to be seen here. This shop is a strange mix, subs and Mexican. The set up is which wich style ordering. The décor is all sports photos of the local high school. The sub itself has the bread down pat. I got an Italian style. I loved it and want to bring Sam sometime for his seal of approval. I also spotted the back of an interesting Indian restaurant to try. A good area to avoid crowds.

Ordered a turkey sub with swiss cheese lettuce and tomato. I wrote all of this down on the order form provided. The turkey was slimy tomatoes were not ripe at all and the lettuce was odd tasting. Not to mention i got american cheese… Topping off my whole experience it took the cashier 8 minutes to run my credit card. Don’t waste your time or money here.
