Hey I understand the need to card people but getting refused service at 56? Presumably the owners don’t allow the managers any discretion with respect to personal judgement. My grey haired husband couldn’t stop laughing as we headed out to the next establishment !

We had a family special one topping and a house special. It fed two adults and seven kids for a birthday party no problem. Kids and adults loved the pizza. The house special was awesome imo. We’ll eat here again for sure.

Would go to the Savoy Pizza in St. Paul as a kid… and this brings back great memories. I can’t go there without getting their thin crust sausage. The sauce has a little kick, the cheese is great… only downside is it’s a little greasy… but well worth it!

We used to pick up Reds from the original store in St Paul. Then Burnsville opened. Now Edina. They have a happy hour special for a 1 topping pizza for $ 102−5pm. But we noticed the toppings are usually plentiful and the cheese thick, but the happy hour pizza skimpy on topping and cheese.

Best pizza! Sauce is spicy and crust is thin. Would have given a 5 star rating but the salad I ordered was so big and was basically lettuce with pizza toppings. I hate that!

We called for delivery to the Sheraton hotel. We were immediately put on hold. The man who answered and took our order was short with us, «yeah we deliver» «what do you want?» «Expiration date» «ok it will be there in a little bit» *click* Pizza took over 30 minutes to arrive The pizza was wonderful and warm when it arrived! Slight kick to the sauce. Very Greasy but great taste. The Sheraton would not allow delivery guy to come to our room. We had to go to the lobby to retrieve the pizza– not a big deal but heads up.

One of my favorite pizza delivery places in the city. I’m typically a deeps is pizza man, but there style of thin crust is hits the spot.

For those at the DoubleTree Hotel and Sheraton Bloomington hotels… There’s not much to offer around here. If we don’t want to spend an entire’s day stipend in the hotel restaurant, the choices seem like Burger King or Subway… Oh wait, there’s Red’s Savoy Pizza just a little bit further away. If it was in a downtown environment, I’d probably give it three stars, but I’m giving it the extra star for the work travelers that want a better option than the BK. Pretty good pizza in a restaurant with big TVs for sports. Not really a bar atmosphere, closer to Chipotle, so no social anxiety here. They were out of meatballs when I was there. :( Pizzas are cut into bite-sized pieces for what it’s worth.

Good pizza. Little spicy but not too hot. Staff was friendly but not pushy. Seems like a great place to grab a pizza and chill.

The pizza is a 7 out of 10 but what makes this place great is the service. The guys that work at the front are awesome. They even remember your name and what you ordered weeks later.

I think I expected to much out of this place. The sauce had flavor, but I was surprised by: 1. That at peak lunch time(1 ish) there were only two slices of pizza left. So, I opted for the pepperoni slice. 2. However, it wasn’t reheated because I wanted it for take out. 3. When asked if anything else was coming out soon, I was taken to the buffet! I didn’t want so much food, so I was off put by that gesture. 4. Lastly, I don’t think the one slice was worth over $ 4, that is a shocking price for one slice. That’s why I’m giving it two stars. Overall, meh.

If you order a Veggie Pizza — be aware that mushroom, onion, green pepper, black olive and green olive is what they call a Veggie Pizza. My husband brought one home to bake and he was excited to find out they have a Monday night $ 10 pizza offer. It looked good — not much flavor to the sauce or cheese but the texture was a nice crisp crust and it baked up with nice crispy cheese on the top too. I took a bite and was overwhelmed with OLIVES. After a few bites I peeled back the top and saw a galaxy of OLIVES — green & black sliced THICK. Yikes. Too many. I could not believe that they could even make any money on a large pizza that cost $ 10 dollars and seemed to have about 3 small bottles of olives on one pizza. I am NOT kidding. I started to pull the olives off of just this one slice and I counted 29 full slices at least ¼ inch thick or more(and that was minus the two previous bites). The very very few mushrooms that I could find were like slimy canned mushrooms — not a good sign. It was brutal to try to eat and I could not even finish one slice because the taste it left on my palate was and still is — bluck. Just to think about it… bluck — and I like olives but these were TOO many and of questionable quality. I will try another item and update this post — just not that Veggie Pizza. Will go to the restaurant and try something there that I can custom order so I am sure it might come out with some flavor. It is worth another try.

Swing and a miss… A BIG miss! Wanted some pie while doing business in the area. Rushed to get over for the pizza buffet that ends at 2. After having ‘it’ I wished I missed the time window. All I can say is if you ever wondered where your school lunch lady went to work to whip up those barely edible pizzas, your search is over! This could possibly be one of the worst pizzas I’ve had… EVER. And even worse news… There’s a bunch of it on the buffet. So with such bad pizza, what’s up with the 2-star review? If you’ve read my other reviews, you know that I typically don’t show any mercy. After all, bad is bad. However, there is one thing this place has going for it… One of the nicest staff members around! She even tried to tell me that she eats a lot of the inedible chocolate chip cookies(these are so bad they make gluten free cookies taste like Mrs. Fields!) So here’s the rundown… Pizza 0 Staff 5 Cookie –1

Service was horrible. All I wanted was 2 slices of pepperoni pizza, I was willing to wait since it wasn’t available. They told be once the pizza was done I could grab 8 slices from the buffet. I wanted 2 big slices, not 8 small and I didn’t come to serve myself. I asked for the 2 large slices but they wouldn’t provide it so I left. It’s sad that at 1:00 o’clock, which is lunch time, that they were out of pepperoni in the Buffett and to go slices.

After registering at the nearby Doubletree Hotel we were looking more for appetizers than a meal and pizza was an option. Red’s Savoy Pizza was close by and had good reviews so we gave it a shot. The pizza did not disappoint us. The staff however was disappointing. The server taking our order claimed that as a minor he didn’t need to know the beverage lineup. My wife was looking for a hard cider and settled for a soda and I followed suit as a result. I thought they would be open until 10 but by the actions of the staff(bring us a box not asked for, whisk away first one plate and then the next) you would have thought they closed much earlier.

If you like thin crust pizza with plenty of cheese this is your place. The sauce has a sweet little heat finish. I love it. It’s a new place and the employees seem to be working on a little learning curve but the are very friendly and want to please.

Great pizza finally comes to the west side of town. Even though this is a franchise, and isn’t attached to a smoky bar like the original in St. Paul, it still features the classic, super-cheesy pizza and tangy sauce. You can order in and eat in the small tidy restaurant located just east of Hwy 100 on 77th street or call ahead for carry out. We’ve already carried out a couple of times since they opened and had them deliver another time or two. They also sell frozen pies in a case just inside the door, but I just don’t think the home oven does them justice. So happy to have quality pizza on this side of the river for a change. One less reason for a road trip now.
