Came here on a Friday evening with about 4 friends and ordered three appetizers and two noodle soup bowls. I was a bit disappointed because the appetizers were not up to par. We ordered the scallion pancakes, duck rolls, and the pork buns. The scallion pancakes were almost burnt and tasteless. The pork rolls in the picture had white fluffy steamed buns– but when it came out, it literally looked like an English muffin. The appetizer looked nothing like that of the picture advertised. However, I will say that the duck rolls were very good. It was crispy and flavorful. As for the noodle bowls, there are tons of noodles, so make sure you come on an empty stomach. There are so many varieties, but I picked number 40. Really liked the beef noodle soup. Not your best, but pretty good. However, my friend ordered the spicy noodle with tofu in it, and there was a very weird scent to it. This place is a hit or miss, so make sure you read the reviews of what dish to order before going there. However, didn’t have trouble finding the spot. I did have to park in the lot next door because the lot was full.

Meh. Came here because of the 4 star review and was disappointed. Got the special spicy noodle soup and my brother got the seafood chow fun. My soup was alright however there was barely any meat in it. Maybe 2oz at best. Seafood chow fun was average as well /nothing special. With Penang and chinabowl up the road, this place going to have to step up…

Probably my fifth time coming here. Food is good as always(I would give food a 5 out of 5), but service level has somehow sunk. They have a minimum $ 10 credit card limit, but I’ve always told them to put a $ 10 bill on my card(with gratuity). It’s always worked here and it’s working everywhere else. Today the waitress started telling me that this cannot be done because she wouldn’t be able to draw the gratuity«out of the bill». I told her then talk to her manager because I didn’t have any cash with me. Finally she brought the bill but she stood next to me to watch me write how much of gratuity I give. I’ve never come across a server watching me write my bill ever in my life. This is not a eating kitchen where food is all customers care about. Start learning how to «run a business» otherwise only delicious food won’t take your business long.

The address on Unilocal directs you to the wrong address, the location is 1803 Lincoln Hwy, Edison, NJ8817. Came here on a Tuesday night and was pretty quiet. We got the house duck roll, house classic need tendon noodle with soup and the liuzhou style noodles. Both were quite good. The two noodles had different types of noodle, one was more like ramen noodle whereas the liuzhou one had rice noodles. The duck rolls were only okay. I preferred the liuzhou noodles even though it was spicier than I would have liked.

Ordered 06, 51, and 52. Damn the liuzhou spicy noodle was so good. Probably the best I’ve had in the states. Also the place is pretty cheap. Nothing to complain about at this restaurant, will definitely be returning.

Really great customer service and the food came out really fast. The spicy noodles was yummy. I was not a fan of the soupy dumpling.

Try the house duck roll, it was my favorite! They wrapped it using scallion pancakes which made it extra delicious.

Seeing a beautifully garnished bowl of noodle soup, I got attracted to Noodle’s Time and dragged my friend along to dine here. Since it’s called Noodle’s Time, we both got a bowl: Liuzhou(me) and Gullin(~$ 8), and we also shared a pork bun(~$ 5). The diced pork was marinated with tasty sauce with a hint of sweetness and sandwiched between a not too airy bun. It was good and got my hunger switch on! I was so happy when my noodle soup came shortly! The broth was flavorful with a little spicy kick to it, and the noodles were just right(not too soft or hard). Also, the noodle soup was generously topped with tofu, beef, and assorted veggies! It was a wonderful meal! The service was good too. They’d come often to check on us, and they were very attentive. Speedy and efficient! I’d come back here a few times. I know I will continue to visit. Great place! Can’t wait to check out the other noodle soups!

Noodle noodle noodle! I loved it. Reminded me of this great noodle spot in Manhattan. I was visiting family and passed by this place. The servers are so great and this place is clean as well. Small but don’t judge by looks!

Got a noodle soup, just ok. I asked over the phone if they had knife-cut noodles, and they said yes. They were not knife-cut noodles. Oh well.

