This Starbucks is super consistent, albeit incredibly busy at most hours. It is my go-​to coffee fix location when I am visiting Edison. I typically stop in if I’m on my way to Menlo Park Mall, Costco, or sometimes on my way out from JFK. I have, on occasion, tried to read and study here, but it can get super loud because it’s a small location and because there is usually heavy traffic in and out of the store. It’s the only reason I give it four stars! Otherwise, the staff is skilled, friendly, and if they ever make a mistake (rare), they always fix it quickly!

This is the Starbucks I usually go to. Friendly, quality baristas make your food or drink quickly. I’ve never had a problem here and I always feel welcomed. As for the quality of the food and drink, it’s Starbucks so it’s pretty much the same anywhere you go, but I will say they make it on par with the Starbucks standard here. They have 4 small tables inside, 3 small tables outside and a bar style seeing along the wall opposite the baristas. All in all I feel like the people are friendly and that’s why I choose to come to this Starbucks.

This place is so slow. Usually I stop at the Starbucks in North Brunswick which is excellent, but when I’m running late I stop at this one because it is closer to my job. It is so slow, no one seems to know what he/​she is doing and there is no personal touch. It’s just like an assembly line of people, and there is almost always a line.

A substandard Starbucks experience from a slow line to a rag-​tag assortment of baristas, none of whom was wearing the uniform or greeting the customers as you would expect. Not much room, either, if you are staying to do work. I’d go back in a pinch but not if there’s another Starbucks on my way.

Went there for a meeting which is nice since they have plugs for laptops and seating that is spread-​out so you can chat. I actually wound up sitting in the outside area which is nice and was able to enjoy the summer weather. It’s up the standards you would be expect from starbucks. Would definitely recommend if you have a team meting and your field based (outside sales) and are not discussing something overly confidential.

Unfortunately I don’t believe the behind the counter area has been cleaned in weeks. There is a thick layer of dust and residue on the two espresso machines right in front of you where you wait for your drink to be prepared. My concern is, if what is right in front of the customer’s eye is not being cleaned regularly, what else that we can’t see isn’t being cleaned as well? Very unpleasant, especially seeing the coffee mugs top side down sitting up there waiting to be used. I don’t care how good the coffee may be or how well the staff treats the customers, dirty is dirty.

This is a pretty small Starbucks so if you’re looking for a lot of room to spread out and meet up with friends or coworkers this might not be possible. But for coffee on the go and a snack it’s more than adequate.
