Food is always on point, I’ve gotten a few different items off the menu, all were delicious. I would definitely recommend this place for brunch.

Perfect start of the day. Way better than any ihop. Peasant potato was nicely prepared. Felt less oily than typical hash browns. I was expecting a little more chicken in the dish. Chicken portion in both my egg dishes were on a lower side.

I decided to try this place based on the good reviews. I got one of the skillets and coffee and both were great. My friend got the waffles which was drenched in syrup and the waitress took it off our bill, which was nice of her. My complaint would be about the attitude of the woman standing in front. First, she told us we couldn’t sit down until all our party was there and when paying for the bill, she said that we couldn’t split the bill unevenly. Her tone was unappreciated in general. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend coming here with a party.

Second time and I have to say. The cooks here know how to make breakfast. I say breakfast because that’s all I have eaten here thus far. Today. I enjoyed the Grande and Heavenly Banana French toast. The French toast I did not need any syrup. It was already sweet enough. The Grande was very good and fulfilling. No salt necessary. The perfect morning spot. If you catch this place when you do not need to wait. Consider yourself very lucky. Always filled with people. This establishment is only open 7a to 2:30p.

I went on a Sunday with my family of eight, and the wait was about 40minutes. The waitress and service was perfect and catered to me and my family, checking on us and not leaving us with empty drinks. On another note I ordered the stuffed French toast with strawberries and cream. It was delicious!

This review is overall rated for the food. This is mine and my husbands second time eating at Le peep and both times we enjoyed our dish. I got the granola almond French toast ! Let me tell you, it was DELICIOUSSS !! I also got the same thing the second time. Yeah my craving was that real ! LoL. The crunch of the granola and the soft fluffy bread combination with the butter and hot syrup they serve is so good and so tasty. As I’m writing this my mouth is literally watering ! My husbands first time he got the Zatita something(we can’t remember) and eggs Benedict with chorizo skillet. He says it was okay, just simply eatable. The Eggs Benedict was really good and well cooked. They Didn’t use chorizo sausage like it was advertised. Just regular sausage. The salsa sauce was a little watery. I also got to try his dish and I personally loved it. The second time he got another skillet with scrambled eggs and salsa sauce with cheese and potatoes. He said it didn’t have much taste ! But the only real downfall as many have mentioned in their reviews was the orange juice is not freshly squeezed, but the French toast makes up for it . The one star I didn’t add was for my husbands experience and the orange juice … I personally would definitely recommend this place, if you are a big French toast lover like I !!

My review’s is based on the food I’ve had here. I loved every each dish I’ve gotten. Well I always come here for their skillet dish and pancakes. Their skillets are delicious and very filling! My all time favorite is the pumpkin walnut pancakes during the fall. They put pumpkin chunks in the pancakes, it tastes like a baked sweet potato, if you never had a pumpkin. The pancakes are so fluffy. As for the service I would probably give it a star or a star-point five. The waitresses don’t feel very welcoming. They come, greet and take orders. One time my friend tried getting their attention and they clearly ignored us and went on with their business. If it’s not busy, they’re usually inside the kitchen rather than out and giving out good service. Overall, I love this place for the food(:

I visited here with my friend for having brunch. As a appetizer, I wanted cream soup, but there was not cream soup on the menu. So, I asked the server, she offered me lobster bisque(It might be today’s soup). She gave me a try for the soup after hearing that I’ve never eaten that soup. The soup was so tasty. And the toast and scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, turkey sausage were good too(But, the amount was a lot) Cashier was funny! Moreover, I recommend the lobster bisque when you visiting here!

Finally got around to trying this cozy brunch place after hearing so much about it. There was about a 20 minute wait on a Saturday which wasn’t too bad. I ordered the Gypsy skillet and my husband ordered the eggs Benedict. The gypsy skillet was very flavorful and quite filling. I wasn’t able to finish it at all. The potatoes were made just right with just the right amount of cheese. It was my first time eating eggs that were basted. The only thing I didn’t like was the English muffins. They were overdone. My husband’s eggs Benedict was very bland and the hollandaise was super watery. Definitely not one of the best he’s had. Overall, this place was just ok for us. Not sure if we will go back, I think we would rather go to IHOP or a diner.

Yes, my review has changed this dramatically. Where can I even begin with this place after my last outing there. To put it simply, the owner does not deserve ANYONES money. It’s a wonder to me how he even is in business with the way you are treated here. My girlfriend and I went to get a nice brunch at le peep like we have done many times before and we are told there is a 10 minute wait. Fine, we wait, no problem. A couple walks in 8 minutes after us, sits for 2 minutes, and they call them in before us. Naturally we ask why they were seated first and the hostess says she has no idea why this man has taken them to OUR table. That man was the owner; some micromanaging, sour faced man. We let it go and then were seated after. Our waitress takes SO long(over 15 minutes) to come take our order that we decide to get up and leave because we have had enough. When we go up to pay for the stupid orange juice I got, I mentioned to the owner that it took long for us to get served and that we waited forever to get seated when others went ahead of us, he proceeded to scoff at me and pretty much roll his eyes. Needless to say I had many words brewing in my mind to say to him but I paid my orange juice like a good customer and told him to think about how he treats his customers when he has none left. DONTCOMEHERE.