Hole in the wall for sure. The food here is amazing. I had a rice platter with fried, crispy pork chops and it was AMAZING. All it was is that they ran out of bubbles for the bubble tea and the AC wasn’t on when it was like 90 degrees out.

It’s good but not great. I had an enjoyable lunch here and the noodles and rice dishes tasted decent. However, I don’t feel the urge to come back and try their other offerings especially with all the other Asian food option nearby. This place is not bad all at, I just feel that it has nothing that distinguishes itself for other noodle shops nearby.

This will be my first and last time to this place! I order the Home Style dumplings and it was from frozen. I didn’t bother to finish the dumplings! The #40 Beef Stew with Tendon was not tender at all. You’ll need canine teeth to bite into it! As for the Liuzhou Style Spicy Noodle #52 that everyone is raving about is full of MSG and not much flavor. I could get this in an instant noodle. Although, all the dishes look beautiful the taste didn’t follow through. My friend and I was totally disappointed.

I visited yesterday and had a bowl of Liuzhou noodles. It is somewhat spicy, but I can handle it. It was pretty delicious! I also am recovering from a cold. I think it was great comfort food especially since I am Chinese and I miss the food of my people. I dont get to eat that much unless I am home or NYC. Service was okay. I dont have any complaints. Parking is scarce so it much better if you park in the back. Also, if you dont speak fluent Chinese, it may be difficult to fully communicate with the servers. It seems all the customers were Chinese when I went.

I have only been here twice and tried the Guilin and Liuzhou noodles. They are really delicious. I came from Guangxi and I missed the noodles of my hometown. Noodle Time can really satisfy me. I just want to make it a routine to go there every week to enjoy the noodles.

Their beef tendon noodle is amazing, but the lamb soup is not that amazing. Servers are really nice and the restaurant is simply amazing too :)

I love love LOVE noodles! Usually more of the ramen or phở-style rice noodle persuasion. So when I saw this new establishment with Guilin rice noodles open up, in an area I venture to often, it was one I had to try. We started with the House Duck Roll. Nice crispy egg roll shell. The duck was a bit over cooked making it chewy, but they didn’t skimp on the filling and the sweet sauce wasn’t overwhelming. The Guilin rice noodles made here have made it on my list of fave noodles and I will definitely be back to try more of their noodle soups. The best way to describe these noodles are that they are round spaghetti-like noodles, that are thicker than what you would be used to in a phở-style noodle soup. I tried the Liuzhou style spicy rice noodle soup since I love super spicy food and the picture(on Unilocal) and on Noodle’s Time’s menu made it look super appealing. My soup came out, and if you take a look, it doesn’t resemble what was shown. Mine came with bean curd skin. I’m in no way complaining because I do love bean curd skin, but if it was someone that didn’t like this change or surprise that could be an issue. I can’t give NT a 5 star rating due to this inconsistency. Being a new establishment maybe they tweeked this menu item dependent on the available ingredients in their kitchen. Or I’m thinking there must have been miscommunication on the menu item ordered and I must have been given a different menu item from what I originally wanted. The noodles were cooked perfectly and al dente, and the ratio of portion size to price is perfect. The broth was very flavorful and not too salty which are definite pros to any broths. As for the spice level it was spicy but if you can handle heat like me, you might opt to making it spicier with some chili oil. To top off dinner, they give«lu dou sha» — sweet green mung bean soup. This is such a wonderful dessert. Not too sweet and really refreshing. This is a traditional Chinese dessert which I haven’t had in a while and brought me back to my childhood growing up with a lot of Chinese influence from close family friends and God parents. Service is A-OK and the space is super clean. Parking in front of this place is tight. Enter on Greenwood Ave. where there’s a large lot with additional parking.

You will have no idea how excited I was finding out this recently opened restaurant has Guilin Rice Noodle!!! Well, I spent 18 years in Guilin and the rice noodle was basically my everyday staple. Even though what I get here is a little different from the authentic one but still, it’s good enough. I also had the Liuzhou Spicy Rice Noodle, which is really close to the authentic one, but warning– it’s spicy!!! OMG I think this place will become my new favorite because it reminds me so much of home!!! I wanna cry!!!
