We have been here the past three years for our company’s annual party. Overall its been a good experience. Setting up a party is very easy and all questions are answered promptly. The food has always been amazing and we have done both a sit down served meal and buffet style — both nice in their own way. The room minimums have gone up quite a bit each year, but its a very popular place so I do understand. They do charge to use any AV equipment, and quite a bit, so bring your own if you can. During events they are very attentive and do ensure the evening goes smooth. The transition from dinner to bowling is always great and our team has a great time while bowling Our most recent time there they suggested I had more people than my contract stated, which was not the case, and was a little off putting. Overall I recommend for a private party — book early though if around the holidays!

Go for the bowling. Go for a drink. But skip the restaurant, save your money and stop at Taco Bell on the way home instead. You will save money and the service will definitely be a big step up. To say that the service at Pinstripes is incompetent doesn’t even begin to describe how bad it was. Our waitress brought my drink out about 20 minutes after I ordered it. She forgot to take the order of one member of our party. Then she literally forgot to bring my meal. Since she never really stopped by to check on us, she didn’t notice until everyone else at the table was nearly done eating. Thankfully they didn’t charge me for the food I never got, though. I never saw a manager the entire time we were there, either. Needless to say, we won’t be going back.

We went to Pinstripe’s on Saturday night at about 6:30pm expecting to have a long wait but we were seated immediately. The table we were escorted to was not in a desirable location so I asked if we could be seated at a different booth that I pointed to the hostess. She denied us because she said all of the other tables were for reservations. The interesting thing is that there were numerous open tables throughout the night so ultimately her denial made us suspect she denied us just to deny us. While our server was a sweet young lady, she was very inexperienced and didn’t know the menu. She would also disappear for long bouts of time. My husband ordered a drink intended to be consumed prior to our meal arriving and after over 20 minutes of waiting and our meal arriving it still wasn’t there, so when she brought our meal he cancelled the drink order. I have to also add that he ordered Glenlivet with a splash of water on the«rocks» and he was charged $ 10.50 for the drink and an additional $ 2 for the«rocks»!!! Seriously? Is ice a commodity hard to come by? The server claimed it was because when it is on the«rocks» you get more alcohol which I find hard to believe because ice takes volume; therefore, less alchohol… right? I ordered water and never had my glass refilled again, so maybe there is a budget when it comes to water? I have to also add that the Glenlivet came in a very very small glass. If you go to Tavern on France and order the same thing you get a much larger glass and don’t get charged for the«rocks». We ordered the crab cake appetizer for $ 15 and only one mediocre sized crab cake arrived with so little sauce on the plate that we couldn’t even scrape it off in order to use it with the crab cake. The sold crab cake and size was surprising because are appetizer’s only intended for one person? They could have at least split the batter and made two smaller crab cakes. It just felt like a total ripoff, but it was good. We could not spot a manager in the restaurant the entire night so it was evident to us that management was missing and inexperienced staff were in abundance.(Later we went to the bar for a drink and we believe we saw what appeared to be a manager hanging out in the bar area, so if this was a manager he wasn’t spending time in the restaurant where he should spend the majority of his time.) When our food was brought out my silverware was on the appetizer plate, so when the busboy took the plate he handled the fork and put it back on the table. This grossed me out as I didn’t want him touching the fork if I was expected to keep it. They could have brought me a fresh one. I have to admit that our food was delicious and well plated. Both of us loved our food! I ordered the filet mignon trio with mashed potato’s and asparagus. The filet’s were amazing, especially the peppercorn coated medallion. The asparagus was good but not properly snapped because there were portions that couldn’t be cut and were tough. While the food was really good I can’t imagine going there again for dinner after the service issues, the mini crab cake for $ 15 and the charge for the«rocks» made us feel nickeled and dimed. I have purchased numerous $ 100 gift cards as client gifts and probably will not do so again after experiencing this restaurant during dinner service. We’ve had brunch on Sunday’s in the past and that was decent. Bottomline, the Twin Cities is a mecca of amazing restaurants and if you’re going to be in a higher tier of restaurant pricing then management needs to make sure they are on game with portions and service or customers will move on to something else. Sorry if this is TMI, but upon arriving home I became very ill and my dinner was«evacuated» which NEVER happens to me so either something was not right with the food I ate or the mashed potatoes could have been loaded with butter and cream too rich to be ingested.

