We have been coming here since they opened. Always good food. Biggest issue is every time we come the portions keep getting smaller.

Food is good but service is bad. They are really stingy with their toppings and sauces. Also, the tomboy looking chick at the cash register is super rude. Drops customers money and doesn’t apologize nor does she greet the customers and says thank you. Ruining the company’s name for no reason.

Love the uniqueness of this place. Great options from mashed potato to tater tots with all the fixings to be added. Great sauces as well to be paired. Always good to have a different option from the normal Wendy’s and 5 asian cuisine restaurants in the food court

I’ve been eating at Potatopia for 2 years and it’s truly the sh*t! I always get the smashed hit as it has the right balance of potatoes, toppings, shrimps, and chipotle aioli. For less than $ 6, it’s worth my trip to Menlo Mall. I should try the other options, but I might fat from all that goodness! :)

Ordered a regular comatoser for $ 6.75. I changed the signature items a bit. Ingredients including: — Baked Potato instead of Skin Chip — Salt & Pepper — Cheddar Cheese — Asiago Cheese — Pepperjack Cheese — Scallion — Red Onion — extra Garlic — Cilentro — without Jalepeno — Broccoli — Bacon with Melted Cheddar — Garlic Aioli instead of Roasted Pepper Aioli — Truffle Aioli instead of Ranch. At first I though would it be enough as for my dinner. As it turn out, this makes me full. With all these ingredients, it doesn’t feel plain at all as I am not a super fan of potato. It was a good combination. This place so far only appears at malls’ food court area. Definitely worth to try.

SO delicious! I wasn’t expecting much because I mean it’s just some potatoes topped with toppings, but I was wrong, it was so tasty! We got a pre-made menu item, Curly Sue, which had curly fries, jalapenos, pepperjack cheese, parmesan, garlic, scallion, and two sauces: chipotle ketchup and garlic aioli. I must say your breathe might feel a bit stinky after eating but it’s well worth it. The ingredients mixed well together but I think the part that made it extra good was the sauces; they were both full of flavor and worked so well together and with the dish. I am definitely going to go back! Highly recommend trying Curly Sue(some bites may be spicy).

Calling out all Potato Lovers! This place is your customizable slice of heaven(there are some non-customizable options too)! Basically this is a make your own potato dish! You can choose your kind of potato: tater tots, curly, baked sweet potato, and a few more! Then you choose the topping you want! There are many vegetables and some meat options. I ordered curly fries with no meat topped with scallions, corn, mozzarella cheese, cilantro, and salt & pepper. The fries were added last the the cheese was mostly melted. Suffice to say, I had the best Carb filled meal! My friends had chicken with tater tots and baked sweet potato topped with cinnamon and sugar. I didn’t bother trying their’s since I was so satisfied with mine. What I know is that they were beyond satisfied with what they ordered!

This place is good. Really good but I wouldn’t go out of my way for these. This is the one in the Menlo Park mall so it is conveniently placed in the food court. The portion size is nice but I wouldn’t eat these to replace a meal. If I would recommend one it would be the Smashed Hit but if it doesn’t fit your fancy, you can always build your own!

tried this place in the city on Broadway! Its amazing. Super creative dishes… I love their choice of proteins and they taste delicious. There was about 30 people when I was there and the line moved smoothly and the workers were friendly. Def coming back and more than once

After a few minutes of shopping my belly was calling out for some grub. After seeing long lines for other establishments, we decided on Potatopia and it did not disappoint. It was our first time trying it and we ended up ordering the Smashed Hit and Curly Sue(we added chicken to both). Because we were new to this potato craze, we played it safe and just went along with whatever was predetermined for us on the menu. Both meals were very tasty and sastifying. The chicken, however, wasn’t great nor did it taste fresh but overall I enjoyed the bursting flavors. I ended up taking home half of my meal as it was very filling. Also, I wish the employees were a little more suggestive and helpful in selecting a meal. Perhaps asking customers whether this is a first visit might help. During my order, I felt out of place, unprepared and unaware of what to expect. Their potato creations made up for it and their price range. I absolutely recommend and will return to this establishment.

I’ll admit it, I resist change. When Potatopia changed their pricing structure — I resisted and boycotted their restaurant. But as they say, time heals all wounds and I now place Potatopia as one of my favorite places to eat once again. With their new pricing structure, they offer many more options. There are more potato options and more protein options. My favorite was always the smashed potato, but their tater tots are quite heavenly. Plus they have a new mashed potato option which I’ll have to try out — who doesn’t love loaded mashed potatoes? My love of Potatopia has returned full swing. I missed eating here, and will definitely return again and again and again. I might even regain my duchess crown in the near future — we’ll see.

