Baristas look like they hate their lives and hate even more that they have customers. If I wanted eye rolls and attitude I’d have my wife make my mocha. Coffee is forgettable. Do yourself a favor and drive further down the road for better coffee and much better service.

Here we go again,…now this Dunn Bros is ripping off The consumer… greed or poor training? Won’t be back you should be ashamed of this. 85% ice for a cold press… if I want to buy ice, I’ll ask for a cup of ice…

This is a quiet Dunn’s squeezed into a mall of varied interests, including a competing coffee place across the parking lot. By quiet I mean the music is low and soft, which might be a detriment to their ambience. There is usually a sedate type of clientele sipping and reading which seems to fit this Edina corner not far from a fashion mall. The outdoor seating is fairly spacious and I’ve always found myself sitting alone on these beautiful summer days. The staff is friendly and provide speedy service. The pastry selection is ample as I highly recommend the Cranberry Bread. Moist and not a high sugar count for those counting.

I can’t believe my favorite Dunn Bros. is in a large strip mall in Edina. We had about an hour to kill, and we spotted this. We had to think twice before ruining our appetites for Pittsburgh Blue. I’m pretty sure this local chain is independently owned by whomever wants to buy one. Mainly because this one is so well stocked. Original 8 oz. bottles of coke, die coke, and sprite, added to the appeal of the cold drinks. I don’t know if it’s because I’m reading Devil’s Food Cake Murder by Joanne Fluke, that those chocolate bliss cupcakes looked especially awesome. I just knew I’d regret it if I didn’t get some for home tonight. Always listen to your little voice, they were delicious. They come from the Cheesecake Factory. I got my usual hot chocolate. When I saw her full palm come down on the syrup, I knew it was gonna be awesome, and it was. My only regret was that I didn’t spot the pretty pink mug right away. It tastes just as good in black. I wasn’t sure about the layout til I sat down. One long rectangle off to one side, isn’t as crowded as I thought. We sat toward the back. I chose seats that were higher, the slightly lower black leather ones actually swivel. Right across from us was the condiment area, very neat with handy filtered water on hand, so we could take our diet supplements just before we left. The bathrooms are just around from here. Very handy and very clean singles. I noticed how the staff really enjoy working here, and really pay attention to you, not just chat amongst themselves. The lighting is plentiful for reading and the music is nice soft background, not blaring. Getting out of here is so convenient. There are signs that actually guide you to York Ave. and your turn is right there.

Great Dunn Bros location. It’s one of the large coffee shops in the area and usually has open seats. The staff is fantastic and always friendly.

Super nice Dunn Bros! I work in Richfield and work out at the Southdale Y in the mornings, and this place is right on my route. Same menu as the other DBC chain locations, but this place has several really comfy leather couches and nice tables & chairs. The staff is friendly and personable. Free wifi and computers to use. I usually get an Americano and usually when I get it at Caribou, it is sooo hot that I can’t drink it for awhile, but when I’ve gotten my Americano here — it’s just the right temp. It’s hot, but not too hot. This DBC is never crowded, which I love. It makes it a cozy, relaxing spot.

I love Dunn Bros and am a frequent customer, but this location by far is not worth your time stopping by. I get the occasional half off coupon to this location, so of course I use it but compared to the other Dunn Bros in the area(ie. linden hills, 50th and Xerxes), it just isn’t as great. As for their drinks-they are good, but definitely not as good as other Dunn Bros locations I’ve been to. I usually order a vanilla coffee ice crema and there have been multiple times they have forgotten to add the vanilla flavoring-which has never happened at any of the other locations. Second, the shop itself. It’s in a newish building and definitely reflects the Edina shopping area it is in, so if you’re used to a fun, cozy coffeeshop vibe found at most other Dunn Bros-it’s not really here. Plus, when it is cold, whenever someone opens the door, so much cold air comes into the building. Today, I was sitting in the way back of the store and could still feel the cold air. In fact, most people sitting down were still wearing their winter coats. Also, I have tried a few times to do some work and use my laptop but the internet is super slow and sometimes won’t even connect-and I’ve never had any issues with that outside of this store. If you have a half off coupon like I usually get, I mean of course come here and use it cause you are saving money but otherwise, save your money and time and go to a better Dunn Bros elsewhere. It’s worth it.

Looking for a fun crunchy atmosphere with cool people who can make good coffee and chat at the same time? If so, head to one of the Dunn Bros in Uptown. This place is another Caribou or Starbucks in Dunn Bros’ skin. I was told ‘this is just very Edina’ — yeah? Well sorry, it’s not very ‘Dunn Bros’ to me Then again, if stuck in Edina, it’s still tons better than the Caribous of the world, because, well, it’s good coffee.