We had a good time playing bocce ball here. Make sure you call & book though… we did not and they didn’t have an opening until 10pm(we were there at 7) which was strange because it was empty when we got there but the hostesses up front said they had some reservations coming. We went & sat in the bar. We were going to skip bocce ball & just have a drink & listen to the 2 man band(saxophone & piano players) which was really nice on a Friday night. We had a couple awesome waitresses. The one in the bar we told how we were bummed we couldn’t get on the list any sooner than 10 to play & she said many times people don’t show up. So she went totally out of her way & put her name down on the list for the no shows! Sure enough she got us in! She let us know to go up to the hostesses & let them know we were up. They were all very confused. They were very young & it took all 3 of them to figure it out after I explained to them 3 times how we were taking the no shows spot & that our waitress put her name down for us. Once we got through that it was all good. We had another amazing waitress that again went out of her way for us! It was FREEZING in the bocce ball area(it’s right by the door & its surrounded by huge Windows) so she asked the manager to turn the heat up. They did & it warmed up really quickly. We had a couple drinks & happy hour appetizers that were really good(stuffed mushrooms, artichoke dip, & hummus plate). I love the ambiance of this place & the service is top notch! We will definitely be going back sometime soon.

Nice interior! The lights are dimmed and it’s very cozy. Is there a happy hour? Yes! But you have to go to the bar for that. There is decent priced drinks and half off appetizers. They do serve bread as an appetizer already. It’s not too bad except for the fact that it didn’t come out warm for us. I tried the spinach and artichoke dip. The dip was not too bad but the bread was rock hard. It was practically impossible to eat without worrying about crumbs flying everywhere. I tried the salmon with quinoa and peppers. It is at the bottom of the chef signature dishes. I will say this entrée was delicious! There is a drizzle of orange sauce that is slightly spicy. However, the salmon is perfection because it is juicy and full of a sweet flavor. I also checked in on Unilocal and got a free gelato or sorbet!!! I hope to come back here to play bocce ball or go bowling.

I haven’t been to Pinstripes in two years, but I was very happy to return! The service was great, even during the busy lunch rush. I had the Burrata Salad with grilled chicken and it was AMAZING! I hear their cappuccinos are also great.

Less than what I had expected. Reviewed menu on-line ahead of time and decided to give it a try. Nice looking place, server was nice and food came on time but it was ordinary and not worth the prices. Maybe because they are in Edina they feel they can’t serve anything too flavorful or exotic. They also could not make a decent cocktail other than their own specialty cocktails on their menu. The bocci ball was $ 10/per person per hour which is why we went there but when we hear the prices we decided against it. This may be a good place for work parties, but I would not recommend it if you want to impress foodies.

Amazing! Food allergy friendly! I ordered the chicken goat cheese pasta and it was fantastic. They were very aware of food allergy procedures and made sure my food was safe. The service was prompt and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The sea bass was amazing! Good atmosphere and nice selection of different menu items. Portions were generous. The server was attentive and she provided helpful suggestions. Patio/deck area had a nice view. My hubby had the chicken and goat cheese pasta and loved it. We didn’t part take of the games, but we’d definitely go back!

The server, Jeremy, was delightful and attentive. He made some great suggestions for a party of 11. The jambalaya was honestly amazing! The burgers were just meh, creamy pasta(huge portion) had to be bagged to go but it was also delicious. It’s a little out of my way but if I ended up in that side of town, I wouldn’t hesitate a second visit.

