At first when we walked in, it was crowded on a Saturday evening as expected. There were no seats left until we waited for 10 minutes and the guy working there said we couldn’t order while we were waiting. You have to go up to the counter and order and then after waiting for 10 minutes we got our food which was naan, chicken tikka masala and chicken biryani. The naan was $ 2, chicken tikka and chicken biryani was $ 11. I was disappointed that there was hardly any chicken in the chicken tikka masala, curry to chicken ratio was very poor because it was 80% curry. There was oil dripping down the naan. Service is fast(hence the express in then name) which makes it convenient if you are starving and want indian food.

Some of the best Indian food we have had! The employees were a great help in that we are not Indian and some of the foods we were not sure of what they were. All the food was cooked and spiced to perfection. I can’t wait to come back.

Great service, amazing south indian food and fair prices. My girlfriend and I(who eat a lot) got 3 things to share and had leftovers. The samosa chat was full of bold, delicious flavors and the uppathum and Manchurian fried rice had wonderful textures and flavors. They brought us one dish at a time which worked out great so the eating never stopped. Very clean restaurant, diverse menu-looking forward to going back.

Loved the Chilly Paneer. The egg noodles was okay. Service was okay. My husband order some lamb dish, which he didn’t like much. I don’t eat meat so don’t know how it was myself. Liked the sweets too. Will go again for the Chilly Paneer!

Rude and disrespectful customer service. Chicken was completely raw and the fish tika was completely burnt, dry, and black. They were very rude and tried saying it was supposed to be like that until they saw the bleeding chicken. This is the second time something has happened. Disappointed how Moghul Express has turned for the worse.

A good example of junk food. The owner sold or split with partners. The new chefs and management have successfully ruined it. Still minting on past glory.

I really want to give this place 3 stars for sweets and 4 stars for food. Is there a way to do that? The mithai, Chum chum was very dry. Not impressed. Chili chicken– good, but wish there were as many chicken pieces as there were chilly pieces. Has lots of green pepper too. Taste is decent. Hakka noodles and chicken manchurian — both good.

Got takeout food from here. I’m a big fan of their chicken dishes. The chicken hyderbadi was so flavorful and perfectly spiced. I also got some kind of drumsticks which I forgot the name, but they were the best drumsticks I ever had! The marinade they used had so much flavor and the drumstick also had the smokey flavor you get from grilling but without it being burnt. I don’t know how they do it! The malai kofta was very good as well, except i wasn’t a fan of their koftas cause they were made from paneer. Stay away from the paneer tikka masala because it was so bland. Their naans were nice and soft exactly the way i like it. They made everything quickly. The naan stayed hot by the time i got home because they use those thermal bags for them. Very smart. I’m a fan!

Die hard fan for the past decade. It’s my family’s go-to food. It has recently become pricier and keeping up with the demand has affected the quality but nonetheless it’s still a favorite.