Perfect place to go for a brunch! Although this particular restaurant isn’t «fancy,» it definitely is «cozy.» There are so many options: Starting from classic pancakes, omelets, all the way up to egg benedicts, crepes, and much more, ! My friends and I ordered: 3 different types of egg benedicts(muschroom/spinach ch egg benedict, crabmeat benedict and classic benedict), crepes, and classic breakfast menu. I have to say they were delicious and huge in portion! Loved it!!! We visited this place during Christmas season: we loved their Christmassy atmosphere! The staffs were kind enough to take multiple pictures of us infront of the cute Santa decoration. The only down side of this place is that they don’t offer«freshly squeezed juice.» Other than that loved the dine –in experience!

Probably the best place for breakfast in the state of New Jersey. The food is absolutely phenomenal. The skillets are amazing so I highly suggest getting one. My favorite is the Gypsy Skillet. The french toast is also to die for. The coffee is amazing. The service is fast, sometimes there is a wait but its well worth it. Not much else to say other than you will not be dissappointed here.

Whenever I’m in NJ I try to arrange a get-together with a group of friends who met at a support group some 16 years ago. Though all our lives are very different now, we’ve managed to stick together. Today 6 of the 7 of us were available on the same date, so I suggested that we try LePeep, a change from the E. Brunswick diner we usually meet up in. With its Rte. 1 location, it was easily accessible to those who had to drive a distance. Some had never been there; others, like I, had been there once eons ago. It was Sunday, so the place was jammed. But even though the earlier arrivals had been told there’d be a 20 minute wait, we were seated within 10. We all ordered different things, ranging from omelets to a burger to dessert crepes, and everyone was more than satisfied with their food. I had the Spanish omelet, and was surprised that the salsa was quite spicy at this white-bread family place. Though I love the chorizo it was supposed to come with, I changed it to turkey sausage in my quest for a slightly healthier meal. The omelet was huge and was very tasty. I forgot to specify that I didn’t want the eggs browned, and was glad to find that they were perfectly cooked through without a speck of brown. It came with Peasant Potatoes and rye toast(my choice). Even the coffee was pretty good, and usually if it’s not Starbucks, it’s undrinkable to me. I could only eat half of the omelet and potatoes, so again, it will be another of my favorite meals — leftovers! I never expected to be giving LePeep four stars, but the service from the waitress and the amount of time to get our food, as well as the taste and quantity of the food, deserves it. The only thing marring our experience was the sheer amount of noise in the place, making it difficult for us to exchange all the news we had to share with each other. And don’t get me started on babies who don’t just cry, which I can deal with, but those who shriek continuously and ear-piercingly and have parents who just don’t give a rat’s ass whose meal they’re ruining. Not the fault of the restaurant, but some noise-dampening modification would help. Despite that, I’d definitely consider coming back!

I loved everything my table ordered! The frittata was a bit spicy, but it was due to the salsa flavor. Overall, very yummy if you’re into the Mexican-style taste. The gypsy platter was really lovely – mushrooms, potatoes, cheese, basted eggs on top. what cam go wrong with it? And the Sicilian was awesome too. It had sun dried tomatoes whicch added an extra punch of flavor. Overall service was quick for a Saturday brunch, though we waited about 10 minutes for a table. And the waitress was really helpful though she was busy servicing 3 other tables around us. My problem with the staffs attitude came when we were paying. She swiped 3 cards instead of 4, so she redid it. That was fine. But then we reminded her that we had written how much to put on each card at the back of the receipt, but she had split the bill evenly among the 4 cards. She gave an attitude about it, so we told her not to bother fixing it.

This place is such a gem in an area that’s flooded with chain restaurants and 24-hour diners. It’s located in a very congested area of route 1, which is the only reason I don’t go as often as I’d like, but when I do, I always leave very happy. Staff is nice, wait times are always very accurate, and the food is just delicious. Saturday’s and Sunday’s are their craziest days, as breakfast and brunch are their specialty, so be prepared to wait for a bit– it’s worth it! Servings are very generous and everyone gets their own carafe of tea water or coffee so you don’t have to keep waving someone down for refills. On my most recent visit, I met my mom and sisters for breakfast. Two of them had never been there before, but were both huge fans by the time we left!

I LOVE breakfast/brunch food. It’s filling. It’s healthier than other foods you would normally have when you eat out(or at least I like to tell myself that). And it’s just comforting. I had the Wanderer(a skillet filled with peasant potatoes, crisp bacon, onions, tomatoes and combo cheese, all topped with two basted eggs), for takeout. You would think that everything would be soggy and cold but it was actually still really good. It wasn’t hot anymore, but it was still warm. Eggs? Good! Cheese? Good! Bacon? GOOD! I wouldn’t mind coming back and dining in at Le Peep to try their dishes fresh. I bet they would be even more amazing!

Food: Very Good Service: Very Good Ambience: Good Looks like a duck talks like a duck walks like a duck it’s a duck. Le peep is a local diner that closes after lunch. I do not mean that as a negative Le peep is one tasty duck. They have the usual fare you expect from a a diner. Everything we had tasted really good even if it was a little over cooked. The service was very good even on a crowded Father’s Day Sunday. A perfect suburban weekend brunch experience. Will be back.