Food is quality and solid portions but nothing absolutely amazing. Drinks and selection of wine is great. Service is friendly however continues to be slow. Would love to go more often and enjoy the games however they are either always booked with parties but also really spendy. A good date spot for happy hour and an appetizer. Great ambiance!

Came here for an office get together. First time here and I cam away with the impression that it’s bowling for rich people! They have an actual restaurant seating area, and have fine dining, and leather couches in their bowling area! Nice outdoor patio with a fire pit and blankets for people to use. Right outside centennial lakes so good place for people to mingle and talk. Food was pretty decent. There were lots of little finger type foods ordered by my company and most were pretty decent. Tequila shots were expensive! $ 11 for a very tiny shot!

the bowling is too expensive, so my review is based on food alone overall good food. good HH, flat breads and small plates are the best thing. don’t bother with entrees, sharing a variety is the way to go. service was great. been here probably 6 times now. love sitting outside in the summer, the bonfire in the front is night too at night!

I have been to Pinstripes 4 times for different corporate events. I would have thought that a bar that calls itself Pinstripes would have a better sports focus. I tried to come here one other time to watch a football game and found out they only have a few TVs in the bar and they do not subscribe to the NFL package — interesting?!? However, our groups have had the whole second floor to ourselves all 4 times we have visited. Pinstripes does have a very nice private room to gather and eat. However, the bar in the pre-function space is poorly placed and gets clogged with people trying to visit the bar, go in and out of the meeting room, go to the bathrooms, and to the upstairs bowling alleys. The food is average. Our groups have had the pizza and salad buffet each time. While the pizza does have some interesting flavors and they offer veggie and gluten free options, it has been cold and just thrown on a large marble slab each time I have come. It is thin-crust brick oven style pizza, but I don’t think it is designed to be served cold. The bowling alleys are average with no real groove. The bowling shoes are stacked on a folding table like you are at a church yard sale and the selection of bowling balls is limited. All in all, Pinstripes has the facilities to host a large party of up to 200 people. I can think of worse corporate events that I have been to, but come here with very low expectations and you won’t be disappointed.

I was here on a Wednesday night. Suprisingly busy for mid week. My husband’s company sponsored an event. Seems like other companies had the same idea. Overall cool place. Has bowling upstairs and downstairs and bocce ball. Outside had a fire pit and they provide blankets! I’ve never seen a place provide socks but they do too… The good kind of socks! Ambiance reminds me of a granite city with games. Very homey feel. We tried an assortment of things. I had their pinecrusted seabass. Seabass was kind of too welldone and weirdly the salad that came with it was salted. The risotto was nothing special. Very unidimentional. To have seabass at a bowling alley, I should have known better. My husband had the seafood tagliatelle and shrimp was also over cooked. The lump crab was decent in there. We had their calamari and it was good. The hummus was pretty average. Tastes grocery bought. The fried mozzarella cheese was good. A little better than average. I’d have to admit service was top notch! Orders were taken quickly and server returned many times to check up on us. Food came fast. Refills were never missed. So for food I’d give 3 stars but for ambiance I’d give it 4 stars. Want a fun time with decent food, come here. If you just come for food, I’d suggest elsewhere.

I was here with a large group(200+ people) for a work function. We had the entire top floor to ourselves and it was a blast. Between the deck, bowling ally, bocci, bar, and dining room there was plenty of space and areas to congregate and talk. Bocci and bowling were a lot of fun and a great activity to have available at an event with people from diverse areas of an organization. It provides something to do and talk about other than small talk for hours. The food was served buffet style; pizza, bruschetta, and appetizers. I mainly stuck to the pizza which was pretty good but not outstanding. Nice selection of more unique beers on tap. Service was excellent. It seemed like they weren’t there, until the moment you needed another drink or a plate cleared, then there they were. I would love to attend another event here or just come with a group of friends.
