I did take-out here once because I was desperate and it was the only one in the area. I’ve never been back. I had sashimi and it arrived a little warmer than room temperature and REALLY slimy. I also had the fried cheese and that was all practically burnt. I’m never eating there again. Try Kumori or Kato instead for sushi. They’re the best in town.

So a bud and I grabbed a quick lunch at Suteki and we were immediately seated when we walked in. I can’t remember what it is exactly that I ate, but the rolls were pretty darn tasty. My bud ordered the lunch special for me since she’d been there before and she knows my tastes pretty well. The lunch included two rolls and something called«miso» soup. The soup was pretty tepid when they brought it out but my bud complained in a very passive way(frowny face) and they brought us some nuked soup to make up for the infraction. The service was kind of shoddy in a way, but nothing that was overt or uncalled for. This isn’t the best sushi place I’ve visited, or the worst, but it’ll do if you want something quick and easy for lunch. For the Valley, not a bad joint to try out once.

I used to come here all the time cause I like their California Rolls and they make ‘em quick. Last time I got the rolls to go, and as I was eating them, I found a curly black hair inside one of the rolls! I was disgusted and went back to complain. The manager was SORUDE to me! She said I planted the hair to get free sushi! What nerve! I’m never going back there! The«chefs» in the back were giggling about the whole thing!