Potatopua serves surprisingly fresh and delicious mall food court meals at a pretty convenient price point. They operate out of a tiny kiosk in the court, but with so many options, its hard to go wrong here. I had the curly fries topped with all the vegetables, chicken, pepper jack, and chili aioli. Really tasty. And a mini was exactly enough food without making me feel like a baked potato! All together with a organic green tea = $ 8.00. The line and waiting process is a little cramped, but if they ever upgrade to an actual stall, it would fix a lot of their space/process constraints.

Need a potato snack at the mall? No problem, go to potatopia. Chipotle style topping additions on a wide array of different baked and fried potato. Not to mention lots of sauces to add to your potato masterpiece. The menu selections are good if you don’t want to create something for yourself. Tasty.

As a concept, I love the idea of Potatopia; if you’ve never been, think of it as Chipotle or Subway for potatoes. You select a type of potato(fries, baked, skins, etc.) and add on from a wide variety of toppings, sauces, cheeses, garnishes, and the like. For the indecisive, like myself, there are also some pre-set options on the menu to pick from. On a recent visit, I had the Comatoser. While it was reasonably good, I was a bit disappointed with the overkill amount of scallions and cilantro. After all, these things are meant to be used sparingly for added taste, not liberally as if to constitute the main components of a salad. I do credit Potatopia for some things, though: the potatoes were very nicely done, and the sauces were delicious! The service here is pretty good; it could be faster, but I suppose it’s hard to fault the employees given the small space that they have to work with. I also think it’s somewhat stupid to charge customers for cups of water; most places offer that for free. In all, this is a pretty good place, but I’d love the concept even more if they improved the execution and lightened up on the penny-pinching approach.

This place is terrible! Now don’t get me wrong — I am a French Fry lover through and through! But I’ve gone there several times now, and every time I’m surprised to find how ridiculously slow the service is! There’s really no excuse for them to take so long in preparing the food. They know what people are going to order — there are like 3 menu options. It should take them less than 5 minutes to complete an order, but it takes them more like 15! For the staff to be so slow and uninspired, it makes me think the place has hostile management or something. There’s something really wrong with this place. That being said, the fries are good(how could they not be?) — that’s the only reason this place gets a second star.

Mmmmm I love potatoes all kinds of ways. Potatopia has them in every way imaginable. I chose the smashed hit with chicken and the curly sue with steak. Go for the steak. The sauces make everything amazing, so you really can’t go wrong. You can also opt to choose your own potatoes, toppings and sauces for over 52395310* combinations. *not the real number of combos, I just can’t do math

My friend told me about this place and took me here and I thought potatoes? What’s so special? EVERYTHINGISSPECIAL. It was so delicious! Who knew potatoes could leave such an impression? I had the smashed hit. This is not much of a meal but a great snack, and they come in two sizes. The pricing is very reasonable too! And they had lots of free samples, which drew me in more… I loved it and next time I’m in menlo mall I will get some more. I just wish we had one in philly!

I wanted to love this, I really did. Honestly, it was just OK, nothing special. Here’s what I got– I chose to build my own and here’s what i decided upon — –Smashed Potatoes, scallions, corn, red onions, garlic, Asiago cheese and Cheddar cheese with chicken. Oh and the Ranch aioli on top. I definitely could have gone without the chicken and garlic, but I still think that without that stuff, it still was just eh. I LOVE potatoes and carbs in general, so I will definitely give it another shot with their sweet potato. I’ll give an updated review when I get around to trying this place out again. Tear :(

What a wonderfully delicious concept! Potatopia offers a wide variety of potatoes including, french fries, sweet potato fries, curly fries, crinkle fries, baked and smashed potatoes to name a few. Pair those with a multitude of toppings like bacon, cheese, scallions, onions, jalapenos… the list goes on, but doesn’t stop there. You also get a sauce to go on top of your fries like chipolte aioli, ranch, ketchup, sour cream and so on. Fries are cooked to order and come out hot and perfectly crisp. While they offer a bunch of signature items, I opted for a build my own and went with; sweet potato fries, scallions, onions, chipolte aioli and bacon. It was fabulous! Completely addictive and scrumptious. If you come upon the food court in the Menlo Park Mall, look for the little kiosk behind the info desk; if you love fries, you won’t be disappointed.
