Taco Palenque

Our tacos arrived cold. The table and floors weren’t clean. There are way too many TV’s and now they have those annoying video stations at a lot of the tables. There are many other better taquerias in Edinburg and McAllen. Much better.

Esta es la franquicia mas popular de tacos que vi en mi visita a Edinburg, Texas. Abre las 24 horas y en su interior puedes escuchar la música de banda y norteño que se relacionan con nuestro país.
Hay una barra de ensaladas donde puedes arreglar tu platillo, ya sea con salsas, pepinos, cebollitas guisadas, totopos, etc. Hay mucha variedad, no solo son tacos sino también pozole, menudo, enchiladas, huevo al gusto etc.
Lo que más me gustó fueron los piratas, consisten en una tortilla (de harina o de maíz, como tu quieras) con frijoles, queso y la carne de tu elección. Lo único que no me agradó es que los tacos, piratas, quesadillas te los dan en papel aluminio, sería más cómodo en platitos pero aún así son muy buenos.

This place and their crew never disappoint. They have never let me down on the late night munchies. I appreciate all the hard work these local workers do to keep a food restaurant running ²⁴⁄₇. Never have I dined in, as I am always on the go. but drive thru service is top notch. Extra tortillas and guacamole salsa is available for free upon request. I swear that guacamole salsa is so good, I just drank it by itself after I finished my breakfast tacos!

Taco Palenque is a great place to go the one in Edinburg is kind of new the service is great and so is the food. Even though it’s not a fair price. Most of the time I take out, usually I go in and order to get my self salsas, limes, and chips. Because if I go through the drive they only give you so little of what you want. Other than that it’s a good place

This place is extremely good. Great location, clean place, and service. Can’t quite remember the name of the items I ordered, but it was extremely fantastic. Really recommend it here!

I’ve always enjoyed a bite from Taco Palenque. They’ve got great food and fast service. If you’re a new customer then I recommend the Casero tacos. Perfect taco at a perfect price.
It’s worth it, trust me.

Taco Palenque is one of my favorite places to eat in the valley. They have fast service and delicious food. Anything you get from their menu is bound to be amazing. Also, they have unlimited chips and a salsa bar that’s the bomb! I highly recommend you stop and try this place — get a Pirata or a Super Quesadilla — yum yums!!!
Side note /​Advice — you get two tortillas wrapped on the piratas — they’re over stuffed — split the Pirata into two :)

Love this place! So glad they built it in Edinburg! The place is clean and big not like the one in McAllen! Drive thru is always moving no delays. Not a lot of people knew this place was open until they added the «now open» signs
